"Harry, it's time to get up, the Hogwarts Express leaves in a few hours", called LIly
"Coming Mum"
He reached around on his nightstand for his glasses. The room came into focus. There were Quidditch posters and other wizarding objects all over his room. He loved his life so much more now that he lived with his parents at Potter Manor, instead of with the Dursleys at Privet Drive. He quickly got dressed, he couldn't wait to see Ron and Hermione again. He had visited the Burrow a few times over the summer, but he never stayed over long enough for them really to do anything. He ran into the kitchen and saw their house-elf, Mickey, cooking eggs and bacon while Lily and James ate. When Mickey served him, Harry instantly began to stuff his face with eggs, bacon, and biscuits.
"Harry, come on, we have to go now"
"Okay dad"
He picked up his trunk and his Firebolt, Sirius had given it to him over the summer. He had given his old Nimbus 2000 to the Weasleys.
Just then, Sirius apparated in front of Harry.
"Sirius, Harry, we need to go now, or we won't get to talk to the Weasleys a the platform before everyone's walking around at butting their noses where they don't belong on the train"
"Race you Prongslet"
"You're on"
Harry won the race, jumping onto his Firebolt halfway through the race. Sirius surprisingly didn't complain about it. Harry side-along apparated with him mum to the platform. James, Lily, Harry, and Sius, who was in dog form, found the Weasleys and started talking. After a few minutes, Lily, who would be teaching Potions this year, left to prepare for classes. When the train finally got there, the kids boarded and enjoyed being able to use magic. Ron was dueling Harry, who was easily beating Ron by only using Expelliarmus. They all looked up from the Muggle card game they were playing when Draco Malfoy stepped into their compartment.
"Potter, the Mudblood and the Weasels"
" What do you want Malfoy?"
"Only to ask you if you're going to try and enter."
"Explain what you're talking about ore leave", said Ron
"You don't know? You've got a father and a brother at the Ministry and you don't know?"
Malfoy left, leaving the Weasleys, Hermione, and Harry to figure out what he was talking about.
"Probably that thing that Percy was talking about", said George
"Probably", said Harry
"Blimey, we're already at Hogwarts", said Fred
After they arrived, they watched as the Sorting began. Colin Creevey came over to talk to Harry.
"Harry, my brother Dennis is starting this year, I really hope he's in Gryffindor"
Just then, Dennis put on the Sorting Hat, "Gryffindor"!
Dennis ran over to the Gryffindor table and sat next to his brother as the Gryffindors applauded. The Sorting continued, and when everyone had been Sorted, the feast appeared. After everyone had eaten, Dumbledore made his speech.
"There will be no Inter-House Quidditch Cup this year, though I am sure that you will be quite as satisfied with why it has been canceled. The Triwizard Tournament is coming to Hogwarts." After the cheering, he continued, "All 4th years and up may enter."
He explained that to enter, they needed to put their name in the Goblet of Fire and that the students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang would arrive in 2 week's time. They all received their schedules. Harry and Ron groaned at the sight of their schedules.
"What's up?", asked the twins
"Look at Monday", Ron said, showing them his schedule.

The students went up to their dorms, ready for their classes the next day.
When the champions are chosen

From Hogwarts: Cedric Diggory
Harry groaned, he'd hoped to be the champion. Just then, another name came out of the Goblet. "Harry Potter", read Dumbledore.
The Gryffindor table exploded. Harry made his way to the chamber where all of the other champions were. There was a lot of arguing over Harry being able to compete or not. Finally, they decided that he could compete.
James, Harry, Sirius, and Ron were playing Quidditch against Fred, George, Ginny, and Charlie, who was at Hogwarts for the 1st task.
Harry and Charlie were Seekers and everyone else was a chaser, a beater, or a keeper, depending on what position they needed to be playing at whatever point in time. Hermione kept commentary from the ground.
"James Potter of Team Potter scores! 10-0 Team Potter"
"Ginny Weasley of Team Weasley is streaking down the pitch, ooh, Sirius Black with some nice Bludger work there. Ron Weasley catches it, 20-0 Team Potter"
By 20 minutes into the match, the score was 340-330, Team Weasley. Harry saw the Snitch and sped towards it, and Charlie did the same. Harry accelerated and caught the Snitch.
"Harry Potter's got the Snitch! The final score is 480-340 Team Potter."
Team Potter cheered a lot as they descended to the ground. The twins, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, and Harry had to go to lessons, and they ran off. Sirius, who had been cleared by the Ministry, went back to his place and James went to Potter Manor.
The First Task
Harry walked out into the enclosure, his eyes on the Horntail in front of him.
"Accio Firebolt!"
He stood there, hoping his broom would come. What would he do if it didn't? Then he heard it and there was his broom, flying through the sky. When it reached the enclosure, it waited for Harry to mount it, and shot off again. Harry dodged fire and circled around the dragon again and again. The spikes on the dragon's tail cut him on his shoulder. It didn't seem deep, so he kept circling the dragon. When it finally took off of the ground, Harry zoomed between its legs and got the egg. He flew to the edge of the enclosure amidst the cheers of the spectators. McGonagall, Moody, Lily, James, and Sirius ran forward to meet him.
"Excellent Harry", said James, Lily, and Sirius
"That was excellent Potter", said McGonagall
"Well done", said Moody
Harry went to get his wound cleaned up. When he came out, he went back to the champions' tent. Ludo Bagman was waiting for them and informed them of their next task. The champions then went up to their dormitories to rest. Harry practically leaped into his bed and fell asleep the second his head hit the pillow.
The Full Moon
James, Harry, Sirius, and Remus walked out onto the Potter Manor's grounds. It was the full moon and all of them, minus Remus, were excited. Harry was also an unregistered Animagus, a stag like James. Remus started to turn into a wolf, so the other three turned into their Animagus forms. Remus started running around, so they followed him. They eventually all began to play around and wander into the nearby villages. James and Sirius would wrestle with Remus while Harry watched. As the dawn approached, Remus turned back to human form and the others did too. They ran back to the mansion before Lily realized that James, Sirius, and Harry had left. She didn't know they had left, she only knew that Remus was going into the woods. They found Lily asleep and pretended that they had never left.
The Prank
James and Harry were in the 3 broomsticks having a butterbeer.
"Hey Harry, want to play a trick on Ron and Hermione?"
"Sure, what'd you have in mind?"
"We turn into stags and use disillusionment charms and stab them with our antlers."
"Sounds good"
They found Ron and Hermione on the hill overlooking the Shrieking Shack. They cast disillusionment charms on each other. At first, James did the stabbing, making the two jump around, howling in pain while looking for whatever had stabbed them. Harry pelted them with sludge bombs, making them curse while trying to figure out where they were coming from. Eventually, Harry turned into a stag and joined his dad. After 10 minutes, Ron and Hermione managed to run down the hill away from the Potters. Harry and James went back to the Gryffindor common room, where they were alone. Ron and Hermione walked in 2 minutes later.
"What happened to you two?", they asked at the same time
"We got stabbed and pelted with sludge bombs in Hogsmeade", explained Hermione
The Potters couldn't contain their laughter, they doubled over and just couldn't stop laughing. Ron and Hermione finally figured out that it was them, and started cursing. The Potters just kept laughing while they yelled at the top of their lungs. Lily eventually came to see what the disturbance was. When James explained, she just nodded. She explained that she and James had done that to Remus, Peter, and Sirius when they were still at school. Ron and Hermione went to take showers, as they were covered in slime, and the Potters went out to the grounds.
End Of The Year
The end of the year feast wasn't as upbeat as usual. Cedric's death was like a wet blanket over the school. Harry especially was sad, he knew he could have prevented his death by just taking the cup. Dumbledore made his end-of-the-year-speech.
"The death of Cedric Diggory has affected us all. The Ministry does not wish for me to tell you this, but Cedric was murdered by Lord Voldemort." Whispers and murmurs rippled throughout the hall. Dumbledore raised his goblet and toasted, "Cedric Diggory". The rest of the hall echoed in a low, deep, rumbling tone." There is one other person in connection with Cedric's death, I am of course talking about Harry Potter. Harry risked his own life escaping Voldemort to return Cedric's body to Hogwarts. He toasted Harry too, and the rest of the hall, minus the Slytherins followed in the same voice that they had toasted Cedric in. The students went to their dorms, there was still one more day of school.
At 3:00 in the morning, James and Sirius woke Harry up so they could pull a couple of pranks on the last day of school. James went to the Ravenclaw dorms, Sirius went to the Hufflepuff dorms, and Harry went to the Slytherin dorms. By the time they had finished, some people were getting up to go to breakfast, so they went straight to the Great Hall. When the Ravenclaws walked in, they were wearing red and gold robes with spiked red hair.
"Nice one Prongs"
The Hufflepuffs walked in with red and gold robes that said Gryffindor Rocks! on both the front and back. Their hair was in an afro and was red and gold.
"Good one Sirius"
But still, the best one was the Slytherins. They had red and gold robes, red and gold faces with I Suck and Gryffindors Rule on them. Plus, Harry had mad their hair multiply and separate to spell I am a loser.
"Prongslet, you are a genius"
"Thank you Sirius"
"That was the 3 of you wasn't it, asked McGonagall.
"Possibly"
Dumbledore addressed the hall, "It looks like we have some mischief-makers in here", he said, aiming the last part at the Marauders. " The Hogwarts Express will leave in 3 hours, enjoy your summer".
James, Lily, Sirius, and Harry apparated straight to Potter Manor. After playing Exploding Snap and doing other fun stuff with Remus, Harry went to bed. As he fell asleep, he realized how thankful he was to have his parents back.
