Disclaimer: I do not own Star Wars
36,5 ABY
After the Battle of Exegol there are uprisings all around the Galaxy.
The Resistance with the help of the New Republic becames stronger by each day.
The First Order loses major territories but is far from giving up.
Suddenly General Poe Dameron receives a message that turns out to be very important.
I was walking on a street. It was dark, cold and empty. I crossed my arms in front of my chest, hoping that it would warm myself up a bit. Strange, I had a feeling that I wasn't alone, but I looked around I didn't see anyone. Suddenly a figure emerged in front of me. He wore an old brown cloak, like a Jedi, but for some reason he gave me the chills. I took a step back, unsure what to do. The figure raised his arm and ignited his lightsaber. That's when I decided to run, but he lifted me up with the Force. I scrachted the air around my neck desperately, to get some oxygen into my lungs. He raised his lightsaber to finish me off. Then I woke up. I felt like was going to have a heart attack. I took a few deep breaths and stared at the ceiling. Going back to sleep after this wasn't really a option so I had a lot of time think about my what I just saw. Suddenly someone knocked on my door. It made me jump a bit. I should have seen that coming. I thought. I should pull myself together. The door opened.
"Poe wants to see you. " said Connix.
"He could have just call me. " I muttered.
"He did. Six times, but you didn't answer." noted Connix and pointed at my comlink. I told her to give me a minute. I took few deep breaths than got up and started doing my morning routine. When I finished Connix was waiting for me outside. She led me to Poe.
"Well. You surely didn't rush." remarked Poe. I wanted to say something sassy, but I didn't know what to say so I decided to leave it at that and ask a question instead.
"So what's the problem?"
"It's Leia's testament. " said Poe.
"I thought she left her money to the Resistance." but I wasn't sure about it because I didn't read it, but I thought it would be logical.
"Well yes, but no. She left some things to a random girl called Izana Haaron. " he explained.
"That was so important?" I raised my eyebrow.
"It IS important. We can't have the money until the girl gets her part!" Poe raised his voice.
"Wow... You're a real gentleman. " I chuckled.
"Resistance needs that money. YOU will have to bring her here. " stated Poe. He seemed a bit frustrated so I decided not to push my luck and ask a question instead.
"What do we know about her?" Poe waved to Connix.
"She was born in 23 ABY, on Coruscant. Her mothers name is Mariana Haaron. The father is unknown. Her mother died two years ago. I was adopted, but ran off. " she handed me the files of the girl. I didn't really care about her datas, I needed the picture. The girl was pretty pale. She had long red hair and big baby blue eyes. It must be an old picture. I thought, because she didn't look 13. There was something strange in her but I couldn't put my finger on it. "Today someone reported her on Coruscant in a bar. The address is in the files. "
"You have to be fast. We don't want to lose her track again. " commented Poe.
"Okay, I'll be fast. " I answered then waved to BB-8. "Let's go BB!"
"What? I won't let you take BB-8?" Poe asked.
"I may need him. " I said. "I'll take care of him." Poe didn't look convinced.
"Yeah, like you did last time? "
"That was more than a year ago!"
"You dropped a tree on him!"
"That was an accident!"
"That doesn't make it better!"
"It never happened again!"
"Yet!"
"You know what?" I huffed. "Let's ask BB-8! BB, would you like to come with me?" I turned to the little droid.
"Of course. " he beeped.
"See?" Poe rolled his eyes.
"Okay." he muttered with a hint of frustration in his voice. "You better don't destroy him!" he shouted after us, as we made our way towards the Falcon. I rolled my eyes. He really liked to rub it into my face when the tree fell on BB-8. Maybe it was because I said that I'll never let him use the Falcon again...
I thought but getting some sleep on the way to Coruscant, but after that dream, it wouldn't be very good idea. So I decided to read Luke journal, again. I tried to memorize as much as I can, but it still didn't made me feel any less stupid. I had enough of this Jedi thing. After Leia's death I was the last Jedi. Of course my incredible knowledge and some old texts weren't always the best source of information so I started searching for old Jedi stuff. But I didn't find anything helpful. I thought of teaching Finn about the Force, but it wasn't the right time. Poe said that now fighting off the First Order is more important, than my Jedi business and this was one of the few things we could agree on.
I started reading, but quickly fell asleep. I was on the same empty street, running. It was cold and dark but I was more concerned with something else. I looked behind my back constantly. I thought someone was following me. I accidentally ran into someone and fell into a puddle. I looked up. It was the same figure I saw in my previous dream. I started scraching the air around my throat as he lifted me up with the Force. My vision became blurry and I felt like the world was spinning. The last thing I saw was the blue light of his saber.
I woke up panting. What the hell was that?! I asked myself. I had dreams before, about Ach-to, Ben or becoming the Empress... But those were different, clear. I just couldn't understand what being killed by someone who looks like a Jedi, but obviously isn't a Jedi meant. I sighed and took a deep breath. We'll arrive soon. I thought as I looked at the time.
Fortunately it was pretty hard to miss the bar. There aren't many places called: 'The Hole.' I had a strange feeling as I was looking around. This place is full of criminals. I turned to BB-8 before entering.
"If anyone tries to steel you, shock them!"
"You don't have to worry about me." he beeped back. I went to the bartender.
"Hello! Have you seen that girl?" I asked, showing him the picture. "Her name is Izana Haaron."
"Yeah, I know her. " he said. "She's at the table playing."
"Are you aware that she's underaged?" I cloudn't help, but ask this.
"Well... She had money..." he answered. I didn't know what to say, so I went to find the table he mentioned. It wasn't very hard to find. I immediately spotted the girl. I was right, the picture was old. She looked a bit different. Mostly she was paler and her face was skinnier.
"Izana Haaron." she looked at me with suspicion in her eyes.
"Can I help you?" she asked.
"I need you to come with me. " I said. Her eyes widened, she froze for a minute, then started running. I really should've thought out something else. I followed her to the street. She was surprisingly fast. I eventually had to stop, to breath. I thought I lost her track when, suddenly I felt something. A presence. It was so cold. It felt like I was freezing. I was afraid, but something told me to follow it. I quickly found myself on the street from my dreams. The figure was there holding the girl in the air. "Put her down!" I ignited my lightsaber. He dropped the her to the ground then, started walking towards me slowly. When he was in front of me, he ignited his lightsabers and stared at me for a while. His first attack was a bit unexpected, I could barely block it. I pushed him back with the Force, but he pushed back. His blows so strong that I needed both of my hands to block them. I didn't like being defensive, it wasn't my style. I looked around, trying to find something that can help me. I found some a piece of broken glass. I quickly reached out with my left hand and threw them into his leg, but he didn't even flinch. He cut into my left arm, that hurt like hell, but I tried to continue. I was becoming slower and exhuasted. I couldn't block his next blow. Overwhelming pain rushed through my body as one of his lightsabers cut deep into my shoulder. I felt nauseous. I held my lightsaber in front of me, but he quickly knocked it out of my hand. I stumbled backwards, trying to use the Force, but I couldn't concentrate. He kick me in the guts, than knock me onto the ground and stepped on my hands, but could barely feel it from the throbbing pain in my shoulder. He was looking at me, but I could barely see him. My sight was blurry, I was close to blacking out, when something hit me. A wave in the Force. The next thing I knew was that the girl pulled me up and started dragging me. She was shouting but I couldn't hear a word. The world was melting around me. The only think I could clearly feel was the Force, radiating from the girl.
