And enjoy!
My name is Linh Lupin-Snape, and I am the daughter of a murderer.
My father is Sirius Black, but once he got arrested and sent to Azkaban, I was sent to live with my godfathers.
Now, you're probably wondering how I have godfathers. Let me just clear this up; Rem and Sev are not together. No, they hate each others' guts. But since my father liked Rem, and my mother—whoever she is—liked Sev, they became my godfathers.
Oh, you're also wondering whether I'm a werewolf.
I'm not. Sev and Rem are very careful about that. But I can turn into a wolf, so Rem calls me Roman, like Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongso.
From Sev, I've learned to mask my emotions like he is so famous for doing. But from Rem, I've got my love for books. According to Rem, I got my father's pranking spirit, but Sev says I got my mother's determination.
Oh, I'm sorry, you don't want to hear me talk about myself? Well, guess what; by choosing to read this trash, you signed up for it.
Sorry, my apologies. Anyway, I sit in my empty compartment in the train with my book in my lap, minding my own business, until eleven people open the door.
I sigh, and without looking up, I say, "What do you need?"
"Can we sit here?" a girl with blonde hair and stormy gray eyes asks. I have jet black hair and eyes silver eyes, in case you're wondering, but sometimes my eyes look stormy gray.
I sigh again. "Go ahead. So long as you don't expect anything from me."
They sit down, and I am about to go back to my book, but a girl with choppily cut brown hair and eyes like a kaleidoscope asks, "What's your name?" She's very pretty, especially since she looks around eleven.
"You first," I counter. As you can tell, I don't trust very easily. Why should I? As soon as someone learns about my last name, it's like they immediately have a knife and are waiting to stab me in the back.
Dark, sadistic, mistrustful, cold—I'm such a warm and sunny girl.
Anyway, the boy who's sitting next to me glares at me, but I just continue to lean my head on and gaze out the window. "Tell us your name." he commands. Did he really expect me to listen?
"Nico, calm down." the dark skinned girl with golden eyes soothes.
So the boy's name is Nico.
"How can I calm down, Hazel?" Nico practically shouts. And the only thing I think is, the girl's name is Hazel, then. "Can't you feel it?"
"Feel what?" I want to ask, but I don't. They would definitely shut up if I did.
"Feel what?" the blonde girl asked.
"Annabeth," a pretty girl with piercing black eyes, glossy black hair worn in a single braid, and a regal, beautiful face in Hispanic descent warns. She glances at me, and Blondie—Annabeth—seems to get the message.
I smirk. "Smart girl. But don't you trust me? I mean, it's not like I didn't give you my name or anything."
The Hispanic girl sighs. "Alright. I'm Reyna Ramírez-Arellano."
"Pretty name," I compliment.
Hazel blinks. "B-but, I thought you'd tell us your name if we told you at least one of ours?"
"Well, maybe you should've thought to verify first." I say, venomously sweet.
"Mental note: never trust her." Nico growls.
"Nico, are you alright?" a boy with black hair and sea green eyes asks. "You're a little more snappish today." He glances at me. "I'm Percy Jackson, by the way."
I nod, smiling lightly. He was too trusting, but... nice, I guess? Anyway, I figured that I could trust him. "I'm Linh Lupin-Snape." A scrawny Latino boy with dark hair and warm brown eyes gaps at me. "He doesn't have any ulterior motives by telling me his name," I shrug.
"But how did you know?" Latino boy asks. "Also; I'm Leo Valdez, Bad Boy Supreme!"
"I'm a good judge of character?" I try. And no, I don't normally act like this. I just feel like I can trust both Leo and Percy. What is wrong with me? It must be the nerves about which house I'll be sorted into...
Leo smiles. "I can't relate. Anyway, she's Piper McLean, she's Hazel Levesque, she's Annabeth Chase, she's Thalia Grace, he's Jason Grace, he's Frank Zhang, and moody boy is Nico di Angelo."
"I'm not moody," Nico grumbles.
"No, you're Moony." I mutter, then smirk at my own joke.
"Moony?" Jason asks suspiciously.
"My father's nickname," I mumble.
"I'm your father?" Nico asks, repulsed.
"No." I say quickly. But there's something different about them... but how do I figure it out? Then, an idea hits me. " I'm going to change into my robes, anyway. Um, have fun?"
I exited the compartment quickly, but tripping over different sets of feet. I guess I am not that discreet, because I leave my robes in the compartment, but I just really want to eavesdrop on them.
"I think she's cool." a girl I think is Thalia says.
"Of course you do," Nico snorts.
"What?" Thalia defends herself. "She's snarky, but it's obviously an act, she's obviously got a sense of humor, and she's cunning. You can tell from how she's quiet at the right times, but she knows who to trust. Well, we're all trustable, but I think she can tell that you're a warrior, Reyna, but Percy's... well, I think she knows that he's extremely loyal. And if she earns his trust, he'll side with her no matter what. Don't ask me how she knows this, but she does."
"And she's also eavesdropping." a voice whispers from right behind me.
