Hello everyone! This is my first fanfiction! Well, if you don't count my crappy, old, middle school ones. This idea has been in my head for awhile, but I'm just now writing it out.*Shrugs*. Just have a couple things I want to say before we get going here.
One: It's not really brought up a whole lot here, but I gave Br'er Fox a back story, since I couldn't find one ANYWHERE. Not the movie, not the comics, and not the ride. If you're interested in seeing the whole thing, it's on my DA page. They only thing that needs to be known because it is ever so slightly mentioned is that all the Br'er's used to be good friends when they were young. You don't need to look at it though, to read this.
Two: The Br'er's all have first names, since I thought it was weird if their family called them Br'er _. Br'er Rabbit DID have a first name in the original stories and it was briefly mentioned in the English comics. His names was Riley. Since his is alliterative, everyone else has one. Br'er Fox's is Fletcher.
Three: Italics is thoughts. - is a change in scenes or time. Wasn't really sure how else to show that.
Four: You'll notice year, month, and age at the top of every chapter. Year and month are pretty obvious. Sometimes, there will be a date next month. This will only show up for certain events, like weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. Otherwise, the actual date is not important. Age is in relation with Farryn, the daughter (my OC).
Five: Just an FYI, I plan on this being about 20 something chapters. The beginning ones will be shorter with less dialouge.
I think that's it. I'm sure I forgot something though. Any tips on how to better the writing are welcome. Please enjoy! Onwards!
