New Thundera was being rebuilt. Lion-o was training with Panthro at the moment. "You are doing well Lion-o," Panthro said.
"Thanks," Lion-o said.
The Thundercats were unaware that Mumm-Ra had an evil plan. Lion-o was looking forward to finishing the cities with his fellow Thunderians. This was a happy time indeed.
Then Mumm-Ra attacked. "Mumm-Ra," Lion-o said.
"You got that right Lion-o say good bye to your friends forever!" Mumm-Ra said opening a portal and the lone Lion-o fell through it into another world very far from Thundera.
Snarfer saw the whole thing and ran to tell the Thundercats. Then Mumm-Ra took over. Meanwhile Lion-o landed hard in the middle of the woods of another planet he saw it was full of dogs.
Lion-o was then arrested. "What did I do?" Lion-o asked.
"Lord Dobar, we found this cat he was in the woods near the palace wall we think he may be a soldier planning war on our people," a guard said.
"No I'm not, here is what happened I was attacked and marooned here I have no way to get back to my home. I came to ask for information." Lion-o said.
"Okay cat what do you want to know?" Dobar asked.
"For starters where am I?" Lion-o asked.
"You are on Canis, where are you from?" Dobar asked.
"I am from New Thundera," Lion-o said.
"New Thundera wow you are far from home," Dobar said. "Why are you here?" he asked.
"I was attacked by an evil sorcerer an old enemy of mine, he opened a portal banished me here," Lion-o said. Then Dobar saw the Thundercat symbol on Lion-o's belt. "Release him, he is a Thundercat we can trust him," he said.
"Yes sire," the dogs said.
"Thank you," Lion-o said. "I want to know more about Canis," he said.
"I will tell you gladly," Dobar said leading Lion-o out. "This place is great place to live, their are friends wherever you look. It is home, we are happy to be here, we will try to get you back to your home but it may take a while our ships don't have that kind of range to take you home. But I will have my Mechanics work on one right away. It could take a few years, but until then make yourself at home." he said.
"Thank you Dobar," Lion-o said.
Lion-O began to learn the ways of his new friends. Lion-o told them of his adventures on Third earth. The dogs found the tale riveting. Lion-o was missing home a great deal.
He even began to train with the dogs and learn new fighting styles. It was good time for him. Meanwhile on New Thundera things were getting worse. The Thundercats feared wherever Lion-o was sent to he must've perished. They were so sad. They were forced to be slaves and they were humiliated. Bengali was missing after the attack Mumm-Ra did they thought he perished too. But that was far from the truth he was living in the wild became a survivalist. He was sure Lion-o was still alive and he was determined to find him and take him home and reclaim New Thundera.
Lion-o was growing stronger and faced some problems of his own. A few of the guards still didn't trust him and attacked him. Lion-o was injured luckily for him Dobar stepped in and told the guards to back off and stop being so paranoid.
The Thunderkittens were now grown up they were originally 12 on Third earth and were 17 by the time Lion-o disappeared now they were 20.
Finally the ship to take Lion-o back was finished. "Lion-o I am going with you along with some of my dog soldiers just in case there is trouble," Dobar said.
"Thank you, my friend," Lion-o said.
They made it to Thundera in the wilderness. Lion-o saw everything was a mess. Then he heard something moving in the bushes. Then a figure came out holding a hammer. "Bengali it's me," Lion-o said.
"Lion-o? I knew you were still alive," Bengali said revealing his face. "Lord Lion-o, Mumm-Ra took over New Thundera, our friends are slaves I managed to escape while all the others are captive," he said.
"Bengali where are you?" Snarf said coming up. "Lion-o your back!" Snarf said.
"Who are those guys?" Snarfer asked.
"Friends of mine, these are the Canids. I was sent to their world and I befriended them, they offered to help," Lion-o said.
Mumm-Ra saw and Wilykit and Wilykat knew what he was thinking he was going to destroy Lion-o they had to escape they ran out and Mumm-Ra attacked them. Wilykat escaped but Wilykit got caught. He ran and ran.
Meanwhile Lion-o Bengali, Snarf, Snarfer and the Canids freed the other Thundercats they were relieved the others were alright. Cheetara hit Lion-o. "That was for worrying us." she said.
"Okay I deserve that," Lion-o said. Then a Thunderian came up beaten and exhausted. Lion-o helped her up and gave her some water. Then she looked at him she thought she was rescued by an angel. Then Lion-o saw her eyes they were so beautiful big and blue. "Are you okay?" he asked her.
"Yes I'm fine, thank you, I just escaped from Slithe," she said. "It's good to see your back Lord Lion-o," she said.
"I am glad to be back I'm sorry I took so long," Lion-o said.
"The important thing is our king and lord of Thundercats has returned," she said.
"Don't worry we will set things right," Lion-o said.
"I want to help you," she said.
"You do great," Bengali said.
"You can help use what can you do?" Lion-o asked.
"I am pretty good with a boomerang," she said.
"What is your name?" Lion-o asked.
"Liosia, my lord," she said.
"Then let's go," Lion-o said.
A bit later the ran into Wilykat. Who lead them to Mumm-Ra's Pyramid for a final fight. Wilykit was rescued and Wilykat got a horrible scar from the fight. Mumm-Ra just vanished.
"He's gone," Pumyra said.
"If he comes back we will be ready for him," Lion-o said.
"We sure will." Panthro said.
The Canids offered to help fix the damage Mumm-Ra caused and sure enough with in a year and a half New Thundera flourished again. "Thank you so much Dobar. I extend my hand in friendship to you and the other Canids, we can count on you and you can count on us," Lion-o said.
"I agree, we can count on each other," Dobar said.
Lion-o and Dobar made a treaty and they were happy that their people would work together for a long time.
Liosia was now good friends with Lion-o. But the future who knows what the future held.
