The weird feeling started on Sunday. After a nice little weekend with no duties in soght, Mal felt relaxed and ready to take on the next challenge. She hadn't been able to spend as much time with Ben as she would have liked when they got married. But weekends where like a little toe hold in there relationship, helping them go to the next step. And Mal relished the feeling of growing stronger in her long-lasting bonds. It had been about a year since the barrier was brought down for good. And she was happy. Four years ago Mal would have never imagined herself to be in this position. She would have never thought she would be married to the king and feel anything close to happiness. How wrong she was.

It wasn't until Sunday she felt a bit off. It wasn't anything in particular. She just felt more heavy on her feet. And she had a small headache but it wasn't even that bad and very easily ignored. What really had her worked up was the fact that her magic started acting up. Make hadn't used her magic that much since the whole Audrey drama. And she was better for it. But today as Mal came put the shower and reached for her phone a spark of magic jolted her hand away and made her yelp in alarm. Mabey I'm just coming down with something, she concluded at that moment.

After getting dressed her headache wrosened. Today she was suppose to have lunch with Evie, Jay and Carlos. But Mal thought if she was coming down with something she certainly didn't want to get her friends sick as well. Mal was about to text that she wouldn't make it when she remembered. She rarely ever got sick as a child. She rarely got sick at all. Mabey just a common cold. She had the urge to call Fairy Godmother(FG) to see if this was anything to be concerned about. But she shooed it away. She was sure she was ever reacting and didn't want to burden anybody.

Than Been came in the room fully dressed as usual. He was really a morning person. "Hello there" he said with a idiotic grin. "Breakfast?"

"Sure, yeah" Mal replied with a smile as she took Bens hand and they went down for breakfast. Breakfast has become very interesting now. Ben was trying to learn to cook so he sometimes cooked breakfast instead of Mrs.Potts on some days. Make thought it was cute and hilarious. Most days ended up with the eggs being burnt or undercooked. And a frustrated Ben calling Mrs.Potts for help as Mal hid her snickers.

"Did you cook today?" Mal asked as she picked at the fairly decent looking eggs. Ben smiled. "I finally got it right didn't I?" he asked. Mal chuckled. She had to admit this was the best he had done this year. Mal would never complain, she herself definitely could not cook.

"Hmmm" Been hummed as he looked at Mal with a baffeled stare. "What?" she asked him. She brushed her around her like to make sure there weren't any eggs on it. "Your eyes are glowing" he stated simply. Mal gave him a baffled look in return. "My eyes only do that when I'm doing magic or somebody pisses me off" she reminded him, shoveling a spoon full of eggs in her mouth. "Than I must be getting on your nerves because I swear they are glowing" he said. And when Ben swears he means it. Make swollen her food and checked her reflection in her phones camera. Sure enough her eyes where flashing a bright green at a rapid pace. Mal shrieked and dropped her phone on the table.

Ben picked it up for her and handed it back. "So that has never happened before?" he asked.

"Nope" Mal confirmed. "What's wrong with my eyes?" she asked more to herself than to Ben. Suddenly the coffee mug next to Ben exploded spraying hot coffee all over him. "Woah, ow!" he cried shaking the liquid off his shirt. "Mal did you do that?" he asked her with a worried look.

"I'm not sure how, I'm pretty in control of my magic" she insisted. "Is there something wrong with me?"

"Mabey your just stressed" He suggested. Ben sighed as he looked at his coffee stained shirt. "Be right back, I got change out of this" he said.

"Ben I'm sorry" Mal told him. She really hadn't meant to make his coffee mug explode. Ben managed a smile. "It's just a shirt, besides we can get it checked out later" he assured her. He left Mal alone with her thoughts. What is wrong with me today?

She was just so off and she didn't know why. Mal didn't even feel hungry anymore. Mal pushed her plate of eggs away and leaned against her chair trying to think. She closed her eyes just for a split second and than...

She was a little girl again. Trapped beneath her mothers heel. Begging her to have mercy. Saying that she would do better. Promising to do anything she wants.

"Revenge is coming soon" Mal heard her mother voice say. "And your going to help me obtain it!"

Mal's eyes flew open and suddenly the table flew against a wall and exploded in a splinters. Make sheilded her face but got cut on the cheek. BANG! Ben came running down in a fresh blue polo looking around of the once elegant table. "What happened?" he asked. "Are you ok, as you hurt?"

Mal shook her head still shocked about what just happened. "I lost control for a second" she admitted.

Ben took her hand and examined the cut on her cheek. "We should see Fairy Godmother about this" he said.

"Ugh not that old hag!"

Mal heard a voice in her head say.

"Who said that?" Mal asked aloud.

Ben put his head to her forehead feeling if she had a temperature. "Mal are you alright?" he asked her, sincere concern in his eyes. "Y-yes I think so" Mal replied best she could. Her headache was terrible now.

"Beast boy needs to mind his business" the voice snapped making Mal wince and grab her head. "Mal!" Ben called. "What's wrong? is it your head, does it hurt?" he asked. "No I'm fine" Mal said to ease his worry a little bit.

"Can't wait until we get our revenge!" the voice sang happily. Mal winced again. The voice it felt so real, but for some reason it appeared as if only she was hearing it. "Do you hear that?" she asked Ben. Be frowned. "Hear what?"

"I'm in your mind genius!""That voice!" Mal almost screamed.

"Let's get you checked out Mal" Been said trying to lift her from her chair.

"He thinks your insane! And when I'm through you will be!"Mal staggered but Been caught her before she fell.

Mal was pressed up against iron bars. They stung her face. She looked in the bars and saw a boy staring back at her with tears in his eyes. She was pulled back and slammed into the bars over and over. Blood poured from her head. Her screams echoed through.

Mal was jolted back to reality as Ben shook her. "Mal, are you ok?" he asked. Mal blinked but couldn't get her mouth to form words. This feeling was unlike anything she was use to.

The World was spinning and than it suddenly went dark.

When Mal woke up she was lying in her bed. A wet cloth wa solace on her forehead. And she heard voices but her eyes where too blurry. "Wait she's waking up!" somebody exclaimed. Make visioned cleared up and she saw Ben's sad eyes starting at her. She sat up in bed confused.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Y-you collapsed" Been told her. "God Mal you scared the shit out of me"

"Sorry, I didn't mean too"

Fairy Gdomothers kind faced appeared and she smiled. "Hello, dear how are we feeling?" she asked. Make wanted to say she was fine but she wasn't. Her body was sore. All over. And her breathing was shallow.

"Sore" she answered honestly. Fairy Godmother nodded. "That is because you seemed to have used a lot more magic than usual" she said. Mal remembered Bens coffee mug exploring and the table. She felt guilt settle in her stomach like an angel dragging her down. "And dear heavens your eyes!" she said. "Something is clearly wrong" she pointed out. Ben nodded sadly. "Can you figure out what, and help her?" he asked hopefully.

"Well let's see here" Fairy Godmother began.

"Wanna see how far you can throw that nightstand?" The voice in Mals head asked. Mal looked at the nights and next to her bed.

"No, stop making me do stuff" she hissed back.

"But it's fun!" the voice complained. "See!"

The nightstand suddenly went flying into the door and crashed loudly. It broke apart. Everybody shielded there faces. Mal noticed her skin was a bit paler. "Goodness me!" Fairy Godmother exclaimed. "No control over your magic, that is quite a problem," she said.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to" Mal explained quickly.

Fairy Godmother nodded her understanding. "That is quite alright your majesty, but as of right now I don't understand what is causing you to lose control like that!" she confessed.

Mal was about to tell Fairy Godmother about the voice and about her vision before she blanked out. But her mouth wouldn't open. She tried but it wouldn't. It was stuck.

"You're not telling her anything!" The voice biased slyly.

Mal tried again. Nothing.

"Stop controlling me!" Mal snapped.

"Never!"Mal was trying her best not to scream out loud. Ben noticed how to place her skin got and then she seemed to have gotten thinner before his eyes. "Baby, are you ok?" he asked. Mal didn't have an answer to that question.

Mal walked up to a glass dome and lifted it. Freeing a tiny purple lizard. Mal's eyes were glazed and green. For some reason, she looked thicker than usual around the abdomen area. Mal jolted back to reality.

"Poor thing probably has a lot on her mind," Fairy Godmother said. "Let us leave her to rest," she said to Been. Ben squeezed my hand before planting a kiss on my cornea. I sat there upright frozen in place. As they left. And I was panicking.
