Alexis: The Techno Mage Hero
AN: This will be a Zelda: Twilight Princess story connected to Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Skyward Sword. I hope you enjoy this story. I started writing this story several years ago and finally got around to typing it up.
Disclaimer: I don't own the Zelda games. If I did Fi or Navi would never left their Links.
Summary: Alexis runs from people who want to use her inventions as weapons and she ends up in the Sheikah village from Twilight Princess. Alexis helps Link save Hyrule.
CHAPTER 1
Montana 9 PM
Alexis is in her workshop putting the finishing touches on the design for her Solar Fuel Converter. It is supposed to convert solar energy into liquid fuel. Alexis is twenty-five years old and she invents hi-tech futuristic weapons, and vehicles. She even made Artificial Intelligence with emotions and a personality. She had invented electric landmines and light stun grenades. The landmines would go off with a large electrical blast disabling any vehicles by destroying the engine or electrocuting a person that stepped on one. The grenades will explode in a bright flash of light blinding and stunning them at the same time. She had placed a lot of the electric landmines as well as EMP landmines all over her yard and in her driveway. Just then the perimeter alarm went off.
"Alexis, we have intruders coming up the driveway." Said Ray, the AI that Alexis invented by merging radar and sonar together. They would put video images on a flat screen TV monitor. Ray turned on the TV monitor which showed large tan and green trucks and Jeeps coming up the driveway.
"Activate all landmines when they are all on the driveway." Alexis said brushing her shoulder length straight brown hair behind her. She got up and began closing everything that was open, securing everything down, and put all of her tools away.
"Navina, transfer all data from the house to the database in here. Then set the self-destruct implosion device in the house for two minutes." Alexis said and began teleporting everything from the house to her workshop then shrinking it for easy storage. She put a few things in a leather backpack that she enchanted. She put a laser whip in a side pocket on the backpack. There was a metal cooler with a divider in the middle of it.
In the cooler half she had cubes of fruit and in the warmer half she had cubes of steak, pork chops, ham, turkey, and fried chicken. Navina is a AI sphere that is three inches in diameter with a 9.42 circumference. Navina is purple in color and can hover as well as fly through the air. Alexis grabbed a GamePad that she had synced to Navina and put bit in an enchanted leather pouch made to hold it on her side.
"Transfer complete. All of the vehicles have been disabled and now they are getting out of them." Daisy said the third AI that Alexis made.
"Thanks Daisy. Make sure they don't get near the workshop. Navina get in the bike." Alexis said and put the backpack on. She grabbed a motorcycle that she built from scratch then wheeled it out the back door.
"Daisy, Ray close and seal the workshop up then lock it down." Alexis said and heard the workshop close up then locks click. Alexis is a mistress with runes and enchantments. She took out her techno wand as she went around the side then touched the shrinking rune. The workshop shrank down to the size of an ice cube. She picked it up and put it in her pocket. She went back to her motorcycle.
"Navina start the engine." Alexis said and she got on the motorbike and took off down a path through the woods behind her house. She heard the detonation of the implosion device. Her motorbike is a red and white hi-tech marvel. A red visor appeared over her face. It worked just like the visor from the recent Metroid games. She designed her motorcycle to look futuristic. There is an emblem of a horse on one side and the emblem of a Loftwing on the other side. Her motorbike looked like a mix between a Suzuki and a Kawasaki motorcycle.
"Navina open the time stream to the Twilight Princess era a day before the Queening ceremony. Put us in the Sheikah village." Alexis shouts to Navina who opened the time stream and Alexis drove onto it. On her right hand she has the Triforce of Wisdom, Compassion, and Courage. She is a descendant of Zelda and Link from Skyloft so she inherited their Triforce pieces. The Triforce of Compassion is the upside down middle piece of the Triforce. They look like triangle blue and gold computer chips on Alexis, hand.
The Sheikah Village 11:30 am...
The Sheikah village is in a large flat forest between two mountains. It looked a little more futuristic with the Sheikah technology mixed with magic in rock and metal. Impa ~ the Shadow Sage ~ was standing on her house looking at Hyrule Castle. Hoping that Zelda is ok. She got a message from her sister ~ Aryn ~ saying that they would be coming home from the very far future before their sun goes supernova.
Her sister and less than half the Sheikah went missing and appeared thousands of years in the future. Impa looked up at the blue sun shining in the sky. She turned around to climb down when a blue portal opened up in the village square. She saw a woman on a strange metal contraption on two wheels come shooting out of the portal. She stopped the metal contraption then spun around, said something and the blue portal closed. Then the woman got off of her ride.
*scene change*
Alexis jumped the motorcycle out of the time portal, landed in the Sheikah village, hit the breaks and did a skidding turn to face the portal. The time portal looked like the gate of time.
"Navina close the time stream." Alexis said and Navina closed the time stream. Alexis got off her motorbike then heard someone approaching her and turned around. She saw Impa The Shadow Sage standing there. Navina flew up to Alexis' left shoulder and hovered a few inched above it.
"Navina can you tell her that I can't understand her. You will have to act as a translator. Oh I almost forgot." Alexis said. She took out her techno wand and tapped her earrings. She made earrings that were in the shape of translator runes.
"Ok, can you repeat what you said?" Alexis asked.
"Who are you and what are you doing in my village?" Impa asked.
"My name is Alexis and I am from the far future. I came here because some idiots wanted to use my inventions as weapons. I opened a time stream to your village. Tomorrow during the Queening ceremony someone named Zant will force Zelda to surrender." She told Impa. She pulled out her GamePad ,which Impa thought looked similar to a Sheikah Slate, and pulled up the footage of what happened during the Queening ceremony from the Twilight Princess game in Alexis' time. Impa looked angry at this. By now more Sheikah came out and were looking at the new comer.
"Do you have a place where I can put my workshop? I wasn't about to leave it behind so anyone could get my inventions." Alexis asked and Impa nodded.
"Yes there is an empty space right over there." Impa said and pointed to an empty plot of land on the other side of the village square. Alexis walked her motorbike over near the spot. She took out her shrunken workshop, placed it in the middle and returned it to its normal size. She walked up to the doors and placed her hand on the screen then her eyes to the eye scanner. It scanned the palm of her hand and her eyes then she said her name so it could recognize her voice. The locks clicked and the doors opened. Alexis wheeled her motorbike inside.
"Roy, Daisy wake up. Daisy turn on the Solar Convertors. Ray let the satellite dishes out so we can gather solar energy." Alexis said. Ray and Daisy woke up then began doing what Alexis told them to do.
"I enchanted it to be bigger on the inside. Ray turn on the scanners. Daisy activate the cloaking shield around the whole village. Navina get in my bike and go to hover mode," Alexis said. Ray turned the scanners on and began showing video footage of areas outside. Impa was the only one brave enough to go inside and stood not to far away from Alexis. Daisy turned the cloaking shield on and expanded it to cover the enter village making it vanish from sight. Navina pulled the motorcycle to the work panel and put it in hover mode, "Navina get yourself out of the bike. Daisy activate the work panel and switch hover mode to the finished hovercycle with the added thrusters for more height." Alexis said and Navina flew back to Alexis' shoulder.
Daisy activated the work panel and digitized the motorcycle. Daisy then took out the hover mode and replaced it with the hovercycle. There was a bar showing how long it would take and how much was left. When ti reached one hundred percent it glowed and Daisy turned the work panel off. It was still red and white but now it didn't have any wheels. The front end of the frame was bent underneath it. It was the same length and width as the motorcycle. Alexis smiled at the result. It still had the motorcycle mode in it.
"She is beautiful. We do great work Daisy. Get Ralph ready to launch Ray. Make sure to turn him on first." Alexis said. Ralph is the AI for the satellite that she built.
"Ralph is on and ready to go." Ray said and Daisy giggled.
"Daisy stop flirting. Ralph, good luck. Go ahead Ray." Alexis said.
"Oh sorry." Daisy said.
"Thanks, to boldly go where no AI has gone before." Ralph said and Alexis chuckled at that.
"Adios Ralphy baby, and awwaay he goes." Ray said and they watched as a silver and gold satellite rocket shot through the sky as fast as it could go. They waited about five minutes for Ralph to search space and go into orbit. Ralph had the horse and Loftwing emblems on him.
"I am now in orbit. I'll soon send back images and maps of this system and its planets as I get them." Ralph said.
"Thanks Ralph. We'll be waiting for all that information." Alexis said and put down her backpack.
"Lady Impa, the other are back." Said a male Sheikah sounding happy. Alexis grabbed a metal bo staff that when a button was pressed in the middle both ends would spark with electricity.
"That is good. Let us go welcome them." Impa said. They went outside and saw a large group at Sheikah with Hi-Tech futuristic gear and equipment. This group of Sheikah was wearing clothes with the colors switched. Impa's Sheikah was wearing white clothes with the Sheikah symbol in blue. The group that just arrived was wearing blue Sheikah clothes with a white Sheikah symbol. One of the blue Sheikah walked toward Impa. Alexis noticed a family resemblance between her and Impa.
"Impa." She said. There was another female not to far away.
"Aryn." Impa said and the two women hugged each other.
"Great grandmother Impa." Said the younger woman and hugged Impa.
"We had to make a new Gate of Time as the old one in the time we were in had crumbled apart." Aryn said and Impa nods. Alexis noticed a blue male Sheikah listening to an ear piece.
"Miss Aryn, we have detected an unknown satellite in orbit. What should we do about it?' He said then asked.
"That satellite is mine. I sent him up there to map this solar system. My name is Alexis." She said and held out her hand.
"I'm Aleena. Our records show that you disappeared from your time. At least now we know what happened and when you went. That explosion was impressive." Aleena said and shook Alexis' hand.
"That was an implosion device with a self-destruct feature. I didn't want to risk any of my inventions or tech getting into the wrong hands." Alexis said and Aleena nodded.
"I can understand that. Our records show that you have a dog." Aleena said.
"I had a dog. Those assholes killed him in order to get me to cooperate with them. It just pissed me off instead." Alexis said. Aleena smiled and stepped aside. There stood a familiar large brown and white dog.
"Rufus!" Alexis said shocked but happy to see her dog again. She crouched down and Rufus ran over to her then began licking her in the face making her laugh.
"I missed you too now down boy. But how?" Alexis said then asked. Rufus sat beside her wagging his tail happily while panting. Rufus is part Saint Bernard and part Eastern Timber Wolf.
"We took some blood that was on file in the Veterinarian database to get his DNA then used our regeneration chamber to regenerate him." Aleena said. Alexis smiled and scratched Rufus behind his ears. She turned to Impa.
"We need to get Zelda before the Queening Ceremony tomorrow. We can have the Queening Ceremony here so it can still happen." Alexis said and Impa nodded.
"Yes, that may work. We can hold Zelda's Queening Ceremony here. That will give her better protection." Impa said. A female Sheikah came up to her with a couple of the Rito right behind her. Alexis noticed they must be guards by the way they are dressed.
"Lady Impa, we were wondering why your village has disappeared from view." Said one of the Rito guards.
"That is my doing." Alexis said and explained what she did and why she did it. She explained about mixing her cloaking shield with the Fidelius Charm.
"You mixed magic with technology. That's amazing." Aryn said impressed and Alexis nodded while smiling.
"Impa can go and get Zelda and explain what will happen tomorrow." Alexis said and went back to her workshop. Impa, Aryn, Aleena, and the two Rito followed her.
"And what will you be doing?" Aryn asked. Alexis picked up a gray metal bone out of a bag that was one one of her work tables. She had set down her metal bo staff.
"I will be laying some traps to slow Zant down and reduce his army. I have metal skeleton warriors I can use. I can put them in the ground and have them pop up out of the ground among Zant's army. I can use metal trolls and goblins to surround his army. I can put metal gargoyles in high places throughout the castle to slow him down more. I can use metal Hulks to cover all of the entrances of the castle." Alexis said and pulled up a map display of Hyrule Field and Hyrule castle.
"An excellent strategy." Aryn said and Alexis nodded. Impa vanished with Aryn and a few of both her and Aryn's Sheikah.
"Ok Daisy, I want eight metal trolls and goblins on each side of Zant's army as he gets near the castle. I want another eight metal trolls and goblins in front blocking Zant's army. I want twenty-five metal skeleton warriors to pop up throughout his army. I want metal skeleton archers on top of the walls and metal gargoyles in the rafters. I want six metal gargoyles in the rafters of the throne room. I also want two metal Hulks in the throne room as well. Place two metal Hulks at the other entrances of the castle. Make sure they know who is friendly and who is an enemy," Alexis said and put markers on the digital map of where she wanted them, "Ok Ray, Daisy teleport these those metal warriors to there places." She told them.
"Alright." Daisy said and both AIs sent the metal bones to the locations Alexis stated and marked. Aleena was standing right behind her watching Alexis work. Impa and company came back with Zelda and several officials and a few guards.
"Is this place secure?" Asked one of the guards.
"Yes it is. The village can not be seen by our enemies." Aleena said and Alexis grabbed her leather backpack and put it on. She grabbed the electric bo staff as well as an electric boomerang.
"Where are you going?" Aleena asked.
"I'm a descendant of the first Link and Zelda from the islands in the sky known as Skyloft. I inherited their Triforce pieces as well as the Triforce of Compassion. But they don't look like a normal Triforce." Alexis said and pulled off her fingerless gloves then tossed them on the work table. Zelda and Impa walked over and looked at Alexis' right hand.
"So the middle piece is also a Triforce piece?" Zelda asked curious.
"Yes it is. But that is the Twilight Triforce." Impa said. Alexis thought that would explain why they look weird.
"Now I need to go get my ancestors stuff." Alexis said.
"It has been awhile since I was in Hyrule. Can I come with you?" Aleena said then asked.
Alexis looks at her and nods.
"Ray, Daisy make another hovercycle for Aleena. What color do you want it to be?" Alexis said then asked.
"Blue and white with the Sheikah symbol in white." Aleena said. One minute later a blue and white hovercycle was there. A blue sphere exactly like Navina came out and hovered in front of Aleena.
"I'm Lyra, your AI...fairy." Said a female voice then she went back to her spot in the hovercycle.
"Come on Rufus." Alexis said and a side car came out of her hovercycle. Rufus hopped in the side car and Alexis hooked him into a harness attached to the side car itself. Impa and Aryn were impressed with Alexis.
"Ready, let's go." Alexis said and they slowly made their way down the mountain toward Ordon Springs.
