Arthur Weasley's birthday was coming up, and Harry Potter, who had come into the family 7 years ago, by marrying Ginny, had the best idea for a birthday present/day out.

It was common knowledge in the Weasley family, that Arthur's secret ambition was to work out how Muggle aeroplanes stayed up in the air, when they had no magic, or spells to help them do so.

So after exchanging a handful of Wizard Money into Muggle Money, and blindfolding the man who was dressed as a Muggle under Harry's orders, the boy and the man side-along-disparated to the location close to their destination.

"Are you ok Arthur?" Harry asked getting his balance back himself.

"Yes of course Harry, but I do hope to take this blind fold off soon" he said looking around and listening, trying to work out where they were.

"You can soon, come on?" Harry said taking his hand and leading them down and across the road a little up to a large building and in through the doors. "Ok, you can remove it now."

Slowly Arthur removed the blindfold and gasped in amazement as he saw where the sign above the welcome desk said they were.

Yorkshire Air Museum

Looking around Arthur saw models, and planes, and Muggle photographs, and information.

Leaving him to get excited, Harry went to the desk to buy tickets for entry and an information guide.

"So, Arthur, where do you want to go first?" he asked leading the man down the corridor the way the arrows pointed.

That night at the Burrow, as the family were all having cake, Arthur was telling them everything he learnt about planes that day.

How, 2 Muggle men called Orville and Wilbur Wright were two Americans who invented, built, and flew the world's first successful motor-operated airplane.

How the wings determined if it went up or down, and the tail determined it went left or right.

How different aeroplanes have different speeds, and different lengths of time for being up in the air.

And how huge planes called 'Jets' took loads of people to different countries by flying them there on things called 'Flight-Paths'.

He was still going on about it and showing everyone the pictures Harry took with a 'digital camera' and all the things he brought in the gift shop when Ron let out a big yawn, and Molly said it was time for bed.

"But... But Molly dear, there's still so much more to explain." Arthur said looking for an example and finding the page about the Spitfires in the book "Like these planes, for example..."

"Dad, if you want to be up early tomorrow for the second half of your birthday present, I think it's best we all go to bed now," Ginny said getting up and stretching as she took her and George's plate to the kitchen.

"The second half of my birthday present?" Arthur asked confused and looked around the room.

"That's right," Charlie said nodding "Today was to get you the basic knowledge of how planes work, so you won't freak out and ask too many questions to the Muggle pilot who will be taking you up in the air tomorrow for a short flight around Britain."

"W-What really?" he said eyes wide "But how? Who... Who is paying for this?"

Everyone looked at Harry, who was over by the sink doing the dishes.

"Harry?" he asked setting the things from the museum down and coming to hug the boy "Oh thank you, this has been the best birthday I can remember."

"You're welcome." Harry said smiling "Happy birthday Arthur Weasley."
