Today is a very special day for the autobots because they've been asked to appear in a top secret lab as a group of scientists lead by a promising young woman has a gift for them and Humanity as a whole.

The autobots:Optimus Prime,Bumblebee,Arcee,Bulkhead,Wheeljack,andSmokescreen except for ratchet who stayed at base to bridge them back when everything was done all stood in front of the team with something big covered in a giant blanket. Agent Fowler stood next to the science team and the young woman her name was Darcy Miles,She was in her mid 20s with blonde hair in a ponytail.

She looked at the autobots awestruck

but then quickly regained her professional composure "Thank you for coming."she said Wheeljack responded snidely "Sure thing it's not like we had anything better to do." Arcee elbowed him angrily. "You guys are gonna love this,Reveal it guys." Darcy commanded.

Then two male scientists grabbed the blacket revealing a Black and yellow robot that was a little taller than bulkhead(the robot's appearance is inspired by the Stinger Transformers Online character concept art by Geming Wen). The autobot's stared at the robot in amazement "I present to you:The Hornet the First line of defense of planet Earth and the Autobot's brand new teamate."

Optimus studied the Hornet and noted the Insectoid features on it "Agent Fowler told us that you guys are vastly out numbered in your fight against the Decepticons and we don't know how many other threats to earth are out there so the Government asked me and my team here to put our heads together and ta da the Hornet was born."

Wheeljack frowned a little offended "You suggesting we aren't getting the job done." Darcy quickly shook her head "No no I'm saying is that it looks like you guys could use a little help." "I'm not going to turn away help."Optimus stated "yeah we haven't even seen this thing in action what can it do?" Smokescreen asked excitedly "It's suprise."Darcy giggled.

Bumblebee was buzzing excitedly the questionly "Yeah is he the only one?"Arcee asked "So far yes,I wanna test him in the field before creating the Hive."

The autobots looked at her curiously "Hornet will soon have his own army Megatron won't stand a chance."Darcy boasted optimus prime looked at hornet one last time. "I'm pleased to welcome Hornet to the Autobot ranks."everyone clapped and cheered. "I just have to add a few finishing touches on him and hill be ready to join the fight to protect humanity." Optimus nodded looking at hornet.

Hours later

The sun was setting over the horizon as Darcy and her team began finishing Hornet. Darcy glanced up at Hornet while looking at something else on a computer screen it was a Golden honeycomb sphere which was Hornet's Soul.

Before building the body Darcy created the Soul of Hornet although it won't be able to talk back and keep up a conversation it can and will understand commands given and words said to it. Darcy is considered Hornet's Mother in a way while building the body she was teaching him right from wrong,what's safe and what's dangerous she was Teaching him how to be a good bot.

While designing his body she chose an Insectoid appearance because she found insects interesting as a child,and Since agent Fowler told her that he need a vehicle mode Darcy Chose the 2020 Tesla Roadster because of how cool it looked.

Darcy downloaded Hornet's soul into his body Darcy looked at hornet with a smile as she waited for him to awaken then the was a loud explosion as Darcy and everyone else flew back then through the smoke Starscream,Breakdown and a few Vehicons rushed in aiming guns at the humans. Starscream looked at Hornet and with a smile turned to Darcy "Thanks for the new Decepticon." Then Breakdown lifted Hornet over his shoulder and the ran through the Groundbridge and it closed leaving a shocked and frightened Darcy behind.

The Nemesis

Megatron stood in front of Hornet grinning evily "I must say it is a very close likeness to Cybertronian biology...but at the end of the day it's nothing but a imitation." Shockwave scanned Hornet and even he was impressed about how far Human science had gone "Right down to the Spark it is a very close likeness my liege."

Airachnid however was looking at Hornet in a completely different way when she looked at him she saw a potential mate...no...she saw the perfect mate for her and that excited her.

Megatron looked at hornet one final time "I think this Hornet will make a fine Decepticon." Then Megatron let out a loud evil laughed making everyone else laugh as well however unknown to them they didn't notice one of Hornet's fingers move.
