A bright light flashed across the night sky.
I gave you up so that monster couldn't ever reach you.
A large dark brown tabby stalked into the undergrowth, tail lashing in agitation.
But I was wrong.
The orange tom nuzzled a dark tortoisehell she-cat and both looked over their shoulders quickly.
It wasn't enough to stop him from finding you.
The dark tabby stared down the orange tom, whose green eyes were wide in fear.
Now its too late.
The brown tabby stood under a oak tree, the orange tom standing in front of him. The orange tom's tail tip flicked and the brown tabby licked the orange tom between the ears.
You're just like him.
The black and white apprentice was pinned by the orange tom, terror in the apprentice's eyes.
Fire will scorch and sear the shadows indeed.
The grey she-cat stared into a puddle, the night sky reflecting dim stars above her head.
And it will burn down the whole forest with it.
The orange tom reared up on his hind legs, clashing with a grey tabby tom.
If I had known this is what you would become, I would have killed you before you could even open your eyes.
The orange tom lunged at the grey she-cat, bloody claws flashing.
But that isn't my problem anymore.
The grey she-cat turned away from the orange tom, leaving behind a trio of kits at his paws.

The orange tom walked into the undergrowth alongside the brown tabby, leaving an orange she-cat and a grey tom on a thunderpath standing over the body of another orange tom.

A/N: Yes, I am redoing Broken Fire. I want to redo it properly, as my writing has improved now. I have been stalling it for ages but I will sit down and finish the alligences list once and for all.
"But Fire," you ask, "How can you take so long writing the alligences list?". Well, simple answer: This is a alternate universe (AU) where Rusty was Yellowfang's son, and he is taken to ShadowClan. The complicated part is that the alligences list in "Into The Wild" does not include many ShadowClan cats. Therefore for accuracy's sake - I am using Yellowfang's Secret to try and determine who is alive and dead in ShadowClan, and who is an elder (and therefore banished to the "elder's den".
This means looking at the alligences list in Yellowfang's secret and looking on the warrior's wiki to find out the information I need for the list. Unfortunately I may have to redo the list, as I think I lost the paper I wrote everything on.
