Half a year had passed since Trunks and Haruka had returned form the past. The androids and cell had been defeated and the people started to rebuild their lifes. Trunks stood on the terrace of the capsule corp. deep in thoughts. He had planned a surprise for Haruka and hoped that she would like it. Suddenly he heard someone giggly behind him and turned around. There she stood the women he loved so much. Her long black hair flew over her back and her dark eyes shimmered like always when she looked at him. Her normally petite frame was broken by her expanded belly. "You're already back?" Trunks asked and went to Haruka. She smiled when he kissed her forehead. "Yes and everything's alright." She laid her hand on her belly while she said that. Trunks smiled as well and laid his hand beside hers and could feel how the baby moved. At first he had been angry, not because Haruka was pregnant, but because she hadn't told him and had even thought against Cell. Only after he had defeated the androids in their time she had told him. "Do you want to know what it's gonna be?" Haruka asked Trunks. He raised an eye brow and shook his head. "I want to be surprised." Haruka grinned and stood on her tiptoes to kiss her boyfriend. "Speaking of surprises I got one for you", Trunks said as he led go of her. Haruka looked confused to him, but Trunks took her hand and raised in the air. Together they flow to the palace of god where they were already awaited. "Trunks there you are again and that's Haruka?" they were greeted by Dende. Surprised Haruka starred at the namekian, she had already meet him in the past, but she hadn't a clue how he had gotten here now. "Trunks?" Haruka asked and looked confused up to him. "My mother has developed a device with witch we could contacted new namek and after I have described them our situation Dende has agreed to come here." "Your brother was a good friend of mine, I had no other choice", Dende said and took Haruka's hands. "That's not the surprise is it?" Haruka who had the feeling that that wasn't all asked. Trunks shook his head and pointed at seven orange balls who lay on the ground behind Dende. Harukas eyes grew big, this were the dragonballs. Dende grinned and called for the holy dragon, who immediately asked for their wish. Trunks and Haruka exchanged a glance. "We wish that all who were killed by Cell or the androids live again", said Haruka. The eyes of the dragon glowed red, then he disappeared and the dragonballs spread in all directions. Trunks took Harukas hand and squeezed it, she than laid her head on his shoulder. "Haru? Trunks?" Haruka startled and turned fast around, she had never thought to hear this voice again, but there he stood completely healthy. Immedialty Haruka let go of Trunks hand and through herself into the arms of her brother. "Gohan I missed you so much", she sobbed to his chest. Calmingly Gohan stroked his sisters back until she let go of him and smiled at him. "It's good to see you again", Trunks said while he stepped closer to the siblings. Gohan smiled while he shook Trunks hand. Then he looked closer at his sister and former student, they were both older than the last time he have seen them. "I see you have gotten together at last and that pretty successful." Haruka turned bright red and laid her hand on her curved belly, it was pretty embarrassing for her. Trunks just wrapped an arm around her waist and kissed her temple. "Yes I hope you don't mind being uncle Gohan from now on." Gohan laughed and shook his head. The three thanked Dende and flew back to the Capsule Corp.
"Trunks can I finally take of this thing?" Haruka asked angry and pulled at the blindfold Trunks had put on her after she had gotten into the car. Because Haruka was highly pregnant she wasn't allowed to fly be herself. "Soon", Trunks said and pulled forward by the hand. Finally he stopped. "Now" Trunks said and Haruka took of the blindfold. She had to blink a few times before she realized where the were. They stood under the weeping willow close to her father's grave. To her left was a little cliff and beneath it a lake, if you sad on the cliff you could nearly touch the lake with your feet. Here Haruka and Trunks had kissed for the first time. "Trunks what are we doing here?" Haruka asked and looked at her boyfriend. He brushed his hair behind his ear, something he only did when he was nervous. Haruka found that quite cute, but she would have liked to be at home, because she was feeling strange. "Haru you know how much I love you and that I would do everything for you." At this word Haruka pulled a face if it was the thought that Trunks had sacrificed himself for her at the cell games or the pain that through her body she didn't know. "Please don't think I'm only doing this because you're pregnant I'm totally serious." Trunks dropped on one knee and took a jewel case from his pocket. "Your mom and Gohan did agree the only thing you've got to do is say yes. Haruka would you marry me?" Trunks asked and opened the case, in it was a plain silver ring. Haruka wanted to answer when a sharp pain shot through her body. "Tunks I think the baby is coming", she said with a shacking voice. Immedialty Trunks was back on his feet. "Are you sure?" he asked and wrapped his arm around Haruka. She just nodded and Trunks took her into his arms and flew her into the next hospital. There Haruka was taken from him and brought straight into the delivery room, but he wasn't allowed to go with her, because they weren't married. Trunks cursed himself and went to one of the phones to call his mother. In the following hours it was like Trunks was sitting on needles, his mother, Gohan and Chi-Chi tried to calm him down unsuccessfully. Finally, a nurse stepped out of the delivery room. "Mr. Briefs!" she called Trunks to her. Trunks had gotten up and went to the nurse. "Congratulation you've got a healthy boy. You can go to your girlfriend." Trunks didn't need to be told twice, the nurse could only call after him where he could find Haruka than he was gone. As he entered the sickroom he was greeted by a wonderful picture. Haruka sad on the bed her gaze downward and on her naked chest was a small bundle. "Hei", Trunks said and got closer to the bed. Haruka looked at him briefly and than looked back at their boy. "Isn't he wonderful", she said and stroked the cheek of the baby. Trunks simply smiled and sad down on the edge of the bed and stroked his son's cheek as well. "By the way", Haruka said and looked at Trunks. "Yes." Trunks looked away from the baby and looked irritated at Haruka. "What?" he asked. "My answer to your question", Haruka laughed. Trunks needed a minute before he understood what Haruka meant, than he got out the ring and put it on Haruka's left ring finger.
Nervously Haruka played with her locks. Had her mother seen that she surely would have beaten her hands, but her mother had gone out some minutes ago. Soon Gohan would come to guide her to the altar. Haruka led her hand drop and sighed, she wishes so much that her father could be here and do that. There was a knock on the door and Gohan put his head through the door. "You look great", he said and hugged his sister. "Thanks", she said and smiled sadly. Gohan laid two fingers under her chin and pushed her head up. "I'm sorry I just wished that father could be here today", Haruka said and turned away from her brother. "Oh, by the way I won't guide you to the altar", Gohan said and had to surpass his laughter. "What!" Shocked Haruka turned around again. "He's gonna do it." Gohan stepped away from the door and an other man stepped into the room. It was nobody else but Goku. "How?" Haruka looked confused at her brother. "Apparently Dad has still a day on earth." "I can't miss my daughter's wedding", Goku said and wrapped his arms around Haruka. Gohan left the room and left the two alone. "You're as beautiful as your mother, but tell me who's the happy one?" Goku asked his daughter and took her in. "Hasn't Gohan told you that?" Haruka asked and Goku shook his head. Haruka was about to answer when Gohan reappeared and informed them that they where ready. "Well", Goku said and offered his Arm to Haruka. The ceremony was soon over and Haruka and Trunks accepted the gratulations of the attended. Chi-Chi had brought baby Vegeta to his parents. Then two man came to the bridal pair. Haruka exchanged a glance with Trunks. It looked like he'd known that not only her father but his father as well had been granted a day in the world of the living. An old woman who was sitting on a crystal ball was with them. "We have to leave I'm sorry", Goku said and scratched the back of his head. "But the day is not over yet", Haruka said. "The day was granted to us at the same time, that's why it's shorter for both of us", Vegeta interrupted. Goku hugged his daughter once more carefully not to crash his grandson. Then he laid a hand on Trunks shoulder. "Take good care of them or I will find a way to beat your ass from the afterworld." Goku said it playfully, but Trunks felt that he was serious. Vegeta shook Trunks hand and then turned to Haruka. "You'll make it", he said and a soft expression got on his face when he looked at the baby in her arms. Then the two disappeared with the women. Trunks wrapped an arm around his wife and pressed her close. Even if today was a sad and happy day, life was good after all.
