"Deku!" My eyes widened as I saw Uraraka was getting cornered by three villains. Without thinking my feet were running towards her. Pushing off the ground I summoned Fulling Cowling and knocked the closest villain into the stone wall. Making sure to land two more punches knocking him in unconsious. I started to turn around and a giant hand grabbed my torso, squeezing my body. I screamed as I felt my l ribs cracking from inside my chest. A scorching pain shot down my chest. I felt my body tense up as I tried to breathe. The hand threw me on the ground. Hitting the ground I gasped for air and dirt flew into my this several times my vision started to blur. Looking up I saw the hand coming down to finish what he started. I'm sorry mom. I thought to myself, I never wanted to die like this. Slamming my eyes shut I braced myself for the last moments of my life. I heard a roaring sound and opened my eyes. A giant Ice shield flew up around the villain, completely encasing him from head to toe. What's going on? Who..? My eyes shifted and I saw him. Todoroki. I tried to breathe and I started hyperventilating. I couldn't breathe.

"Midoriya, I've got you. You're okay" I could hear the urgency in his voice. Seeing something moving behind him I tried to scream. Todoroki flew around and using his fire blasted the villain across the room. My eyes started to flicker, I couldnt breath. I saw Todoroki looking at me and I heard his voice. "You're okay Midoriya. I promise I'll protect you. Your oka-" Everything went dark.

I winced with pain as I slowly opened my eyes. I squinted as my eyes tried to adjust itself to the brightness. What happened? Where am I? Thinking back to the last thing that he remembered was the class going to the USJ. THE ATTACK. My eyes flew open and I tried to get up. Gasping at the pain in my stomach, I felt something in my face.

"Izuku! You're okay honey! You're okay! We're at the hospital. Calm down baby you're safe now!" My eyes zeroed in on the voice in front of me. It was my mom. Her eyes were red and puffy, you could tell she'd be crying a lot. My heart dropped. She must have been terrified.

"Mom." I cried out and she dropped her arms around me. It hurt my body, but it made me feel so much better. I didn't die. I didn't leave her alone. gasping I realized how much pain I was in from moving, and a couple doctors rushed in. My eyes started to close as pain started to fade. I saw a pair of heterochromic eyes staring back at me. Todoroki. You stayed.

When I woke up the next day my eyes scanned the room and Todoroki was gone. Guess he just wanted to make sure I was alive. I muttered to myself.

I spent the next six hospital. Recovery Girl spent several days coming and trying to put me back together. Repairing my lungs, broken ribs and my entire body was covered in bruises. My body ached, and it still hurt to breathe deeply but I was able to move around. They finally went home and mom helped me into bed. Adding a few extra pillows made it much more comfortable for me to lay down. I was still under a lot of the medication from the hospital that has yet to wear off. I decided to try and get some rest as it's the first night I won't be woken up every few hours to get medication. Closing my eyes I tried desperately to get to sleep, I took one of the medications from the hospital to help the pain, and it also helped my panics.

Looking ahead of me I saw a swarm of villains coming at me. I was knocked on the ground. I could feel all their eyes on me. I could breathe. I heard bones cracking, and felt the blood spew from my mouth. I screamed, and kicked my legs and tried to keep fighting.

"Izuku! Izuku you're home! Honey you're okay!" I was panting and the room was spinning. It took a couple seconds for my sight to come back realized his mom was in front of Me. I winced as I took a deep breath, trying to get air into my lungs. I feel forward into my mom's lap hugging her close.

"How can I help honey?" His mom whispered to him. He pointed to his bottle of medication, and she handed him one. The cold water felt good as it passed his sore throat as he swallowed his pill. Laying down I put my head on her lap. She was stroking my hair, and the sensation calmed my mind. Taking deep breaths I nodded back asleep.

The next couple nights I decided to double up on my medication to try and help me get through the night. I hadn't been waking up during the night anymore. Mom was always asleep next to me when I woke up, her presence seemed to help keep calm. We got a letter in the mail stating that all UA hero students must move into dormitories for the safety of the students, and ease of the staff. Mom went a little crazy and I know she had been talking to All Might to see if they could make an exception so I could stay home. Unfortunately that wasn't an option. She reluctantly gave in to my pleas, and helped me pack my stuff. The day I went back to school I made sure to take an extra pill. I knew it was going to be a long day catching up with work, friends, and unpacking my dorm. Giving me a last hug she dropped me off at the front of the school.

"Midoria!" I turned my head to see Iida, and Uraraka running up to me. My lips pulled into giant smiles as I saw my friends.

"Hey guys! What up- whoa!" I stumbled as Uraraka jumped into my arms. Tensing as her grip pulled on my bruised frame. I stood there awkwardly as I realized how close she was to me.

"Uraraka release Midoriya at once! You're hurting him!" Iida yelled at the girl and she took a step back.

"I'm so sorry Deku. Are you okay? Have you gone to your dorm yet? That's crazy isn't it? All of us are staying here now! I'm so excited though!" Uraraka's smile lit up her entire face and excitement radiated off her. Iida mentioned the time and escorted us to our class room. It had been almost two weeks since I'd been back at school and it was great to be back.

Mr. Aizawa was standing in the front of the room and made an announcement not to swarm me and get to work. I found Todoroki i sitting in his usual seat, he glanced up at me and leaned his head back down with no acknowledgement. Taking my seat I decided to clear my mind and work on my research project. We got to pick a Pro to look up, and of Course I chose All Might. After an hour or so Mr. Aizawa called for our attention about our dorm rooms. We were getting roommates. After what felt like an eternity I finally got my paper with my room assignment. 3rd floor, 301.. My mouth dropped open when I saw my roommate's name. Shoto Todoroki. Slowly turning around I found him looking at me. He didn't look pleased.-
