How any child of yours is punctual, never mind a week early..." Harvey teased, clapping Mike on the back fondly. "Well" Mike retorted with a yawn - he and Rachel had arrived at the hospital at 6pm and it was now 8am the following morning - "they *are* half Rachel". "Ah", Harvey winked at the new mother "that'll explain it then". Donna gave her husband a slap on the arm, as she squeezed past him to hug Rachel who looked exhausted but victorious.

Donna gently pulled up the hat on the sleeping baby in Rachel's arms so she could get a proper look. She slipped a finger into the open palm and even in sleep the newborn grasped it tightly. "This is Donna, Anna, she's a very wonderful woman" Rachel whispered tearfully to the baby. "Anna?" Donna paused in her cooing to ask. "Yes, we noticed a pattern - Donna, Laura, Nina, Jessica - all the strong women we know share a name trait" Rachel explained with a beam. "Oh, did you hear that, Harvey? I'm a role model!" Donna said with a happy sniffle. "You got triple letters - Rachel's mother only got one letter similarity" Mike stage-whispered. "Mike!" Rachel glared at him.

"And this one?" Harvey quickly broke in before Mike got himself in further trouble, peering over Mike's shoulder at the second sleeping baby, who was snuggled deep in the crook of his father's elbow, nose tucked against the soft jumper fabric. "Harvey Specter, meet James Robert Zane-Ross", Mike announced proudly and Harvey leant forwards to gently stroke a cheek, causing the baby to make a hopeful sucking action in his sleep and both men to laugh.

"Oh, so Donna gets a naming shout-out but I don't?" Harvey jested. "Well, you're many things Harvey, but a strong woman isn't one of them" Mike fired straight back, carefully handing his newborn son over into Harvey's ready arms, whilst Rachel and Donna negotiated a similar manoeuvre. Donna glanced up from staring adoringly at Anna to watch Harvey swaying slightly, muttering to the newborn about how much of an ass his father was. He looked so natural and relaxed and Mike, having hovered protectively initially, slowly backed off, going to slump against Rachel on the bed.

"Mike" Rachel muttered disapprovingly, with a chin jerk towards Harvey, but Mike ignored the hint and said nothing, just kissing her head softly. Donna couldn't help but wonder if, amongst the overwhelming pride in his rookie's (Mike would always be Harvey's rookie) beautiful new family, there wasn't a tiny bit of Harvey which had been hoping his name was represented after hearing Donna's inclusion. Not that James' name wasn't lovely and meaningful. Just that she thought she had spotted his shoulders slump fractionally as Mike pronounced child's second name.

"Mike!" Rachel hissed again, less tactfully this time, pointedly looking at Harvey. Mike smiled and conceded with a nod. "Harvey" he called, getting the closer's attention, which had been entirely on the infant he gently rocked. "Harvey? You haven't asked what Anna's middle name is." Harvey looked confused, as did Donna. Mike and Rachel were beaming at Harvey in a manner he couldn't fathom. "You didn't actually use Gertrude? Or Geraldine? That was a joke, champ, you can't do that to her!" Harvey exclaimed as he moved closer so he could catch a closer glimpse of the baby in question - the names referred to some of the deliberately unfashionable suggestions Harvey had been coming up with daily since Rachel broke the news.

It was Rachel who finally put him out of his misery. "She's Anna Harriet Zane-Ross - we wanted both godparents represented.". "Godparents?" Donna squealed delighted, although Mike was surprised she hadn't seen that coming. The little girl she held stirred and stretched at Donna's gleeful movement, giving the impression the newborn was trying to high-five her excited godmother. Harvey said nothing, couldn't say anything, but smiled gratefully at Mike and snuggled his godson a little closer. Yep, Rachel thought happily, these twins of hers were incredibly lucky babies.
