It was kind of a stupid idea. . . she had to admit that, but what was she supposed to do? She heard rustling in a bush and saw a snake. Of course, looking back climbing a good 20 feet up a tree didn't make sense. Considering snakes weren't the best climbers and that the snake probably wasn't trying to attack her. She couldn't entirely blame herself though. Afterall, it was her stupid ex-boyfriends fault that she was walking in the woods in the first place. And now, thanks to him (kinda, although not really, but she preferred to blame him), she was stuck.

All this was running through Anna's mind. Her thoughts were going a mile a minute, just as she rambled quite often. However, all of a sudden she heard something that sounded like steps and a dog?

She looked down the tree and saw a burly man with blond hair sticking out of his hat walking his dog. From what she saw, he was kinda really cute. The dog, of course, why would she be liking a strange guy in the woods? That's just weird, right? Whether it be weird or not, she still needed help. So, she said,

"Hey! How's it going today?" she paused just for a split second then said, "I'm sorry that probably sounded so weird. Why am I so stupid? Can't I just act li…"

"Crazy, tree girl," the stranger mumbled. He continued on his way, walking his dog.

"Hey! I heard that" Anna yelled down, "I'm not that crazy."

The man scoffed and kept walking.

"Wait! Please don't leave I'm kinda stuck up here. I need your help. I know I probably seem really stupid, and I'm not going to completely deny that, but once you really get to know me, you'll realize I'm not that stupid. Of course, you don't have to get to know me, but I re…"

"Do you ever shut up?" the stranger said as he finally stopped and looked up at the tree. He got a semi-good look at her. He could tell she had ginger hair and fair skin, but that was the only details he could see.

Anna replied, "I can! And I will if you help me down." she was really getting tired of holding onto a tree and she figured no one else would be coming anytime soon.

The man said, "Why would I do that?" he crossed his arms.

Anna thought for a second trying to think of a better reason besides being genuinely nice and said, "because if you get me down I'll treat you to some coffee at the student lounge. You go to college here, right? I don't mean to make assumptions, you just look…"

The man interrupted her and said, "Yes, I go to college here and I don't want your stupid coffee." He started walking away.

Anna yelled, "Wait! Please just help me get down. I can make a deal with you. How about if you get me down then I'll tell you how I got up here. If you still think I'm crazy then I'll just give you the money for the coffee, if you don't think I'm completely crazy then you'll let me take you to coffee."

The man grumbled, "That doesn't seem like a very fair situation." he sighed and looked at his dog. The dog seemed to tell him to go help her. "Fine, I'll help you, but only if you shut up."

Anna said, "I promise I'll be quiet, you won't hear a single noise come out of me. By the way my name is Anna."

The stranger grumbled all the way up the tree. Mumbling about how annoying she was until he finally reached where she was. He looked at her face, and to be quite honest, he thought it was the most gorgeous face he had ever seen. Her eyes were a beautiful blue that had the perfect green tint to it. Her face and arms splattered with red freckles that matched her hair perfectly. He couldn't help but stare.

Anna, who was quite weirded out by his staring, said "thanks for coming up here. I really appreciate it. I hope you know a good way to get down cause I really have no i… argh"

The man picked her up with ease and brought her safely down the tree. Once they were safely down, Anna spoke up and said, "wow! You are really strong! And kinda really cute. Wait… what?! Did I just say that out loud? I'm sorry but you really are very strong thank you so much, uhhh ummm…"

"It's Kristoff," the man said, "and your welcome." He was blushing like crazy. I mean, how could a girl this beautiful think he was cute?

Anna said, "well, it's nice to meet you Kristoff." She smiled "now I will tell you the story of how I got up that tree," she looked up at it and gasped, "how on earth did I climb that high? I'm so clumsy. I'm surprised I didn't fall while climbing up or while just sitting for th…"

Kristoff said, "Slow down. You haven't even gotten to the story yet," He chuckled and said, "why don't we walk to the student lounge together and you can tell me on the way there and while we have coffee."

Anna gasped "really! You want to have coffee with me? This is so exciting! I thought that you thought I was crazy, but I guess you don't think I am completely, do you Kristofer?"

Kristoff said, "one it's Kristoff," he picked up Sven's leash he put under a heavy rock and said, "and two, I don't think you're 100% crazy. Just more like 98"

Anna smacked his arm and said, "I am not that crazy!" she crossed her arms.

"Whatever you say, Feisty Pants." Kristoff started walking out of the woods.

Anna jogged up to him and said, "hey! Not so fast I have little legs." She pouted and said, "anyway as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted. I was in the woods and I…"

"Interrupted? The only person who interrupted you was yourself." Kristoff said.

Anna said, "whatever, anyway while I was walking in the woods to clear my thoughts about my stupid ex-boyfriend, Hans. Did I mention how stupid and what a jerk he was? He was just so awful, but anyway I heard the bush rustle and I kinda stayed far away because who knows what in these bushes in the woods. One time when I was little and walking in the woods a huge racoon came out and bit me! I had to go to the hospital and get so many shots! Do you know how serious rabies are? I sure didn't…"

Kristoff just chuckled and shook his head as they walked. By the time they got to the student lounge to get their coffees, Anna hadn't gotten much further into her story than where she began. She had endless rabbit trails that seemed to start after every sentence of her actual story. So far Kristoff only knew that she had a horrible ex-boyfriend, was prone to accidents, and that she did not like snakes.

After settling down in the lounge with their coffees, Anna finished her story. She said, "so do you still think I'm "98%" crazy" she put finger quotes around the percentage and tried to mimic his voice.

Kristoff chuckled and said, "If it was almost anyone else I'd call you more crazy, but it's your lucky day. I suppose I could call you less crazy"

Anna squeaked and said, "great! I told you I'm not completely crazy. You're already warming up to me! I think we need to get together more. Wouldn't that be so fun? Hey? Why don't you walk me to my dorm. My sister is there then you can meet her. Although, she isn't the most "people" kind of person. But I think you're really cute, and she told me that she wants to meet anyone who I think is c…"

Before Kristoff could even think about it, he kissed her. He immediately thought about pulling away, but the young red head kissed back. When the kiss ended, he said, "im so sorry I didn't mean to kiss you I just couldn't help it"

Anna giggled and said, "That's okay!" she got up from her seat and said, "I really liked it." She pulled him into another kiss.

Kristoff mummered, "crazy tree girl."
