Chaos

The civilians where running around, pushing each other not minding if they hurt someone. Shinobi and kunoichi alike where fighting and helping the people to reach a safer place. But there's no way out.

Screams

Old, young, female and male, everyone was screaming out of pain, fear and anger. They are crying for help, the shinobi were doing their best to give aid to every single one of them. But even them are screaming, crying and hurting, but no one heard, no one saw and no one cared. It's their job to save everyone. No one will come to save them.

Fire

Their once peaceful home is now clouded by the black smoke that kills everyone who was unfortunate to be trapped in places. They needed someone to stop the fire from spreading, but as the fire burned their houses, their hopes are turning into ashes.

Blood

The smell of iron reached their noses, as they hold their family close to their chest, swimming on the pool of red unrecognizable and dead. Everyone was losing hope as they cradle their love ones close to their heart, wondering who was next to swim in their own blood and the shinobis forgetting the difference between a water and blood.

Death

An ending that everyone will meet, be it unwillingly or not. The population of their village goes down and the bloody moon is the witness of their fall.

What used to be the resounding laughter of the people is now a deafening cry for help. The kids, who were used to be running away from each other playfully, are now running away from death itself. Crying, bruised and obviously traumatized from what they've experience, and some are probably forever scarred from witnessing the death of their own family and friends.

What once a peaceful humble village, is now a place of hell.

Run! Save them! Save your village, your friends, save your family!

Out of breath but still running, my lungs are begging me to stop and take a deep breath. My usually shiny and smooth hair is now unruly and damp from the sweat that is excessively pouring out of my scalp.

I was out on a mission and was slated to be out for a month and it has only been five days for Pete's sake. My whole body is telling me to give it some time to cool off. But I can't! Every second that passes, a life goes along with it.

I knew it, something was wrong from the very beginning. I shouldn't have left; I should've followed my damn instinct and stay.

"Fuck this." I mumbled under my breath.

"Hikari calm down, we're close to the village. Everything will be alright." The raven eyed girl looked to the owner of the voice with disbelief and anger. She was about to throw an angry comment until she noticed that the said person is donning a distressed and worried expression. His face and the clenching of his fists contradicting what he just said; he was obviously panicking but is trying to calm himself.

She looked down, ashamed of her action. She is a shinobi goddamn it, she has to control herself. The only thing that she has to do now is to run with all her might.

"I don't know. I can't help it. Everyone that I love is in danger. What if they're hurt or worst, dea-" Hikari cut her words, panicking more at the thought of death, the blood of her famil-. No! She shook her head trying to get rid of her dark thoughts.

She looked forward and saw the black smoke coming out from their village, she flinched.

Hikaru, knowing what she was about to say frowned. He can't help but to feel like he has to brace himself from what they are about to witness once they step foot on their village.

"I know, but we have to believe in them." That's the only thing that we can do for now and I hope none of them are out cold yet, was left unsaid.

Clenching his fist tightly, he kept on saying on his head; please be safe; please stay alive like a mantra.

Tired and drained. But their adrenaline is at its full engine and the only thing that is coming to their mind is to reach their home immediately and to help in saving everyone.

Just a little bit more. Okaasan, otou-sama, nii-sama, please be safe.
