Chapter 1: The Position

Ah, California… so fascinating. So wonderful. Here we see Elmore. Where everything is destined to come alive. Once upon a time there was a cat named Gumball. He was going to apply for a job at Joyful Burger. The story starts with gumball waking up. He then slid down the stairs wearing nothing but ice cubes into his clothing. He then started to get ready for his job. Eager he starts lifting weights to warm himself up. Anies wished Gumball good luck getting the job while he walked out of the door. Gumball then started jogging to Joyful Burger. Gumball reaches Joyful Burger but then decides that he is not ready. Anies stops Gumball in his tracks and says that he was born for the job. Gumball eventually decides to go to Joyful Burger to get the job. When Gumball walks into Joyful Burger, Mr. Robinson sees him run in the restaurant, making him panic, telling Larry to watch out for Gumball. Gumball has already arrived though, and tries to get Larry to give him the job. Gumball told Larry that Mr Robinson will vouch for him, but Mr. Robinson tells Larry, somewhat away from the cat that he doesn't believe that Gumball deserves the job. Larry playing games with Gumball told him that he needed to get a hydrodynamic spatula to get the job. Gumball then quickly ran to the Dumpstore to get it, as Mr. Robinson and Larry started to laugh. A few buses of filled people arrived at the restaurant, leaving Mr. Robinson and Larry petrified as the latter knows what happens when people come. As the people flood the restaurant, Mr. Robinson tries to settle them down, but that only angeres them more. The people have flooded the restaurant it seemed as the two were finished, but Gumball comes back with his new hydrodynamic spatula. Gumball goes into the kitchen to cook a ton of burgers and tosses them to all of the hungry people until all are satisfied and leave the restaurant. After that Larry Gave Gumball the official position as fry cook due to bringing him a lot of money, much to Mr. Robinson's dismay. Anies then asks for an order causing Gumball to cook a ton of Joyful Burgers and tossing them all to her, flinging her out of the restaurant ending the story.
