Kaida Summers was on her way to art summer camp to learn to become a better artist but her joy at Art summer camp was not going to be as fun as it seemed because a boy she doesn't like named Eustance Clarence Scrubbs was going to art camp too.
Kaida was always being bullied by Eustance in school for her love of books of all sorts, animals( especially when alive) and being creative. All that Eustance cared about was making the beauty of the world look bad, he kind of reminded Kaida of crazy people that keep big cats as pets and keep them captive and put them on a show display to the public and train them to be aggressive to make them look bad.
Kaida knew Eustance didn't keep lions as pets but he kept all sorts of beetles including stag beetles (which Kaida liked stag beetles) but would keep them dead and pinned onto a wall to collect, it was as bad as over hunting animals for game and putting their heads onto their walls, even so Eustance was going to the same summer camp as Kaida but she was not gonna let Eustance get to her this time because this was gonna be the best summer of her life.
Kaida packed her clothes, canteen, pillows and some books to read if she got board in the cabin. Good thing she was going to be camping with other girls so she doesn't have to deal with Eustance because she will be socializing with with other girls her own age instead of dealing with boys like she does at her school especially with Eustance.
Kaida and her mother packed up the Honda van and went off to go to the summer camp. They went past farmlands, fields full of cows and horses till they got to their destination.
When Kaida gotten to the summer camp she met up with a old friend of hers.
"Hi Kaida, Long time no see," said Kaida's old friend. "Hey Adean, how's things been going at your new apartment?" Kaida asked. Adean smiled. "Fine, just fine, getting along with my neighbors just fine," said Adean. "That's great, ive been getting along with my mom well," Kaida responded.
When Kaida said her goodbye to her mom she went with Adean when someone snuck up behind them, that someone was Eustance.
"You think you can use some games have some imagination rubbish just so you can go on some fake adventures," Eustance sneered. "Well you where in Narnia and transformed into a dragon! You beast!" Kaida snarled. She felt like hitting him but Adean held her back. "Oh you gonna slug me eh? And you Adean, your too soft which makes you weak!" Eustance snapped with a bit of a sneer.
Adean began to sob while Kaida glared at Eustance as he walked away. "I'll show that no good boy a lesson someday or another," Kaida growled. "No! Don't, he's bigger then you! You won't have a chance against him!" Adean lectured. "Why does he get to go on adventures and be a beautiful mythical creature while I stay a ugly human!? He doesn't even deserve to be a dragon!!" Kaida yelled. "They just wrote a story about him becoming a dragon, it's not real," said Adean. Kaida didn't care, she knew if she was a dragon she'll teach Eustance a lesson.
