A bright light. That is the best way she knew how to describe it. This blinding light that had reached down into the depths of a being that many thought of to be invincible. Thought of to be complete. The perfect being and she was a part of him. They both were. Her twin brother and herself like two pieces to complete a jigsaw puzzle. A puzzle that she never thought she would ever escape from. Never thought she would escape the binds that held her in place inside of this thing. This android. This creature. Just even the thought of what happened to her to this day makes her sick. Makes her want to empty out her stomach's contents. But never again. Never again would she be put back in that place. The belly of the beast being used as some kind of energy source with these binds wrapped around her wrists and ankles that would just feed off her never ending energy supply. A fate that she thought she was destined to live forever.
But then it happened. This light. This blinding light that had creeped through this creature's hard shell. This light that brought forth a hand. A moment that she would never forget. Never forget the power that she felt coming from this light. This overwhelming power that would sever the bonds holding her in place along with her twin brother before the impossible would happen. For this creature to suddenly release them and spit them out as though they were a piece of bubblegum. A moment she would never forget. Never forget the feeling of the sunlight hitting her face once again. Never forget the feeling of breathing in fresh air. Never forget the face of her savior.
A young man that she sits silently by his bedside not daring to move a muscle. Not daring to do anything that could possibly wake him. He needed his rest. After everything that he had gone through to defeat Cell. After everything that he is yet to get through he would need it and she would be there by his side. Would be there to comfort him. Why she felt this way even she doesn't quite understand yet. The age difference to the side there was something else. Something that deeply intrigued her about this young saiyan. This young savior of the planet that for the first time in recent days can be found in a peaceful slumber unlike every single other night prior. A young saiyan that she hasn't let out of her sight. Even now as she sits by his bedside with her head laying on the mattress just within arms reach of him in case something is to happen. She hoped not. He has already been through enough pain and it wouldn't get any easier once he wakes up. All because of that day. The day he became a savior. The day that he had defeated Cell in what would forever be known as The Cell Games. The day he became her darling. And she could remember it like it was yesterday.
Eyes full of fury. Eyes blazing with nothing but bad intentions. A look that none had ever seen before coming from his eyes. Coming from the eyes that many would say a calm hearted soul. Would say that he had been born with his father's and mother's best traits. But after this day? After seeing this look? Many opinions would change after this day. Especially as this young saiyan warrior walks with this predatory grin across his face stalking after the very one that had unleashed this side of the young man. Had gone great lengths to ensure that this young saiyan would snap and unleash his full power. Such great power that had made everyone pause. Make every single battle around him come to a halt. This power that had sent a cold shiver down the spines of many especially when he had let out a roar. This loud battle cry that echoed through the valley. Had sent massive shockwaves making the ground shake violently. Make the skies above darken. Such a sight only three had witnessed one before on the planet Namek. But this time things were different. This time the power released wasn't like that of the likes of any regular super saiyan ever seen before to date. No this power. This power seemed almost….invincible.
Such a power that everyone in the area watched on full display. Watched his enhanced speed that none could keep up with. Watched as his strikes would make all those that dared to attack him or stand in his way of his true enemy evaporate as though they were never there. Such power that would be turned against the very same creature that thought all of this was some sort of game. A game that he would win easily before turning his sights towards another planet. A game that he now finds rather intriguing when he sees the young saiyan coming to a stop and tilt his head as his eyes drift down for a brief moment down towards his chest. But a game that would come to an immediate halt once he felt one blow. One clean blow driven hard into his stomach making his artificial lungs gasp for breath. Make green slime that he called blood to spill from his mouth. Such a mighty blow that he felt something within him starting to change. Something draining. A sudden thought that would enter his mind as he backpedaled away from his much shorter foe holding his stomach while his body starts to transform. Starts to grow bigger by the second. Starts to glow bright yellow.
" How dare you! Boy! You won't defeat me! A worthless saiyan like you can't compete with me! I'm invincible and now i will make you pay!"
A statement that barely escapes his mouth before within a blink of an eye a closed right fist lands clean once again into his stomach. A stomach that felt as though it was on fire and he would soon find out why when he feels something changing within him. Feels the very power granted to him being sucked away making realization kick in. Before he feels himself dropping down to one knee with his right hand smashing into the ground below holding him upright as nothing but a foreign feeling enters his mind. An emotion that he never thought he would truly experience.
Fear. Intense fear. Such fear that can be seen in his eyes as he looks up from the saiyan's purple boots to lock eyes with him. Eyes that just stare back at him coldly making a cold shiver be felt across his entire body. A body that feels on fire. Feels so drained. Feels so weakened. An impossibility. He is perfect. The perfect being. Designed to be the strongest.
" What….what have you done to me!"
Words that are quickly followed by action. Before he gives in and hunches over emptying his stomach contents all across the ground. Contents that come sprawling out onto the dirt before gasps are heard from the rest of The Z Fighters from the distance.
Two beings. Two androids that were thought to have been lost when he had absorbed them. Two androids that are covered in slime and spit emotionless on the ground in front of him. Androids 17 and 18. The very two androids needed for him to remain complete. The two androids needed to help him remain the perfect being. Two pieces of the puzzle that Dr Gero had created that he reaches out towards as his body starts to change before a swift kick that lands clean to the side of his head sends Cell barreling away through the air and coming down to crash on the dirt sliding a good distance away. This mighty blow that makes Cell shake his head in an attempt to shake the cobwebs away as he feels blood trickling down from his busted lip. As he lifts his eyes back forward finding the young saiyan kneeling down next to the androids with his left arm underneath holding up an unconscious Android 18 as his right wipes the slime away from her face. A scene that he has barely time to react to before suddenly intense pain is felt all across his body making his hands clutch into tight fists. Before his long nails drive hard into his palms drawing blood. As his body is engulfed in this blue aura. But nothing is more surprising then what happens to his body. A body that blinks brightly as things start to change. As his body starts to change colors rapidly. As his body rapidly gets smaller and smaller before suddenly the changes stop. When suddenly he feels himself winded causing him to drop down to one knee. Causes his already wide eyes to widen by the second before they go as wide as saucers when he looks down towards his hand.
A hand that is no longer perfect. No longer that shape of any human being. No instead what he sees shocks him. What he sees staring back at him is the hand of his first form. The very hand that he had used to pummel away Android 17 when he refused to cooperate with the bigger picture. The same hand that he had used to battle against Piccolo. Such a sight that makes this overwhelming sense of fear run straight through him even as his long stinger comes back around to land by his side before his eyes lift up to stare angrily at Gohan that doesn't even pay him a mere glance and instead chooses to keep his attention solely on the unconscious android in his arms.
" Boy!"
Snapping up to his feet slowly stalking his way over towards the young saiyan leaving small craters behind with every single step that he takes. Steps that draw Gohan's attention making his gold eyes lift up to stare into Cell's stone cold furious own. A look that is returned making him gently lower Android 18 back down to the ground right next to Android 17. But he doesn't back down even as this inferior Cell marches over towards him with this furious look across his face.
" You little insect! How dare you make a fool out of me!"
Without giving the young saiyan anytime to react with a surge of speed Cell charges forward as fast as his wings will take him and throws a double axe handle with the intention of driving Gohan to the ground only to be once again shocked when he feels himself hitting nothing but the ground causing it to shake when the young saiyan disappears within a blink of an eye. Such speed that suddenly makes him scream out in pain when he feels a boot landing clean into the middle of his back making him scream out in pain and drop down before Cell's eyes widen when he feels each of his wings being grabbed. A feeling that makes him quickly look back finding Gohan's cold eyes staring at him while he holds each of his wings. Eyes that he only stares at for a mere second before he lets out a blood curdling scream when each of his wings are ripped out causing green blood to gush from his open wounds. Cause for him to drop down face first to the ground below screaming in agony. Such a sight that even makes each of The Z Fighters look his way in shock. Look Gohan's way with a hint of fear in their eyes. As for the young saiyan himself? Nothing is seen in his eyes. Eyes that just stare down at Cell with little emotion within them. Eyes that don't even notice each of the androids stirring from their deep slumber.
Hearing this ear piercing scream invading her eardrums unable to suppress the groan that escapes her lips cracking open her eyes as the first image that she sees of Cell on the ground withering in pain as though she was burned instantly Android 18 backs away on the ground with her eyes wide open. Eyes that just stare at the very disgusting creature that had absorbed her a short time ago crushing any hopes that one day she may find a life worth living with her annoying twin brother by her side screaming from the ground in this form that she had last seen before he has absorbed Android 17. An impossibility that makes her quickly look around before she spots her twin brother a small distance away from her awakening from his own deep sleep holding his head. Such a sight that makes her happy inside before her eyes are quickly drawn back forward when she sees another out of the corner of her eye. A young man that has his back turned towards her. A young man that she watches turn to pay her a quick glance over his shoulder making her eyes go wide in realization until she whispers out before she can catch herself.
" Gohan?"
For a brief moment as she swears to be a faint smile across his face that just makes her eyes widen in shock before she has a chance to question anything any further, suddenly the sight of Cell snapping up to his knees draws her attention. A creature that she watches with a hint of shock in her eyes regrow his wings before suddenly his stinger comes surging forward at Gohan. This stinger that she knew what could do if it was to hit but it doesn't get the chance to. Not when the young saiyan side steps out of the way with such ease before to her amazement he delivers a clean chop downwards and cuts the stinger clean in half causing Cell to scream out in pain as half of his tail falls down to the ground with his open wound spraying green blood everywhere. A scream that is suddenly silenced when within a blink of an eye Gohan teleports in front of Cell and delivers a clean uppercut launching him high into the air. A move that is quickly followed with another when Gohan reappears high up in the air and delivers a vicious double axe handle of his own that lands clean onto the top of Cell's head once he reaches him. Such a vicious blow that sends the creature back down into the ground a blazing speed before the sound of a mighty crash echoes through the valley. As a large dust cloud forms upon impact. As the ground shakes and caves in creating a crater making Android 18 in a split decision race over and wrap an arm around Android 17 bringing him to safety just as Cell comes crashing down into the ground.
This sight everyone looks at as Gohan descends down from the dust cloud. Descends down into the crater where once the dust clears Cell can be found laying down on his back with blood spilling out of his mouth every single time he tries to take a breath. A sight that young saiyan looks at for a few moments as he comes to a stop to hover a small distance above the downed creature before a bright golden aura surrounds his body. As electricity shoots off from his body striking the ground. As he lowers his right hand down palm open to point at Cell with an energy ball forming. This energy ball that suddenly is unleashed causing a bright light to erupt through the valley. A light that forces each of The Z Fighters to put a hand up in front of their faces to shield themselves. Cause for Androids 17 and 18 to look away. But one thing can be heard by all. The sound of screams. Screams coming from Cell. These blood curdling screams until suddenly nothing is heard. Until the bright light goes away making everyone turn and look back towards the scene finding the crater even deeper. See Gohan lowering his right hand away from this massive crater. A crater that is found to be empty with no traces of Cell anywhere in sight.
A sight itself that makes every single person present android and Z Fighter alike celebrate this creature's demise. Celebrate that this dark day is over. That these Cell Games are over. But one pair of eyes quickly look away from the crater and back towards her savior. A savior that just stays hovering in the air. A savior the moment she sees his face can tell something is wrong. Especially when his right hand comes up to clutch at his chest making her eyes widen before suddenly it happens. Something that nobody expects. The sound of his screams. Screams that echo through the valley as veins pop all across his body sending blood spraying across the ground. As his head snaps back with blood trickling down his forehead. As these intense shockwaves are felt making the ground violently shake. So violently every single Z Fighter has to keep their feet firmly on the ground to stay upright while the androids take to the skies. Androids that just stare at Gohan in shock and fear before very slowly the golden glow surrounding his body disappears. But that's when it happens. It starts to fall. Starts to crash down into the waiting pit before within a blink of an eye Android 18 appears and catches him before he can land inside of the pit. An android whose arms clutch him close to her chest as she crashes down to the ground in a kneeling position. Before everyone springs into action as Gohan's eyes crack open to meet her own for a brief moment before they close and his head falls to the side.
