AN: This is a complete crack fic and was largely inspired by Through the Drinking Glass: Isekai wa Rudeby to Tomo ni written by Mallobaude

I'll be honest I don't really think I can pull this story off the same way the other author pulls off their story, but that's kind of what makes the challenge fun. I highly recommend the other author though so go check out that other story if you haven't.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy this short little start. I'll be updating my other stuff soon.

Chapter 1: Universe 115

Jaune took a large breath as he felt himself return home.

His home had many names: Otherworld, Afterlife, The Great Beyond. But to Jaune this was just home.

He was currently in the what some people called might call "Limbo." It served as the check in station for all the souls coming from the mortal realm and waiting to be sent to their various afterlives or reincarnations. Hell, some of them would be going back as themselves, but in a different universe. An alternate universe if you will.

Jaune knew he was special though, and even though he was just one Jaune in a infinite sea of Jaune's he knew the Jaune itself was special compared to all other humans or faunus or anything else that lurked in the many universes because there was no other being that had become a God like him. Now granted he was the only Jaune to do this himself and it was with the help of both the God of Light and the God of Darkness.

You see this Jaune was created with the essence of both the Light and Dark. Their final attempt at something special. He was essentially the son of the two Gods and possessed a bit of each of their powers. Ever since he was created, he sent to one universe after another to experience it. To gain experience with different situations so when the time came for him to take over as the reigning deity, he would be more prepared. It honestly wouldn't have surprised him if the twin Gods just got bored one day and randomly left to go create another new universe or even a new multiverse with a new afterlife. It was all really mind boggling for the mortals Jaune knew.

Jaune walked up to the reception desk and a familiar angel greeted him.

"Nice to see you again Jaune. You were only gone a couple years on that one."

"Thanks, Castiel. It turned out that universe was pretty simple since that Jaune was overpowered as fuck. Didn't take long to solve its problems and what not." The blonde shrugged.

"Did you go the harem route?" The trenchcoated angel asked.

"Yep. But Blake was my main that time."

"How many times does that make it? I think last time I checked you romanced Blake in 987,666,543 of the known universes. As for the harem though… I honestly will have to go check the score sheet again on that one." The angel responded shuffling through a briefcase he was carrying with him.

"Well you can get back to me on that score after I get done with the next mission. Like you said that last run was pretty short, so I just want to get another universe down before taking a break again." The blonde smiled. It wasn't like the Gods had expected him back for another few years or so anyway and as such Jaune didn't really feel the need to stop in and say hello. He liked the idea of trying to surprise them with getting two done in the span of one better.

Castiel nodded. "I respect your work ethic." The angel pulled out a document before laughing briefly. "Oh boy. This universe is a doozy. Want it to be a surprise or should I brief you?"

"Surprise. I mean I'll get the Jaune I take overs memories, so it won't be a surprise for long anyway."

The angel nodded. "Alright. Well, you know the way to the Jaune room. I got to get going since Sam and Dean need my help again. See you next time around."

"Yeah, let me know how that goes. You're the Castiel from universe 398,771, right?" The blond inquired

"Yep. The only one who knows the real significance of the multiverse and to be in the employ of the Twin Gods. Although they aren't super different from Chuck and Amara."

Jaune nodded. It sounded fascinating and he hopped Castiel got through whatever problems his side of the universe was going through. "See you later Castiel."

"Take care Jaune."

The two parted ways and Jaune made his way to the Jaune room.

The room was just a large hallway as far as the eye could see and then some with doors leading to the many universe Jaune dwelt in. All in numerical order, of course. Jaune hopped onto the motor scooter that was nicely parked by the entrance. Thankfully its engine could go just over the speed of light otherwise it would take him at least five or six years of just walking or flying to get to the door he was looking for. Depending on the number of course.

"So, I'm looking for door 115. At least it's close, but I'll still take the scooter." He sighed, putting on the helmet and starting up the motor scooter. Jaune was really thankful Castiel was kind enough to make sure the scooter was always parked by the entrance upon Jaune's return and always left a piece of paper telling him what number to look for.

The scooter zoomed ahead at faster than light speed and the trip took almost no time at all. He didn't even have to actually drive the scooter since all he had to do was type his desired universes number into a keypad attacked to it and the scooter would bring him to the door.

Disembarking he left a note saying thank you on the back of the piece of paper before parking it by the door and opening it. With a sigh, he jumped into the vortex that was just beyond the doorway.

"Here I go again!"

The synchronization was never perfect right away and Jaune knew it could take some time before he had all of this Jaune's memories, but from what he had gotten when fusing with this worlds Jaune wasn't good.

In the black emptiness Jaune could feel himself merging with the resident universes Jaune.

He was in one of those weird universes…

This worlds Jaune and his friends were vastly different from what he was used to, and he hated the rare chance this type of universe was picked.

But just because it was a crappy weird one didn't make it hard though. In fact, he would argue this was a relatively easy one to change. Especially with his powers, but the question remained was the best way to go about it…

Jaune could feel the merging process was nearing completion and he would soon be opening his eyes to a very different experience.

Jaune felt his eyes open. His head hurt like it often did when he first fused and much to his dismay much of the memories of this world were still hazy and incomplete. Still he had a firm grasp he though on this world.

"Wake up pet. Class will be starting soon, and I don't need you making our team late just because you overdosed again."

Jaune stared at his redheaded partner. The girl who normally had a kind smile on her face had an annoyed look on her face. And the fact the fact that she regarded him as a pet was concerning. Along with the apparent overdose part, of course…

"Right…"

He got out of bed and went to the bathroom to shower and get changed into his school clothes.

Looking at himself in the mirror initially he noticed light bags under his eyes, and he washed the remaining white powder residue from under his nose.

"Oh, Gods… What the fuck was this Jaune thinking? Fuck!" He said, disgusted.

As he got into the shower, he realized the monumental social challenge that was lay ahead was going to be unpleasant. But if he could just ride things out until Cinder attacked Beacon, used his powers to kill and got an early clear he could hopefully be on to the next universe before he knew it.

Getting three universes done for the timespan of one would be a real treat. He didn't always start back at Beacon so when he did, he enjoyed being able to coast through it. Normally he would attempt to romance once of his close friends or someone outside of his social group for fun at this point, but he had little desire for that now.

"Maybe I could track down Cinder and take her out even earlier…" He muttered as he put on his school uniform and left the bathroom.

"About time pet. Ren and Nora already went down to the cafeteria." Pyrrha informed him.

Jaune raised his eyebrow. "I have a name you know."

She smiled as the two made their way down to the cafeteria. "You do indeed. It's pet."

He waited for her to turn her back on him as she walked a few feet in front him for him to roll his eyes.

Entering the cafeteria, he had seen no doubt millions of times now he quietly got some cereal and milk for breakfast before he followed his partner to their friend groups table.

"Where is everyone?" Jaune asked as he sat down next to his team. Ren was eating quietly like he normally did while Nora was practically engulfing her food…Like she normally did. It was just Ruby at the table.

"Blake's out getting some explosives, Yang is still asleep, and Weiss is out shopping to go to the club tonight." Ruby explained.

Jaune blinked. "Um, What?"

Only one of those things was believable. Another was plausible, but Weiss never skipped class for shopping. The first sounded very concerning.

Ruby herself looked a bit different than he remembered. She completely a bit taller for one and her breath smelt of tobacco. Of course, jumping from universe to universe it wasn't uncommon for his friends ages to differ slightly, but the tobacco part with Ruby was completely new.

A large explosion echoed from across the building followed by confused screams.

"Holy shit!" The unexpected loud noise had scared Jaune shitless.

"Looks like Blake got her bombs." Nora muttered as two more loud explosions rang out.

"Okay, what the fuck is going?!" Jaune asked.

"A normal Friday?" Ren explained. "You must have really overdosed last night if you're acting this surprised by it."

"Speaking of overdosing…You got mine, right?" Ruby inquired. "I got the money…Or I can pay you the usual way."

"The usual?"

Ruby grinned. "Yeah. Me sucking you off. Duh!"

Jaune paled. He was almost hopping he never got those memories from this Jaune.

"That's obviously not going to happen. Stop touching my pet you skank." Pyrrha growled.

"If I want to suck off my dealer then that's my business. Not like you touched him recently." Ruby remarked.

And just like that Jaune had already lost what little appetite he had. He had never seen things this type of fucked in all the multiverse. He already missed the normal starts, he had. Being overpowered already by the time of initiation or being the classic underdog that rose to beat the big baddy at the end. Or even the more middle ground ones that he started after Beacon was over.

"Jaune's the perfect sub. It's much more fun to make him beg and serve me. I don't expect an alcoholic like you to understand." Pyrrha seethed.

"Hey! Jaune knows how to fuck like a champ so that's your lose. Look I don't really care what you do to him, just don't get in the way of my fixes is all I'm asking." Ruby sighed.

Another explosion rang out in the distance.

"Okay, what the fuck!?" Jaune cursed. As much as he would like to address the shit they were saying these explosions were getting annoying.

"She's a fucking terrorist. What do you expect Jaune?!" Both girls turned on him suddenly.

"We certainly don't keep Jaune around for his brains. That much we can agree on." Ruby admitted.

"I know…It's almost like he forgets Blake got kicked out of the White Fang for her violent tendencies." Pyrrha sighed.

"And none of the teachers are doing anything about this?!"

"They are way too lazy for that. Especially Ozpin. That fucker is still stuck on trying to figure out how to do laundry." Ruby explained.

What!? Just what weird, bizarre universe was this? It's so much worse that he initially thought, no wonder Castiel had laughed… That fucker. Did that also mean the White Fang weren't bad guys in this world? He hated not knowing and it definitely wasn't something he was used to. It must be all the weird hardcore drugs this Jaune did that was making him not remember so much.

Hearing Ruby curse so openly and talk so vulgar was also not very common. She was usually so innocent until they got to Atlas in most universes. If not for even longer.

"Blake reached her limit anyway. The teachers really were going to throw Blake out if she went over her six-bomb limit for the week." Ren explained.

"What kind of logic is that?" Jaune asked even more confused.

"I mean…They did let a terrorist become a student. What did you expect? Common Jaunny happens every week. Use that head of yours." Nora smiled as she finished her food.

"You're talking way too much anyway pet." Pyrrha grabbed him roughly as he was about to stand up and leave. "You don't get to leave without me."

"Easy with the merchandise Pyrrha." Ruby scolded. "If you keep knocking him around like a rag doll he might break."

Jaune's eye twitched.

This cunt.

"Pyrrha…" Jaune turned to face his partner.

"What?" She snapped.

"If you ever touch me like that again…You're going to regret it." He muttered.

Pyrrha frowned. Before smacking him hard upside the head. "You dumb shit. I don't know what that OD did to you to make you think you can talk to me that way, but it looks like I have to break you in again."

Again? What did she do to this old Jaune?

Anger rose within him and a strange need to avenge the treatment of his fellow Jaune swelled within. His eyes turned a dark black as he allowed the power of the dark God to flow through him.

"No. You won't" was all he said before smacking Pyrrha across head and sending her flying across the lunchroom with a dark flash of energy.

The entire lunchroom had gone silent and Ruby joined her fellow classmates turning to Jaune in shock.

Pyrrha grumbled as she slowly started to rise.

I'm so fucking turned on right now.

Ruby couldn't believe Jaune had just sent Pyrrha flying like that. She had always hoped Jaune would stand up for himself someday, but damn she hadn't expected that. It made her hotter than hot chocolate on a cold winter day.

Where did he learn that? Why didn't he do that sooner? It was rather confusing, but still hot.

"Holy crap Jaune." Ruby smiled and grabbed his hand. "Let's ditch class and go back to my dorm. I need you now."

"Don't fucking touch me." he pulled his hand away from her before jumping onto the lunch table for everyone to see. "Starting from this moment. There are going to be some changes around here."

Ruby had never thought she would see Jaune retaliate against Pyrrha let alone one so assertive like this. She had never expected a dominate Jaune…But now she realized she needed a dominate Jaune.

Is this what love feels like?

Jaune in a million years and a million universes had never expected to ever backhand one of his friends. But he was pretty sure Pyrrha deserved it at this point and was strong enough to take it. The thought of what the others must have done to this Jaune infuriated him and he was starting to wonder if some of the memories he had gotten were repressed.

Well no longer!

This new Jaune was a forge of the Gods! And he wasn't going to take any more shit from a possessive bitch and a cracked-up junkie in the form of two of his closest friends.

Nora whistled. "Not bad Jaune, but you're going to be in for it once Pyrrha recovers."

"She can try." Jaune replied before jumping off the table. "If she wants to face me, I'll be relaxing in the courtyard. I want to get the fuck out of this school as soon as possible in case Blake decided to blow any more of it up."

And with that he walked out of the lunchroom.

The God of Light hummed to himself cheerfully as he read through the files Castiel had dropped off to him. They were all just basic highlights of things going on in the multiverse and things seemed rather interesting until he found Jaune's document.

He stopped humming.

"115? Oh no…."

It looked like it was his brother the God of Darkness who decided for Jaune to be sent to 115. Was his brother insane? No…Probably just bored.

Universe 115 was one of those universes the God would have just preferred to completely forget about and not have Jaune go to.

"Well it's too late to change it now." The God of Light shrugged before resuming his cheerful humming and continued to read through the documents.

"Oh? Universe 889 is completely on fire! That's awesome!" The light God cheered.
