One morning in Aloe Blossom's room, Lotus Blossom woke-up.
"Uhm, uh...Lotus...?" croaked out.
"Sssh..." Aloe hushed her friend, "I'm just up for a little walk...
Wanna come?" She proposed.
"Okay," said, jumping on Lotus's shoulder.
She went outside to just walk around.
"You know, it's nice to takes a rest on this search," Lotus said, "That way, we can have time to spend together," chimed in, "Yes...
It was a wise decision that I betrayed Ace," they walked around until they reached the park.
"Sigh, it's going to be Valentine's day, and I don't have anyone to be with...Aloe's going with Big Macintosh, Amberlocks's going with Braeburn on the dance," Lotus said, sadly.
"How about Bright Mac?" asked.
"Oh...
Him?
He's got a test going on...
And, he's too young," Lotus replied.
"How about Burnt Oak?"
And, as if on cue, Burnt Oak walked to the park, also sitting.
"Oh!
It's Burnt oak!" Lotus said, thinking he could solve her dilemma.
She came running to him, "Burnt oak!
Burnt oak!"
But suddenly, she trippped on a rock and came tumbling dow.
"AAAAH!" She screamed.
Burnt Oak saw her, "Lotus?" He said, "Burnt Oak!
"Look!
She's falling down!" Apple Bloom said.
Burnt Oak ran over to catch Lotus, and then less in a minute, he caugh Lotus and came tumbling with her towards the lake.
SPLAASH!
The current was so strong that both of them were carried by it.
As Burnt Oak got his sights ready, he saw a root at a nearby tree and grabbed it.
He pulled himself and an unconscious Lotus out.
He carried Lotus to a nearby tree to dry her and let her rest.
He was beat up by the river that he stayed beside her, observing her.
"Wow, she's kinda cute whe she sleeps," He thought, looking her at her face with a loving look.
After a minute, Lotus's eyes fluttred open and she became face-to-face with Burnt Oak.
They stared at each other for more than a minute.
It occurred to Lotus what they were doing and quickly looked away, hiding her blush.
As Burnt Oak saw her do this he did it as well.
"Wow...I had an early bath today...
Thanks for saving me," Lotus said, giving Burnt Oak a genuine smile.
Burnt Oak blushed.
"So know where we are?" He asked.
"No, I don't know...
Maybe...
Maybe we're lost," Lotus said, "I'll try to contact Big Macintosh," Burnt Oak said.
He checked his phone, but it has no signal.
"Man!
It's jammed! He said.
"We just have to wait here..." Lotus said, where's and Apple bloom?"
Then, the two ponies popped out from behind the tree.
"We're here!" Apple bloom said.
"Oh!
Thank goodness!
I thought you were lost!" She said with full concern.
She sat down and hugged the two ponies.
"Aww..." Burnt Oak heard Apple bloom say.
He turned his eyes to Lotus, She's..." He can't think of any word.
She's just so caring.
Maybe Burnt Oak can ask her to the dance they were having...
But, they were lost...
"Hey!
Did anyone see Lotus?" Aloe asked her mom.
"I don't know dear.
It's already noon and Lotus's not back from her morning walk," Aloe's mom said.
"Where could she be?" Aloe thought, worriedly.
