I am the Dark Type Ace, or DT-Ace for short. I love dark types, from my first starter pokemon that I ever completed a game with, and my first level 100 pokemon, Greninja, to my second favorite starter and pokemon of all time, Incineroar, to legendaries and mythicals, like Yveltal and Darkrai, and to the other well known pokemon, like Sableye, Houndoom, and Tyranitar. There's a small list of dark types I generally don't like, made up of pokemon like Liepard and Morpeko, who, for one reason or another, have generally annoyed me to where I find them unlikable. Nonetheless, I love next to all dark-type pokemon, so it should come to no surprise that I decided to do a playthrough with a team of all dark types.
After my first two playthroughs of Pokemon Shield (and failing a Nuzlocke), and the release of Pokemon Home, I decided to start my adventure of dark types. I created a new profile for my save game, titled "Ace", and opened up Pokemon Shield. Not to that account, though. I opened it to my first ever save game to obtain my six dark types I would carry with me throughout my journey. After catching the six, who I'll describe later on, I saved and switched to my Ace profile. Right off the bat, or, more accurately, after I had named myself DT-Ace, watched a ridiculously long video introducing me to the world of pokemon, listened to Hop ramble on to me to go to his house after breaking into my own (how did he get in?) and grabbing my bag, I saved and left for Pokemon Home. Immediately, I transferred all six dark-type pokemon from my first account to my Pokemon Home box. But before I could get them to my new profile, I needed the Pokedex. And if you've never played Pokemon Sword and/or Pokemon Shield, or even watched playthroughs of them, then you wouldn't know how LONG and TEDIOUS getting to Sonia's laboratory is. Nonetheless, after getting my starter (a Scorbunny I nicknamed Hellfire), beating up Hop's party of two, meeting a ghostly Zamazenta in the Slumbering Weald, and getting my allowance from mom, I got to Sonia's lab and obtained the Pokedex. That's when the fun began, as I saved, hopped into Pokemon Home, and sent all six pokemon from the box into my new game. After returning, I got my introduction to the Pokemon Center from Hop, healed up Hellfire, and tossed him in a box, replacing him with the six dark types.
Oh, and one more thing I should mention. All six pokemon are level 60 to level 65.
This is gonna be fun. ;)
