.* Brick wants Blossom to be his but he's terrible at picking up women for other than a good time. watch as he attempts to woo the powerful leader*
Brick was good at many things... He excelled at school, in a fight, musically and anything else he could think of. There was one thing that he was absolutely horrible at, it wasn't academic, it wasn't physical... Hell it wasn't even anything to do with school in general. He was terrible when it came to dating people he actually liked. And there was one person he currently did like... A lot, he tried to get her attention... But he was absolutely hopeless.
"Christ Brick that's the fourth metal fork you've snapped this week!" Butch looked at his brother with concern on his face. "I think I has something to do with a certain problem... And a certain puff..." Boomer said earning a glare from Brick. "Dude just ask her already!" Butch said laughing. "I don't do... asking girls out well... I don't even know what to say!" Brick glared at his plate of food.
"Dude it's easy... Just say "Blossom, I'm interested in a relationship with you..." or ask her on a date!" Butch was dumbfounded. His brother was incredibly smart, attractive... But he absolutely sucked at anything to do with dating. "I tried that and just froze in place, word shat like an idiot and then I walked away with her giving the most confused look known to man..." Brick sighed.
"She'll like you idiot, just try to ask her again! Hell I'll be your wingman if you need..." Butch chuckled and Brick raised a brow. "Dude you'd be a horrible wing man..." He said rolling his eyes. "Guarantee that I'd be a hell of a lot more successful at getting a date than you!" Butch said and smirked at something. " What?" Brick asked him suspiciously. He turned Brick to look, and Brick began to PANIC!
Buttercup, Bubbles and Blossom were walking to their table. He instantly lost his voice and went completely silent, like every single time he saw her. "Hey guys!" Blossom smiled and sat next to him. He just waved and began to fidget in his seat. The puffs and the ruffs started to get along in high school, finally seeing each other as equals instead of enemies. His attraction for his counterpart came out of nowhere two years ago and he has only gotten worse with it. When Buttercup sat down, Butch looked at Brick and grinned. What was he gonna do?
"Yo... Buttercup... wanna go on a movie date tomorrow?" Butch asked her and the green puff just shrugged before saying "Sure" and Brick just gaped at him. How was that bastard so confident with asking her that? Bubbles sat next to Boomer who nuzzled his girl while she giggled happily. Even Boomer was better at this!
"Brick are you alright? You are moving more than the energizer bunny..." Butch asked him while holding back laughter. "Shut up..." He murmured. "Sorry I couldn't hear that?" Butch grinned at him and now he felt his hot headed temper rise. "I said shut up..." Brick said with a growl. "Are you okay Brick?" Blossom now asked him and his brain fizzled. "Yes..." He said feeling his voice come out more forced. "You've been acting strange lately... Last week you randomly walked up to me and told me that dolphins liked to chew on puffer fish and ran off without another word..." Blossom said with a head tilt in confusion.
Boomer and Butch bust out in laughter. Blossom's eyes widened, she wondered why they were laughing at him. "Dude!" Butch had tears streaming down his face from laughing. "Shut up dicks!" Brick blushed before getting up and walking away. He didn't notice that Blossom followed him to make sure he was okay.
He walked outside the school and repeatedly hit his forehead off of the brick wall. She stared at him for a few minutes and watched him faceplant into the ground before sighing hard. "Brick?" She asked cautiously, carefully coming closer. "Ahhh..." Was his only response. "Do you want to talk about it?" Blossom said scooting a little closer kneeling next to him. "No..." He sounded embarrassed. "I'm starting to become concerned..." Blossom said and he only buried his face into the grass.
She didn't realize that she was the issue here, she flustered the normally confident ruff so much that he just couldn't fiction properly. She put her hand on him and he froze, she was incredibly gentle but it felt like her hand was the weight of a car. "Maybe we can hang out tonight so I can help you feel better..." Blossom said with a tender voice. He didn't answer, she just saw his ears go red. "Okay... you're meeting me later and I'm going to help you feel more like yourself..." Blossom said with a more assertive voice. He was still silent as the redness grew darker.
When he finally got the courage to remove his face from the ground he looked at her with his face still bright red. He didn't know why properly asking someone out was so hard for him. If he was asking a random chick for sex he'd do it without a sweat. However, this wasn't just a random chick... This was Blossom and he was not just interested in sex. For the first time in his life he was the one asking for this, because this girl right now was clueless to the obvious.
He thought the way he was acting just screamed "I like you Blossom" but the pink puff just still friendzoned him. He really wanted her to be his girl, but every time he tried to say something it was like someone ran over his tongue with a lawnmower. When he got to class because Blossom literally dragged him, Butch handed him a book and Brick looked at the title and glared daggers at him.
The book was Dating For Dummies and Brick just walked by and whacked him with it. Butch again was holding back laughter and Brick only got more pissed off, spewing more profanities under his breath during the last few classes of the day. He still had to go on his forced outtingwith Blossom and he was gonna make the most of it.
Later that afternoon Brick waited outside the school he looked around and pulled out the cursed book and read a page or two, what the fuck was this advice? He was terrible at this but this book took the cake!
"Brick what are you reading?" Blossom asked walking up to him. Without thinking he panicked threw the book across the school yard. "uhh... why did you throw it?" Blossom was now giggling at him. "It was useless junk..." He said and he wasn't wrong, that crap was worse with dating than himself. "Well I'm here for a reason so come on!" He was dragged by the pink puff towards a location, he didn't pay attention. When they got there he looked up, finally having the ability to speak. "The arcade?" He still sounded off, but at least he was trying to speak.
"Yes! We're going to play games and have fun!" Blossom said taking his hand a bringing him inside the arcade.
.*Ch 2 will be what happens at the arcade!*
