29 May 1976, Eric Forman's Basement. 6.43 P.M.

Hyde was sitting in his chair, in the chair opposite Fez. Kelso and Jackie were sitting bust with each other. The door opened then Eric and Donna entered the basement. Lately, they've been hanging very often withouts others and Hyde was very uncomfortable about it. He liked Donna matter how much he was afraid to confess even to himself

"Jackie, I heard that there is a party tomorrow evening. Can I come too?" When Fez spoke with his broken accent, Jackie took a short break from her making out session with Kelso and looked at Fez's face for a while. When she started laughing, the whole gang looked at Jackie, surprised.

"That party..." She stopped laughing. "That party is not for to those in your neighborhood, it's a party where people at the top of Point Place can come." When she underline some of the words, Donna rolled her eyes, she didn't understand why this girl was still hanging out with them. All she did was humiliate them or bossing Kelso around.

Hyde pulled Kelso towards himself.
"Break up with that girl, bundle her off!"

"I can't do it, man."

"Why?"

"She thinks to do it with me."

Hyde was not surprised at what Kelso said. His mind was in his pants. Jackie didn't even hear what Kelso said, she was talking about something with Donna. Hyde had no difficulty in guessing what she was talking about. Relationship advices, clothes, humiliation and closing. She might have been the shallowest girl he'd ever seen.

"Michael! I'm not going to the party tomorrow night, so come to my house and hang out while my parents are out." When Jackie winked, Kelso laughed silly.

Eric got up from where he sat. "Speaking of nights, Donna want to drive around?"

"Of course." Hyde focused on her smile for a while when Donna smiled as she throwed her red hair back. She had all the traits of his dream girl idea, but she was dating with his best friend.

"Hyde! Hyde?" When he heard Fez's voice, Hyde had zone out. They were all surprised to see him focused at Donna.

"Eric asked you something, man." Kelso leaned back and returned to look at the TV.

"Do you want us to drop you home, it's getting dark, buddy." When Eric asked innocently, Hyde tried to put a smile on his face. He wouldn't betray Eric.

"I can handle it, man. I love walking."

"Or he doesn't want you to see his house. Probably he is a freak whom living in a cave-like place." Jackie glanced up at Hyde.

"Whatever, Jackie." Hyde got up after straightening his glasses and moved towards the door. "See you tomorrow morning, guys." When he left the basement, he took a deep breath and took a few steps. He didn't want people to know where he lived or didn't. That's why no one went to his house even though he had visited all of them houses.

As he walked to the back yard of the Forman's house he headed to the black car. He was surprised that nobody has noticed this car. The driver opened the door when he saw him. He simply thanked with a head nod and got into the car. His Led Zeppelin shirts and ripped pants were the image he wanted to show his friends.

If his friends knew that his father is WB, their behaviors towards him would change. Kelso and Fez would try to take advantage of his money, Donna and Eric would act like he is a snob and Jackie would be completely different. He didn't want them to change, he loved them the way they are.

"Your dad wants to know if you are coming to the party tomorrow, he wants you there" the driver spoke.

Hyde remembered that Jackie talking about the party and remained in doubt for a while, but Jackie had told Kelso that she isn't going to the party. So he could have stopped for his father, only few minutes. "I will go to the party, you can forward it to my father."

When Hyde looked out the window, he noticed that he had entered the street where his house was. He lived in the same neighborhood as Jackie, but a few streets ahead. This was the reason why he never run into Jackie before.

When the car entered the garage, Hyde left the car without waiting for the driver. When he walked through the kitchen door, Angie was reading the newspaper while having a snack sitting on one of the bar stools. Hyde sat down next to Angie after he nodded to their maid Caladria. Caladria had been with them since childhood. She was a middle-aged hispanic woman.

"Little brother ..." Angie returned to Hyde after wiping her mouth with a napkin next to her plate. Even though there were small arguments between them, they got along well. "Are you coming to the party?"

"Uh-huh." Hyde took the remaining sandwich from his plate. "I guess my father told you to I need be persuaded for this?

"Exactly. That's why I'm glad you're convinced, they've left a suit in your room. For the possibility of you coming with a Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd shirt."

"That's exactly what I was going to do." He quickly finished his sandwich and walked into his room. There was a huge room in the attic and he got that room by telling Angie that there were mice in the room. It wasn't a lie, but the room turned out to be pretty good when WB redecorated the room for him. Rock n Roll and Playboy magazine, everything he needs.

Hyde entered his room and put a random record on the record player. He looked at the light brown-beige suit that was put on the bed. He was going to wear it even tho it wasn't his style.

29 May 1976, Eric Forman's Basement 11.43 P.M.

"Mom, I can't believe you! I don't want to go to that party." Pam didn't even care about what Jackie wanted. This party was important to her.

"Baby, I can't believe how you can skip a event like this for hanging out with Michael Kelso. Hanging out with your hobo friends,

Pam liked Michael Kelso because he was handsome but her daughter needed things more than appearance.

"Even tho the gang is a little bir filthy and dumb , they're good people, mom."

"You're saying it yourself that they're filthy and it's not just physically darling." Pam put a little kiss on her daughter's head then she looked at the clothes she had put on the. "We need to find the color that suits you best, there will be a lot of boys, you have to be the best looking girl."

"I have no doubt in that i will be the most beautiful girl, mommy." Jackie loved her showy life. "But, why?"

"I don't know how to explain this to you honey." Pam put clothes on the corner of her bed and sit next to Jackie. "There are several lawsuits against your father, bribery cases. I don't think these will work out well for us so you have to save yourself, baby."

"Mom, you know that I won't do that much for money, you know me." The cheerleader camp, the girls she hang out with it was all for her mother and now these weren't enough either. When she looked at her mother's face she realized that she was quite serious, her father was in danger. "Mom, are telling me that dad is going to jail?"

"I'm afraid so." she tried to look sad with a fake expression, but Jackie knew what she was like. She could guess which country her mother went to, moreover, with which men. Her mother was a gold digger, and that was the way she wanted to raise her daughter.

Jackie couldn't bear to look at her mother any longer, grabbed few dresses and ran away to her room. Pam called after Jackie for a while, then gave up and started drinking her expensive wine, which she always had in her room.

Jackie slammed the door as soon as she entered her room. She throw the dresses on the floor then lied on her bed. Her hiccups, which she could not prevent, kept her from breathing. Even her room, which she saw blurred because of her tears, were whelming her. Although she wanted to throw everything she could, she couldn't find the strenght to get out of bed.

She was going to that party, this was what her mother wanted. She was going to do that like a puppet.

May 30, 1976, Point Place High School. 12.26 A.M.

"I can't believe how much food they're giving to that price!" Fez sat beside Eric and Donna. While Eric was eating sandwiches he brought from home, Donna was busy reading the book she had. When Fez ate a little bit of food, he grimaced and left the spoon. "Oow, now I understand."

"Where are the others?" Eric looked at Fez's face.

"I saw Kelso coming but I've never seen Hyde today."

When Kelso came, she looked towards him. Kelso looked pretty fussy. He immediately pulled a chair next to Fez and sat down. "I made it with Pam Macy at the gym!"

"Everyone can see you at the gym, Kelso." Donna was speaking while she was reading her book. "It's a matter of time for Jackie to hear about it."

"She'll never learn, right?" They all looked towards Fez because they all knew that Fez was a blabber.

"I won't tell, don't worry." Fez was trying to smile. When he saw that they were all still looking, he grimaced. "Don't you trust me, good day to you all."

"But Fez..."

I said good day! Also this food sucks! '' When he took the food tray and got up from the table, they chuckled behind him. The lunch break was about to over, and none had seen Hyde at school. They thought that he had skipped the school as he usually did, and they did not care.

"Michaeel." When Jackie came over and whined with a sad face Kelso scared a little bit. It wasn' hard for Jackie to learn what he have done. "Something terrible has happened."

"I didn't do anything!" When Kelso yelled, Jackie looked at him, she didn't understood anything. She wasn't aware of whole Pam Macy thing, she was sad about her conversation with her mother, but she had no intention of telling it with all details to Kelso . Generally, she would prefer not to tell anyone about her family.

"What did you do again, Michael?" she sat on the chair that Fez had left. "Anyway, I don't care, there are more important things."

"Is it related to me?" Kelso was cold sweating, and Eric and Donna enjoyed it a lot. It made them pleased to see Kelso's lies exposing, Donna believed that Jackie should learn about Pam Macy. "Whoever said it, it is a lie!"

"No, moron. I have to go to the party tonight. Mom asked me to do it. Also, of course I will learn what you're hiding from me. Michael, you know. "She brought her chair a little closer to Kelso. "I am smart but you're not." Even Eric agreed with Jackie. Kelso was a big fool.

"Why are you going to that party, you can ditch your mom?" Donna placed the bookmark in her book and put it aside.

"The girl who reads book tells me that." Jackie swinged her hair. "Everybody does some things, they don't want to do, like you are reading a book and I'm going to the party."

"I love reading, Jackie."

"What? Books are for prisoners, Donna." She took the book Donna had put aside and looked at it's cover. She liked the book, but she tried not to making it obvious. "Ridiculous, people don't even expect the movie to come out."

When the school bell rang, they got up from where they sat and walked towards their class. Jackie went upstairs because she was in a grade younger from them. The rest of the gang was in the same class. History teacher Mr. Smith had already entered the classroom when Eric, Donna, and Kelso entered to class.

"Sorry." the teacher grumbled and put the papers to the table when they sat down quickly.

"I read your papers, and I need to have a private conversation with some of you" the teacher flashed an angry look in Kelso and Fez.

Donna whispered to Kelso. "What did you two do again?"
"Nothing" Kelso was giggling. "We just wrote Captain Butt Face Mr. Smith on the papers."

"Dumbasses" Donna complained.

"It's not just two of us, it was Hyde's idea but teachers never do anything about his misbehaviours." No matter what he did, the teachers were just lecturing him but he never got a punishment.

Donna tried not to talk about it and focused on the board.

May 30, 1976, WB's House.. 2.43 P.M.

William Barnett was organizing the party's venue through his secretaries. He had sent small gifts, along with invitations, to all guests. He was organizing the biggest night Point Place had ever seen.

"I want small blue balloons all over. Also have you arranged the black artists I want?" He was making orders sitting at his desk. When his door was knocked, he gave his secretaries his last orders. "We want everything to be perfect, right? I'll come to check before the party." Hyde came in when he hung up.

"Didn't you go to school?"

"I skipped." He sat on the black leather chair in front of his father. "You know I don't like school."

"You also know that I am tired of hearing complaints about you, I donate to that school just for you to not get expelled."

"Anyway. I want Led Zeppelin at the party tonight."

"It is not possible for me to do such a thing, Steven. Now if you excuse me , I have things to do. When WB ignored him and returned to his desk, Hyde rolled his eyes and got up from the sofa. WBspoke without removing his head from the files before he left the door. "I can arrange something for you, though."

"Thanks dude." Hyde met Angie when he left the room with a big smile on his face.

"What did my father say about you not going to the school?" Angie was waiting for her brother to get scold, with her arms prosecuted. "I think military school is the only thing that will do good to your rebel soul"

"I don't think you're going to get rid of me, Angie. I have to help you, so that means you're going to deal with your own business and my own business."

"I don't think so, little brother." Angie got into Hyde's arm. "You'll take me to the mall first, then to the hairdresser. Then we'll change our clothes and go to the party together."

"When will you find yourself a boyfriend and you will stop hanging out with me? You know that this is a very boring job. But the right one does not want to date someone like you."

"You think so, big head." Angie handed Lincoln's key to Hyde and forced him to ride it towards the mall. When car stood in front of the town's biggest shopping mall, Angie got out of the car and leaned to the door of her side."I'll be back in half an hour, I've already reserved what I need."

"As I care." Angie shrugged and proceeded to the mall, as Hyde changed the channel of the radio without looking at her face.

He couldn't find the channel he wanted on the radio, all of them had disco music he found pretty ridiculous. He turned off the radio. Hyde got out of the car and leaned to the car and wait for Angie, not caring the hot air mixed with the warm wind. Meanwhile, Pam Burkhart, who was in the car behind Hyde, knew him, when she came to pick up Jackie from school, she realized that he was one of the dirty kids next to Michael Kelso. What she did not understand was how this boy was driving such an expensive car. She looked at the young boy for a while before she got out of the car.

Angie approached the car with few bags in her hand. "Help me, my arms hurts!"

Hyde rolled his eyes and placed the bags in Angie's hand in the trunk. Pam made it clear in her head when she saw Angie, a high-toned. This dirty boy was their driver.

May 30, 1976, Burkhart Mansion. 7.03 P.M.

Jackie wore the lilac dress that her mother had chosen. The dress fits perfectly on her body and reveals all her feminine lines. It was beautiful, but this wasn't Jackie. She looked in the mirror when she placed a smile full of disdain on her face. The person she saw in the mirror was more like her mother than her, she was like her mother. She looked more and more like her mother.

"Jackie, honey are you ready?"

"Yes, mom." She wore the necklace with a diamond seashell on the end of her father's gift. When her mother opened the door she threw her hair back and walked through the door. "We can go, we look beautiful." Pam raised her eyebrows and smiled despite her botox.

After Pam took the key of her car from the maid, they got into the car to go to the party a few streets away. They didn't want to walk because they were both wearing high heels. After passing by a lot of houses like the Burkhart mansion, they came in front of Point Place's largest meeting room. There was a luxury hotel and restaurant on the upper floors of this meeting room. It was generally a place that everybody else told with envy and exaggeration. Bodyguards and assistant girls waiting in front of the hall were searching for the guests' name from the list and giving them expensive gift bags.

After Pam stopped, the valet opened Pam's doorfirst, then Jackie's. Pam handed her key to the valet. "Park in a good place, merci." After tossing her hair, they entered arm in arm with Jackie and walked through the party. There wasn't even a need for name checking because everyone knew who the Burkharts are.

While the live music orchestra inside played a classical piece, WB was taking care of the guests passing to the tables one by one. His eyes moved towards the door, talking to business partners at the table near the door. He gave a sincere smile when he saw Pam. The two met in high school years, they were hanging out with common groups of friends in those years, but when the high school ended, the bond began to break. First, the bond between them changed, and then they experienced the divergence of being different people.

"Pam, welcome." As WB walked towards Pam, Jackie realized that she did not know this man.

Pam opened her arms and hugged the WB. "William, hello! What a nice party, I loved it!"

"Thank you, it's all thanks to Angie." When WB and Pam laughed, Jackie settled down on an empty cocktail table, put her bag on the table. She smiled sadly after looking at this unfamiliar people laughing around their conversations. It was a pity that she had no one to chat with, except his mother. Although everyone knows her as an overly social person, she was quite a loner in such environments.

When WB and Pam's chat ended, WB touched Pam's shoulder. '' I'll come to you after I gave a speech, Pamela. '' Pam nodded. A few seconds after Pam nodded he got on stage, the music had stopped, and everyone had taken their gaze to that side. Even though Jackie pretended to listen, she was not able to listen to the conversation, but she had her father in her mind.

"Thank you all for coming, for not leaving me alone." From the very first sentence of WB, there was a huge applause. After smiling, WB had a fake cough to continue his speech. "Although there is no special reason for this celebration, gathering everyone and increasing the sociality of our community has been the occasion for me to make this party. So let's raise our glasses to the Point Place!" WB took the champagne from the maid next to him after he snapped his finger. When the WB blew up the champagne, the applause sounds were made to deaf the whole hall. Then all the tables were started to be served.

"Isn't it a great party, Jacqueline?" When her mother whispered to Jackie, Jackie just shaked her head. Pam took a few sips of her champagne without giving much attention to her daughter. "When your father goes to jail, you don't want to miss these parties, Jacqueline Beulah Burkhart."

"Don't call me like that, mother, you know I will do my best." Jackie's voice was uneasy. After moving for a while, she took a deep breath. WB came to them after greeting with a few more people.

"Pam. You never introduced me to this little lady." When WB put a gentle kiss on Jackie's hand, Jackie made a chuckle. "I'm William Barnett."

''Jackie. Jackie Burkhart. ''

"Pleased to meet you." WB left the glass in his hand on the table. "My children are standing there, next to the stairs, why don't you meet them?"

When Jackie looked at her mother suspiciously, Pam blinked to her as a yes. "Yes, I'll go and meet them. ''
When she walked up the stairs, playing with her fingers, she saw Angie, who was watching them alone.
She had heard of her talking about at school, farewell speaker and top student Angie Barnett.

''Hello there.''

"Hi." Angie took a few sips and looked at Jackie. "Do I know you, your face looks familiar?"

"We may have been in the same places, I'm Jackie Burkhart."

"You're that Burkhart girl. Pleased to meet you. Angie Barnett. You're one of those cheerleaders, right?"

''Yes, I am."

"When I graduated from high school, they were all slutty, are they still?"

"They're worse!"

When Jackie walked next to her, Angie continued to study people. '' Did you know that many of this men wearing a wig? And their wives would prefer to sleep with their puppies instead of sleeping with them. '' Jackie laughed when Angie started gossiping without even caring about Jackie's existence.

"That woman in that white dress, she was fat two years ago. I heard she was eating and vomiting, disgusting! '' When Jackie started chatting with her, Angie smiled at what Jackie was telling.

'' I remember and she was wearing pink despite her weight. '' They both laughed when they made a voice saying that they were disgusted. "I needed a girlfriend who loves gossip, all of mine just love math."

"Oh my god, it's a very difficult situation."

Angie examined Jackie's face for a while and finger-tapped it. "I found out where I knew you, I saw you with my brother once!"

'' Your brother? I'm not sure I knew- '' A maid who come to them before Jackie could complete her sentence, began to speak. '' Mrs. Angie, your father invites you and your guest to the table. He also asked you to call your brother, we are not allowed to enter his room. "

'' You go to the table, I'll be back soon, Jackie. '' When Angie climbed up the stairs, Jackie realized she liked this new girl, but she had no idea who her brother was. At school, Angie was the only one who graduated whose last name ended with Barnett. After a while, she shrugged with the thought of she could learn later, and walked to the table where her mother and WB sat.

Angie went up as fast as her high heels allowed and opened the suite door. WB had rented suites for three of them so they could be prepared in the ballroom. Angie opened the door so fast that Hyde dropped the comic book in his hand. He was wearing his suit, but seemed to have no intention of going down. "What are you doing here, Steven?"

"What do I look like I'm doing, I'm reading comics Angie!"

'' My dad specifically commissioned me to make you go down stairs, so get your ass back here and come with me. '

''I do not think so.''

"I'm telling you, you're coming with me, and if you don't, I'll tell my father about the phone that I got from school." When his father heard about the jokes he plotted on the teachers the results were bad so he left the room after Angie.

"I can't believe I have a sister like you."

"Sometimes I can't believe it either, but whatever." When Angie came down to Hyde's arm, everyone's eyes were drawn towards them. Although most people oheard of Hyde's name several times, they started gossiping immediately about him next to him, with the shock from to see them for the first time. Jackie also wanted to look that way but she couldn't see him because of the crowd in front of her, she cursed about once again that being short.

Angie greeted a few people with her head, but Hyde never took off his glasses and looked at no one. It had become the usual zen. Understanding that everyone was looking that way, WB understood that his children were coming, and was looking forward to introducing them to Pam. Jackie was waiting quietly with them.

When Hyde and Angie arrived at the table, WB put a kiss on her daughter's cheek. "My beautiful, little baby." Pam greeted Angie with her head and remembered the boy next to her. This morning she saw him with Angie. Jackie was surprised, not expecting to see Hyde. He wasn't even the last person she expected to see in a place like this. Hyde had not yet noticed Jackie and Pam Burkhart, as he focused on his father and Angie.

When WB put his arm on Hyde's shoulder, Pam glided over Hyde. "Wow, how sincere are you to hang with those who work for you, William." When Jackie heard this, she was a little upset for Hyde because he probably had to work for his family. Hyde glanced at Pam after what she said, frowning at her eyes, scowling, and noticed Jackie next to her.

Fuck! He was about to get revealed.

"My employee?" WB laughed. "I know he's white and I'm black, but he's my son. Steven Hyde."

Pam and Jackie's eyebrows had been raised. Jackie was trying to clarify what WB was saying in her head and they were all seated. All this time him not getting expelled from school, never taking them home, not saying a word about his family. Hyde stood without saying a word, staring at each other with Jackie.

"I know him." Jackie had a wicked smile because of having a ammunition and a confused look.

Steven Hyde was a liar and he was rich!
