Nightmare

Eighteen year old Greaser,Danny Zuko was laying down in a crib, in a dark room all alone. When suddenly, the bedroom door creaked open. An older women walked in. She had messy long black hair and she wore a dirty old nightgown. Danny's heart pounded as the older women walked up to his crib. The women smiled, a creepy smile."How's my little baby" The women cooed. Somehow this women actually thought that she was Danny's mom! Danny's terrified of this women!"You're not my mother" Danny whispered through gritted teeth. The women looked at the Eighteen year old.

"What was that,my little pumpkin" the women asked in a motherly voice.

"You're not my mother" Danny repeated,louder than before.

The scary women screamed."Ah! How Dare You Say That To Me!" The women screamed some more. Then,the older women picked Danny up and held him in his arms."You'll always be my little baby! Whether you like it or not!" the women shouted at him. She started to rock him to sleep,but Danny got out of her arms and fell to the ground. He started to crawl away from the women as fast as he could. All he knew is how to crawl in this dream,he didn't know how to run. He crawled out of the room and crawled through a long hallway. The women was chasing after him. Danny stopped crawling as soon as he heard a grandfather clock. The clock struck midnight. Danny continued crawling. He crawled into a dark room and hid in a closet. He hid behind hanging clothes.

Danny started to cry. The women stepped in the dark room."I know you're in here,my little boy. Come out,come out where ever you are" she called out. Danny tried to slow his crying down,so the women wouldn't be able to hear him and catch him. Danny thought the women left because he didn't hear any noise from the room anymore. He peaked his head out through the hanging clothes, slowly... But, the women was starring at him."There you are" the women said and leaped towards him to grab him.

End Of Nightmare

Danny suddenly woke up and started crying. Danny's crying got louder and louder, waking up the other T-Birds."Danny!" A voice cried. It was Kenickie's, the second in command of the T-Birds."What's wrong,Zuko" Kenickie asked. He was kneeling on the floor by Danny's bedside. The rest of the T-Birds,Doody,Sonny, and Putzie were now by his bedside as well. Danny kept on , something was off. Danny's crying sounded like it was coming from a small child instead of an Eighteen year old."Danny" Kenickie said and slowly touched his crying friend. In response,Danny screamed,body shaking in fear and continued to cry again. Kenickie and the other greasers were shocked. They never saw their big tough leader like this before.

"Oh,It's okay,Zuko"Kenickie told his friend,calmly.

"It's only me... Kenickie". Kenickie slowly,but lightly touched Danny's hand. Danny wasn't sobbing anymore.

"There we go... better?"Kenickie asked calmly.

Danny started to whimper."No,no. No more crying"Kenickie said,gently."What are we gonna do,Kenickie" Sonny asked."Yeah,we never seen Danny act like this before"Putzie added."I don't know. I guess we gotta do something that will calm him down"Kenickie suggested. Danny was now crying again."Oh,come on,Danny. Calm down,please. For me"Kenickie pleaded. But, it was no use."Come on guys,help me out here"Kenickie said to the rest of the greasers. All of the sudden,out of no where,a cute little laugh came from Danny."Doody!"Kenickie exclaimed because Doody was the one who made Danny laugh by tickling him."What? You asked us to help you out"Doody defended himself."Doody's right,ya know,Kenick's"Sonny added. Kenickie rolled his eyes. Doody continued to tickle their leader.

Danny continued to laugh,cute laughs."Who would of thought our big tough leader is ticklish"Doody said as he tickled Danny."Hey,I wanna join in too"Putzie said and tickled Danny as well."I'm sorry,Kenickie. But,I gotta try this out. This is only a once in a lifetime opportunity"Sonny told Kenickie and started to tickle Danny with his other friends."I'm sorry,I gotta say this. This is so cute"Putzie said. Poor Danny was dying with laughter."Okay guys,that's enough"Kenickie told them."Oh come on,Kenick's. This is so fun and adorable"Sonny said. Poor Danny's still laughing. Tears were now streaming from hsi face."Aww,now he's crying from laughing so hard"Putzie said."Guys,enough! It's late!"Kenickie ordered them.

"Alright,alright"Doody said and stopped tickling Danny. Putzie and Sonny stopped tickling Danny as well.

Danny now started to calm down."I think he should go back to sleep"Kenickie said.

"With just leaving him here all alone?"Doody wondered.

"No. I gotta idea to help him get back to sleep"Kenickie told him.

"What?"Doody asked.

"Let's sing him a lullaby"Kenickie answered.

"Got any lullabies in mind"Sonny asked."Yeah. You guys can sing along too"Kenickie told them."Well... what's the song?"Putzie wondered."I'll start the song,then you guys can join in after me"Kenickie said. Kenickie smiled a little smile at Danny."Ready,Zuko?"Kenickie said. Danny didn't say anything. Kenickie held Danny's hand and started to rub his hand with his thumb. Kenickie started to sing the song.

"Hush-a-bye,don't you cry,Go to sleep my little baby.

When you wake you shall have All the pretty little horses".

The rest of the T-Birds started to sing along with Kenickie.

"Black and bays,dapples,grays,All the pretty little horses.

The guys finished the song and Danny's eye's slowly closed to go to sleep. Kenickie,Doody,Putzie and Sonny all sighed with relief."Good,he's asleep. Or at least trying too" Kenickie whispered."You guys cab go back to bed.I'll stay with Zuko for the rest of the night". So with that said,Doody,Sonny and Putzie all left Danny and Kenickie alone. After a few minutes,Kenickie,quietly,but slowly got into bed next to Danny."Good night,Zuko"Kenickie whispered. With Danny fast asleep,Kenickie closed his eyes so he could go to sleep too. Kenickie woke up the next day and saw that Danny was still sleeping. Danny looked so peaceful. Kenickie smiled. Danny woke up a half an hour later to see Kenickie smiling at him. Danny yawned."Morning sleepy head"Kenickie said as if he were talking to a small child."Morning Kenick's"Danny said in his normal voice."Danny! You're back to normal!"Kenickie cried.

"What are you talking about?"Danny wondered."You mean,you don't know what happened last night"Kenickie exclaimed."Not that I know of"Danny answered."Aren't you in for a story,then,Zuko"Kenickie said."You had a bad dream last night. It scared you so much that you were crying,but,you sounded and acted like a small frightened child"Kenickie told his friend."Oh no"Danny groaned. Kenickie continued,"Yes,then Doody started tickling you. Putzie and Sonny wanted to tickle you as well,so they did. You were laughing like a small child. Then I decided to sing you a lullaby and the rest of the T-Birds joined in too. We sang 'All The Pretty Little Horses' to get you to go back to sleep and it worked".

"You mean the rest of the T-Birds saw me like that!"Danny cried.

"Yes"Kenickie answered."But,you were so cute when you were laughing".

"Danny,do you remember what dream you had that made you act like that?"Kenickie asked.

All of the sudden,the nightmare came flooding back to the leader.

"Actually,yes. It's a nightmare I keep on having every year ever since I was two years old in a crib. That's why I'm always in a crib in the beginning of this dream no matter how old I am"Danny replied. Kenickie's eyes widened in shock."Really? What happens"Kenickie asked. Danny explained everything that happened in that recurring nightmare."Wow,Zuko. I can't believe you've had this nightmare ever since you were two"Kenickie exclaimed."Yeah"Danny sighed."It's not the only nightmare I have though. But it's the only recurring one. I used to tell my mother about this dream and she would comfort me. But, I stopped telling her about it when I was twelve and would just,well,cry about it. Don't get me wrong,I always cried about it even before I was still"Danny exclaimed.

"Oh,man. That's tough. I'm sorry"Kenickie apologized.

"Hey,it's not your fault,Kenick's"Danny told him.

"I know,but I feel bad"Kenickie said.

"Hey,it's okay. Thanks for helping me out last night"Danny thanked."I've haven't had someone help me out with that in years".

"No problem,Zuko"Kenickie said with a smile.

"Just don't tell anyone else about this. It would ruin my image"Danny told him."Sure thing"Kenickie said. The rest of the T-Birds came in the room."How's it going,Zuko? You okay?"Doody asked."Yeah,I'm okay now"Danny replied."So glad you're back to normal. The guys and I are gonna go out to lunch. Do you guys wanna come?"Doody wondered. Kenickie looked at Danny."You guys go ahead,we'll catch up"Danny told them."Alright"Doody said.

Doody,Putzie and Sonny left the room."I guess we better get dressed,then"Kenickie said as he started to get out of bed. Danny started to get out of bed too."Hey,Danny"Kenickie called."Yeah?"Danny said."Do you think you'll be okay for the rest of the nights on vacation?"Kenickie asked."I hope so,Kenick's"Danny replied."If you ever need to talk to me about your nightmares and need to comfort you... Just tell me,anytime. Even when we're not on vacation"Kenicie told him.

Danny smiled and put a hand on his friend's shoulder."Thanks man. This is what I like about you,your caring and kindness"Danny thanked him."Thanks,just don't tell anyone about it... it would ruin my image"Kenickie said and chuckled. Danny chuckled as well."Don't worry"Danny ,Danny and Kenickie got ready so they can go have lunch with the rest of the T-Birds.
