Luffy, the captain
A man with a dream to bask
in endless freedom
Zoro, the swordsman
To overcome the greatest
is his only wish
Nami, course setter
All the world she desires
on her vast canvas
Usopp, the Sogeking
Liar and lover of all
that is brave and strong
Sanji, the ship cook
Also a lover, and a
seeker of passion
Chopper, the doctor
To heal and cure all, and to
blossom with knowledge
Robin, the reader
Of ancient pasts, dark futures,
and the cold void of
Franky, shipbuilder
To weather the storm, and to
bring dreams to dreamers
Brook, the musician
To return to an old friend
and play the old song
Jinbe, the helmsman
To bring those together, that
bleed the same color
Vivi, lost to sands
But never forgotten, to
always be cherished
Eleven they are
Perhaps more to come, and more
to love, forever
For within their hearts lies the dreams and the bonds of a family, a crew, a name, a code.
