Sakura & Sasuke's wedding

Chapter 1

*Sakura POV*

Today was a special day for Sakura Haruno, it was her wedding day. Sakura stood staring in the mirror at herself. She almost didn't recognize her own reflection. The woman staring back at her had her powder pink hair up with curls that flowed down just passed her shoulders and a red flower nestled in by her ear. A stunning white strapless lace dress that flowed down her body like a mermaid. Her makeup highlighted her seafoam green eyes with cherry red lips to go with it.

"wow Sakura you look amazing!"

Ino Hinata and Temari had just walked in, all of them in red floor length bridesmaid dresses. Ino of course was the maid of honor and helped Sakura through the planning and stress of a wedding. It was the day Sakura had been waiting for since she was a little girl after all. Today Sakura would finally be marrying Sasuke. It was a long hard road for them both but after Sasukes return to the village he had finally decided that he did want a family. Not just to continue his blood line but he found that he cared for Sakura in a way he had never expected. He wanted her safe and happy especially after all she and Naruto had done for him throughout the years.

"thank you" Sakura blushed still staring at her reflection.

Sakura turned away and looked at her friends trying not to let the tears come. This was the happiest day of her life by far. Ino started tearing up slightly and took Sakura into a tight hug.

"you deserve this Sakura, it's time for you to start your life and be happy"

Sakura hugged Ino back just as tightly. Ino had married Sai just over a year ago and Sakura had never seen her happier. They really do make a good couple Sakura thought. Just then Hinata and Temari joined the hug. They held on tight for a couple seconds then released.

"Are you almost ready Sakura? We have about 5 minutes before its time to walk" Hinata said

Sakura took a deep breath; this is what she's been wanting for so long and ready for so why was she so nervous? She smiled looking at her best friends.

"just about"

Just then they heard a knock at the door and Ino opened it. Kakashi stood in a black tuxedo with a red flower in the pocket at the door. Sakura's mother and father had been killed bye low rank robbers trying to protect the family shop a couple years back. They had been caught and currently are serving life sentences. It took Sakura a long time to get back to normal after it happened. Thanks to all her friends she was able to go on with a smile on her face. She even had Kakashi to walk her down the isle.

"wow Sakura, you clean up nice" Kakashi said

Sakura could tell he was smiling behind his mask from the crinkle in his eye.

"thank you Kakashi sensei" Sakura smiled back at him

Ino Hinata and Temari gave Sakura another reassuring smile before heading towards the door.

"we are going to find the guys and get ready to walk" Ino said.

Kakashi held out his arm to Sakura. She looped hers in with his and he smiled down at her.

"I'm glad you both have finally found happiness"

Sakura looked up at him, the tears had finally come to the surface. Kakashi used his free hand to wipe them away before they had a chance to fall.

"hey now no tears today. I'm honored to be able to walk you down the aisle Sakura"

Sakura had to look away or she would have burst into tears by his words. Kakashi gave her a reassuring nudge and they began to walk. Thank goodness Kakashi had come to the room to walk her. Sakuras legs felt like jelly, Kakashi was her only way of successfully walking at this point. They came to a halt which brought Sakura out of her daze. She looked up to see Ino and Sai at the front of the line followed by Hinata and Naruto then Temari and Shikamaru lastly of course her and Kakashi. Music began to play, Sakura watched Ino and Sai start walking then turning a corner that lead to the isle Sakura would be walking down in just a couple moments. Kakashi squeezed Sakuras arm a bit to try to her put her at ease. Sakura watched the other two couples walk away from her then suddenly her legs were moving. Sakura took one last deep breath before turning the corner.

The sight before her made her heart skip a beat. All the people she loved had been able to make it from all the villages. Everyone stood when Sakura and Kakashi appeared. They all smiled at her some with tears in their eyes. Sakura and Kakashi walked slowly down the isle. Sakura's eyes finally landed to the end of the isle where Sasuke stood. He stood by Naruto and the rest of the bridal party; they were all under a huge Sakura tree that was in full bloom. He had on a sharp black tuxedo with his red flower in the pocket like the other groomsmen. His hair was down in front of his eye as usual, but he had a slight smile on his face.

If Kakashi didn't have such a good grip on Sakuras arm she would have jumped him right then and there. They finally reached the end of the isle and Kakashi handed Sakura off to Sasuke. She stood in front of him, both staring into the other one's eyes. They turned towards Tsunade who would be the one to wed them. She smiled at them both and began the ceremony.

The crowd erupted in applause after they had both said, "I do" and gave a sweet simple kiss. They both had a pink tint on their faces when they turned to all their friends. Everyone hooted and Hollard as they walked down the isle together hands laced in each other. Sasuke gave Sakuras hand a small squeeze and looked down at her with a genuine smile.

"This is our new beginning, Wife"
