chapter 1

Claudus Roarson was once a simple man who worked for a company who made tech. He was one of the lower employees and he had a terrible boss who wasn't very kind. He was always degraded and felt like he couldn't succeed.

One day Claudus met someone. Her name was Leona Libner, she was a lovely lioness. He came up to her to talk. "Hello," Claudus said.

"Oh hello," Leona said.

"I'm Claudus Roarson," Claudus said.

"Nice to meet you, I am Leona Libner," she said.

They became fast friends after that. Claudus was hoping to start his own company. He had many thoughts and dreams. He remembered since he was young he had a love for pets and wanted to start a company for it that sold toys, treats, and other supplies even recommending veterinarians and other advice. He wanted it to be for a variety of pets, your basic everyday pets and even the strange kinds of pets. He wanted it to be very special.

Claudus really wanted to have that kind of company. He was still working at the tech company. "I have been doing my best sir," Claudus said.

"You call this your best Claudus?! This is pathetic!" the boss said.

"But Alver, I have been trying so hard, and I have dreams to start my own company just for people to get what they need for their pets and you can order by phone or website and it will arrive right to your door and it will be nationwide via the internet. I know it will be huge success." Claudus said.

"Claudus people won't believe that, that is the dumbest idea I have ever heard! Why would someone have company that does that? There are pet stores every where, you are going to work here and that's all you will ever do, you are not going to be successful otherwise," Alver said.

"You know I had enough of this I quit." Claudus said and stormed out.

Leona saw Claudus come into the coffee shop where she worked and saw him order an ice caramel mocha. He sat down and drank it. "You okay?" Leona asked.

"I quit my job," Claudus said.

"Why?" Leona asked.

"My boss Alver he's not a nice guy, he thinks I have to stay at his business to be successful, and I won't achieve the business that I want to make," Claudus said.

"What a jerk," Leona said.

"I know," Claudus said. "Now I can get work on my goal," he said.

"Good idea," Leona said. "I'll help you out," she said.

Claudus began to work on his business. He was very determined. Leona came by regularly to help him. She helped him save his money for the business. He was working hard. Then they found a warehouse to use and started it to fill it with pet supplies of all kinds. Then he was starting out well. People began to hear about his company and started ordering from it more when the pet stores sometimes didn't have what they were looking for, for their pet or the kind of pet they wanted it.

Claudus' career began to go up and his business was becoming very successful. Now his company was very well known.

Claudus and Leona had fallen in love during that time and Claudus proposed and they were soon married.

A couple of years later. Claudus was getting out of his car. There was a pet charity adoption fair at the mall that day and he was visiting so he could provide the shelters, rescues and adopters with supplies for the pets to go along free after the adoption fee was paid. He saw Alver.

"Claudus, it's been a while, you seem to be doing well," Alver said.

"Yes I run my own company now," Claudus said.

"What is your company called?" Alver asked.

" ," Claudus said.

"You mean that pet supply, and advice company but you were just a simple desk employee." Alver said.

"I was, but now I am here to help out at pet charity adoption fair." Claudus said.

"Claudus," Leona said coming up.

"Hello love," Claudus said and kissed her.

"This your girlfriend?" Alver asked.

"I'm his wife, we were married two and half years ago," Leona said.

"Well I got to say you are pretty successful you thinking about partnering with another company for some more profit?" Alver asked.

"No, I think I should be going now," Claudus said and left with Leona.

Then a few years later Claudus and Leona discovered they were going to have a baby. "This great news, I always wanted to be a father," Claudus said.

"I always wanted to be a mother too," Leona said.

Claudus was at store with his wife whose tummy was now big and round. Shopping for baby stuff. An old friend of Claudus' came in it was Javan, his wife and young son.

"Javan it's been a long time what brings you here?" Claudus asked.

"Not much I saw you in this store and decided to say hi," Javan said. "Do you know what the baby's gender is?" he asked.

"Yes it's a boy," Claudus said.

"Yes and we are really look forward to it," Leona said.

"Our son is going to have everything he needs." Claudus said.

Then on cool Autumn day Claudus and Leona welcomed their son into the world. "Let's name him Lion-o," Leona said.

"Yes Lion-o," Claudus said.

Soon Lion-o started to grow. He was a fine child always following his father around and being a sweet little cub. He got older and became very smart. Lion-o was now a young man. He finished college with honors and was now moving into his own apartment. He packed all his stuff and moved out. "Bye dad, bye mom," Lion-o said.

"Bye son take care of yourself," Claudus said.

"I will see you soon at the business," Lion-o said.

"I sure will," Claudus said.

Lion-o left that day. Then he started to get comfortable in his swanky apartment. "Well this place is nice that is the good news," Lion-o said.

Then about a week later Lion-o woke up bright and early. He got ready and headed off to work. "Hello Lion-o here to start training?" one of the workers asked.

"Yes," Lion-o said.

"Well I remember when you would work here during the summer at different positions in college. Now you are ready to learn for your father's position you are going to do well," the worker said.

"Thanks," Lion-o said.

Lion-o started to learn about what his father did in the company. He looked at papers, called people into his office, talked to the employees, set up meetings, gave the employees assignments, ordered supplies for the company dealt with customers complaints, checked reviews, answered business calls, and made sure everything ran like clockwork. It seemed really difficult.

But Lion-o was up for the challenge. Soon his life would change in many ways.

To be continued.
