in a span of two weeks, the infected people in my dearest country went from 8 to 700! no to mention the government hasn't done mass testing so all asymptomatic have not yet exposed. (SHIT we have probably have thousand unrecorded cases)
and then our dear elected official just shows how stupid they are by letting some infected loose! and at top of that one positive patient roam in a hospital endangering the poor nurses and doctors of that institution.
if the government told you to stay at home. THEN STAY AT HOME.
It is really scary,! and the elderly are the most affected ones.
I am not sure what will happens right after this lockdown to my country.
But I'm pretty sure it will turn all right. Hopefully.
And because of that, my mind went into a very imaginative phase. I saw my favorites characters as doctors! Well, I always wanted to write a fic that Nanoha is a badass surgeon, so here it is!
But the story does not evolve on a very deadly virus, so those who waiting to read for a zombie apocalypse theme... Nah, it will never happen in any of my stories...

Nanoha looked at her phone to check her patient's status.
She has one woman who got into an accident while driving, unfortunately; a drunk driver collided with her
The second one is a basketball player whose ankle got twisted so bad,
Then the last one is a cop that got mangled by a dog.
She sighed all three needs surgery, and currently, her attendee is away from a conference, he already gave her a go signal to lead the operation of the woman who is in critical condition. However, the board still reviewing it, damn these doctors just wasting time! Haven't she prove herself yet? And She's a fifth-year resident already, not to be boastful but she believes she can do it with her one hand tied at her back and blindfolded
"Hey!'" She looked at her right and can't help but smile to the woman walking towards her
"How is it?" Fate asked when she reaches her, she put her hands on her lab pocket while dashingly smiled at her girlfriend,
"(sighed) they still there, ( she looked back at the closed door of the conference room) we are wasting time! Can they just prioritize the patient's life rather than their ego?!" She asked raising her voice a little
"Well, I think they will give you a go, I mean we have Carim and Hayate there, There's no need to be agitated and nervous about it," Fate said while holding Nanoha's shoulder.
Nanoha just slumped more and looked up. She sighed hard again.
"Have you eaten?" Her girlfriend asked then sat beside her.
"No, I haven't. I've been busy in the Emergency Room the moment I went to my duty. Gosh, Why in all days, it has to be this hellish."
"Nanoha, you've been in the E.R. since yesterday, You haven't eaten since then? Please tell me no" Fate asked worriedly
"I ate a sandwich, don't worry" Nanoha sheepishly smiled at Fate
"When?" Fate asked while looking at her with concern, and she avoided her by looking back at the closed door
Scratching her chin, "Yesterday?" Nanoha replied
Fate with a looked of professionalism "Be specific please" said flatly
"Yesterday- Lunch?" Nanoha said while scooting away from her girlfriend who already glaring at her
"Nanoha, its already past noon! You haven't eaten for the last 24 hours?!" Fate said, then her phone beep, and she checked on it. " Okay, come with me." She said after she replied and put her phone back in her pocket
"Huh? Fate-chan, you know I can't go anywhere, I need to be here the moment the meeting is over" She said, pointing at the closed door again.
"No, what you need to be at the moment is at the cafeteria, eating. End of discussion so stand up" Fate said standing up herself then offer her left hand to her girlfriend
Nanoha scowled at Fate. Then she crossed her arms and slump more on the chair she' sitting at, indicating she has no plan leaving.
Fate sighed hard. " Do you really want to stay there?"
"I'm not going anywhere," Nanoha firmly said, not looking up to her girlfriend, who signed harder and looking frustrated. Honestly speaking dealing with Nanoha takes a lot of her patients rather than the kids she's taking care of.
"Okay then, you really want to this way, fine, I'll count one to five, if you failed to stand up by then and take the hand I'm offering to you, I'd swear I carry you on my shoulder to the cafeteria to eat" Fate smiled while offering her left hand again to her stubborn girlfriend
'You won't do that" Nanoha chuckled
"One- You don't believe me?" Fate asked While Nanoha rolled her eyes
"Two- I'll really carry you on that undignified way" Fate challenge, while Nanoha glare at her
"Fat-
"Three- I don't care if you trash or punch me; I can easily dodge and outweighed you, especially you are weak right now." Fate continues counting while smiling at Nanoha, who looked at her with disbelief. Honestly, in Physical strength, she can't beat her girlfriend, The woman is a head taller than her and work out daily despite their hellish schedule. She rather sleeps and binged watch K-drama in her day off and spare time.
"Four- " Fate bent her neck and shrugged her shoulder. Nanoha immediately took her girlfriend's hand. Fate quickly intertwined their fingers and put it in between her arm and kissed Nanoha's hand back. They walk to the cafeteria while shorter is glaring at the taller.
"I really can't believe you, Do you know how critical my situation right now!" Nanoha said to her girlfriend, who just looked at her passively.
"Fate-chan!" Nanoha said frustrated
Fate sighed and looked worriedly at Nanoha. "Before I went to you, I checked Jane Doe. The Nurse told me she's stable-." Fate raised her free hand to Nanoha to shut up when she's about to argue. " Yes, she's in critical condition, I know, BUT She's stable, so have some slack," Fate pleaded. She's really worried about her girlfriend. The woman once forgot about her health and worked for a 48-hour shift without taking a break nor eating. Her heart almost forgot how to beat when she heard Nanoha fainted because of fatigue after that.
Nanoha looked away from Fate, she's frowning, and Fate notices her right hand is rigidly closed.
At the cafeteria, Fate ordered a light meal for her girlfriend. They sat at the far left corner of the cafeteria. It's actually their favorite spot. The Mid hospital has the best scenic view, and they architecturally made use of it. The cafeteria is located at the back of the hospital, it has a curtain wall that gives you excellent lighting, ventilation, and view. And the far left corner is the best. Not only can you see everything, but it also has a shade when the sun is at its peak or setting. And not so many people go there because it is partially hidden from the entrance of the cafeteria by the center huge lighted aquarium.
Fate watched Nanoha eat. The latter was frowning despite eating her favorite food and with the person, she loves the most.
Fate coughed and sat straight then took her girlfriend freehand "By the way, Do you have any plan for today," Fate asked awkwardly, and Nanoha raised her eyebrow.
"Except for the surgery of Jane Doe, What are you planning to do? tonight?" Fate smiled gently at Nanoha while caressing her hand
Nanoha sighed then stop eating "Nothing, I just sleep after the surgery, I mean I've been awake for more than 24 hours and counting. I want some rest." She answered sarcastically while looking at Fate. She retracted her hand, Fate let it go without resisting.
"I'm sorry that was a stupid question, " Fate sadly said, Nanoha ignore the pang of guilt she felt and continue eating. She's pissed, tired, worried, anxious, and irritated.
" I just thought after our dinner you might want to watch some movie, or walked to the park and see that dancing fountain -"
"Woah, our dinner?" Nanoha cut Fate; this time, Fate is the one who raised her eyebrow at her.
"Yes, We have a dinner date tonight, did you forgot -
"Of course, I forgot about it. I mean, I don't even remember when we plan this dinner date!" Nanoha defended herself before Fate finish her sentence. She does not need Fate to make her feel more guilty.
Fate just sighed. She smiled and understandingly nod to her irritated lover.
After some time, "Happy Birthday," Fate greeted her and took her hand to kiss it.
"Huh?" Nanoha asked, her brain suddenly hanged or shut down for a moment
"Nanoha, love. It's March 15, It's your birthday" Fate explained
Nanoha felt terrible. Yes, she knows it is March 15, but she forgot that March 15 is her birthday. Her personal phone is at her locker, and she's only using her work phone since yesterday, and its been hell since then. She's a bitch to her girlfriend, who just so .. ARG she hated this day. Not March 15, her birthday, but this day. She really won't forget this one. She sighed and look at the woman who smiled gently at her. This made her feel guilty even more. She immediately looks up to stop her tears.
"I'm sorry, I-" Nanoha stops and shakes her head. She covers her face with her hand and sobs quietly. Fate immediately stood up and move beside Nanoha. Then she gently hugged her and remove her hands to her face.
Smiling gently, "Hey, it's okay, I understand. Don't cry, please." Fate said, then she tucked Nanoha's hair behind her ears. Then they kissed gently.
"I love you," Fate said after they kissed.
"I love you too so much" Nanoha replied, she hugged her girlfriend tight "I'm really so sorry."
"Shh. It is okay, I don't have a gift to you, so it's even" Fate chuckled returning the hug. Nanoha moved away and smiled,
"I don't have a gift?" She faked pouted to her girlfriend, who just laughed at her. They kissed again longer than the kiss they shared a while ago.
"What do you want then?" Fate asked, kissing her girlfriend one more before resting her forehead to her.
"Operate Jane Doe," Nanoha huskily said, then remove herself to her girlfriend, who looked worriedly at her.
Fate kissed Nanoha to her temple ."Other than that?" She asked
Nanoha just shrugged.
"I can grant you three wishes, " She said happily
Smiling " Hmp, You can grant me three wishes, yet you can't even grant me the first one I asked?" Nanoha said she looked at Fate, who just smiled at her.
"Because the first one is already on the process to become true without you wishing on it, do you really want to waste your one wish?" Fate said knowingly. Nanoha quint her eyes to her girlfriend, who smiled at her.
"What are your three wishes?" Fate asked again
"Do I even have one?" Nanoha asked herself out loud
"Of course! Everyone has a wish, so tell your guardian angel, and she'll happily grant it, all at once" Fate said proudly
"Hmm, even some impossible dreams?" She asked, looking seductive at her girlfriend.
"Yes," Fate grinned
"hmmm… " Nanoha think, then she took her girlfriend right hand
" I always wanted to be a surgeon., ever since I was a kid. So I want to be an attendee right now" She looked at Fate who smiled at her sheepishly
"I'm serious Fate-chan I want to be promoted," Nanoha said flatly at Fate, who just nodded at her. She sighed. she then leans on her girlfriend beside her who hugged her in return
"The second one, I want my dad to know my accomplishments and see his smile once again" She felt Fate kiss on her hair then pat her back.
"The third one…." She paused. Fate moved her a little so they can see each other.
"Marry a wonderful loving Person," Nanoha said, not looking at Fate.
Fate smile suddenly vanished from her pretty face. Nanoha looked at Fate, and they stared at each other.
After some time, it was Fate who breaks the staring competition and moves back in front of Nanoha.
She put her hands on the table and closed it then she plays her fingers, Nanoha smiled and finish her meal.
"Well, the first one is already ongoing, Did you just wasted it? Fate spoke suddenly and grinned at Nanoha, Who smiled too, ignoring Fate statement
"Then the second one… Hmm, My mother always told me you can't have everything, it's the law of the universe. Let's skip it. " She said grinning at Nanoha, whose jaw dropped and then chuckled unbelievable to her girlfriend.
Teasingly "I though you can grant anything I wish for?" She asked
"well, I can't argue with the law of the universe, besides if you can have everything, then you'll never grow. so, granting your second wish is on probation, but don't worry, I'll try to negotiate it for you." She said, smiling, she's speaking like how she talked to her patient that were children. Nanoha just leaned on her chair and nodded, laughing and playing along with her girlfriend.
Fate then coughed, Then look directly at Nanoha. "the third one depends on you actually" She said
Nanoha's facial expression turns blank, she looks at Fate, curious about what she will say. All the jesting and playfulness left Fate's side now. She looked at Nanoha seriously.
"Marry me," Fate stated, not asked.
Both of their worlds stops, and it seems it just the two of them at that moment. Nanoha's facial expression is still blank. Before she speaks to break the silent Fate beat her.
"I mean, you want to marry a wonderful loving person right?, I think I can be that." Fate said. Her joyful tone of voice masked the nervousness she felt right after she said the two words that felt like a nuclear bomb that cleaned everything on her mind for a second except the person right in front of her.
Fate coughed and sit up straight, Nanoha's blank face is not helping to ease her nervousness, she opted to downplay the seriousness of the situation. The same how she handles children with a very critical and dangerous case. Honestly talking to a hysterical kid's parents that their kid needs to be open up is a lot better than talking to a blank face Nanoha.
"Do you need proof? She raised her had to stop Nanoha who is about to open her mouth to speak "let me state it one by one" Fate continued grinning not giving Nanoha a moment to speak
"Physically, I think I'm awesome," She said jesting. This made Nanoha smirk a little
"I mean, Everbody is telling me, I'm a living goddess here on earth" She boasts. Nanoha raised her eyebrow at her now. Fate laughed, but she still nervous.
"Financially, hmmm… I think… if you looked at my family background, I could warrant you I came from a rich Family" She proudly said while raising her chin. Nanoha squints her eyes.
Bragging more. "My mom is a neurosurgeon with a two Nobel award under her name, and my dad is a famous artist. that has a million dollars commissions every month you do know that, right?" Fate grinned.
"Yeah, but that makes them the rich one, not you" Nanoha counter, which makes Fate sarcastically smiled
"I'm still they only heir," Fate clarify. Nanoha just shrugged and sip a little water from her tumbler.
"Mentally," Fate looked outside while caressing her chin again
"I think I'm a brilliant person," She said more to her reflection rather than to her girlfriend, who covers her mouth with her hands to stop herself from laughing.
"What? I'm a smart person Nanoha, you know that, right? And I'm mature" She said, she smiles dashingly at her girlfriend this time Nanoha blush and stops laughing. Then they both smile at each other, returning the atmosphere before Fate said the two words.
Fate knows she should let it be, but her heart telling her something, and she chooses to listen to it.
"So marry me? because if those things are not enough to make me a wonderful person then these reasons may. " She paused
" I know you are the only one I'd ever love and will love." Fate said. Directly looking at Nanoha, her nervousness left, and honesty seems to be one controlling everything now.
"I can't imagine anyone beside you. At this moment where I'm telling myself that I'm ready to settle down. Agreeing to myself, I can't live without this person, accepting that I need this person more than anything. This person. " Fate closes her eyes as she breathes in and out. Opening her eyes, she finds that the slate blue eyes she loves so much are looking directly at her. It gives her confidence and solidifying her faith at this moment.
"This person. the one right in front of me now; is the only person that I can, wants to, and needs to be emotionally attached without the thinking she can brutality detached it and destroyed." Fate continued
Smiling lovingly to the woman in front of Her "I'll care, treasure and love you" Fate promised to end the topic.
They were both silents after that. Fate knows her girlfriend can read her and know how nervous she is right now, unlike her. Fate actually can't read Nanoha. Nanoha is a master of pretending. Her defense mechanism is so strong.
Their friends keep on saying how different and alike they were. They like yin and yang. Water and fire. Light and darkness. To their colleagues and patients, Fate has a stern aura surrounding her that has a soft soul inside. In contrast, Nanoha has a loving demeanor with firm walls around her heart. It's scary, yet it's beautiful.
Both of their phone beep and they both looked at it.
"Nanoha, they agreed, you can lead the surgery. Scrubs in now, I already messaged nurse Nakajima to prepare Jane Doe. Use the Operating room 3 by the way, the board would like to watch you perform. Good luck! "
The messaged came from the chief of residents, their friend, Hayate.
"WOW, congrats, do your best okay," Fate said, smiling at her girlfriend. Fate received the message as well.
"Yeah, I'll scrub in. Thank you," Nanoha said, standing up. She looked at Fate, who gently smiled at her. She nods.
Turning her heel, " You don't know, need to answer me right away," Fate spoke. Nanoha stops looked at her girlfriend who still sitting and retaining that gentle smile
"Your third wish has always been available, and has been granted since you came in the world, it depends on you who was it," Fate said.
Nanoha nods and smiles. Before running to O.R. 3
She breathes deeply while scrubbing in. She raised her hands, then proceed to enter the surgery room.
Nurse Teana is the one who put her surgery gloves while Subaru smiled at her waiting beside their patient. She looked up to the gallery and saw the boards and the president of the hospital. The chief of surgery; Carim. Nodded at her as a form of saying good luck at her.
"Good day, I am Dr. Nanoha Takamachi, I'll be your lead surgeon for this operation. Let's save a life" She greeted and her team smile at her.
The operation is a success, the moment the surgery ended, everybody celebrates, and the higher-ups gave her loud applause. At the same time, her team keeps on telling her that was the best, and that was the hardest and successful surgery they ever saw. The way she has sewn, cut, and attached the muscles and nerves is so precise. Jane Doe did not even have any complications during the surgery or even in the future.
She was the only one in the area of the scrub when Carim entered.
'Congratulation," She said, Nanoha smile and continue washing her hands.
After a few moments, Carim went near her and stood beside her to look at the operating room.
"How are you feeling?" She asked looking at Nanoha
"Great," Nanoha said taking the towel to wipe her hands
"You think you can do that from now on?" She asked, Nanoha stopped and looked at the chief.
"Ma'am?"
"Your application to be an attendee has been approved, you are promoted, Congratulation Dr. Takamachi," Carim said, extending her hand for a shake. Nanoha can't believe it.
"really?" She asked ignoring the handshake and continue wiping her hands
"Yup!. That's actually the reason why the meeting took some time" Hayate suddenly said, she fully enters the scrubs room and smile at her friend
A little bit bewildered "what do you mean?" Nanoha asked
"Your application was approved last night. I'm about to tell you about it, but you; suddenly asked to lead a very complicated surgery without your attendee supervising you." She said, pausing for a moment to look at Carim, who just smile and signal Hayate to continue.
"Director Do does not want you to perform this surgery-" Hayate raised her hands to stop whatever Nanoha will say
"For the reason, she's afraid if you make a slight mistake in this surgery your promotions might slip away worse they might fire you," Hayate said
"She's worried about you, honestly."
Nanoha smiled and Nodded. She knows by now that Director Do actually likes and cares for her despite the old woman's words and actions sometimes.
"So Congratulation, Dr. Takamachi; well done. You did great today," Hayate said, opening her arms for a hug. Which Nanoha immediately did.
They squeal and jump like when they were kids.
"Ahem," Carim said, stopping the two best friends.
"Congratulations, Dr. Takamachi; a good birthday gift, is it not? She smiles, Nanoha smile vanished as she suddenly remembers her FATE-Chan. DID Fate-chan know about this?
"You can take two days off, starting tomorrow" Carim continued, Hayate jaw dropped
"When I become an attendee, you don't even give me a break?! How come Nanoha has 2 days off!" She argues while Carim just shrugged.
"Who else knows about my promotion?" Nanoha asked
"no one except the three of us and the board. Nobody knows it since it was so late last night when I received the memo, and I told Hayate about it just this morning when I fetched her from her office to drag her in the morning meeting then you suddenly showed up asking for to lead a surgery, and the rest is history " Carim said
Nanoha can't help but smile as a lone tear escape her eyes. She immediately wipes it and excuses herself to her supervisors, who seem confused but decided not to question it, not Hayate. since, she can see a curious raccoon emitting to her friend, but Carim is there, so her behavior is monitored.
She ran, it took her five minutes to reach the pediatric department where her girlfriend was. She looked around and saw Fate talking to a parent in a room with a toddler sleeping in the hospital bed. It seems good since the father is happily shaking Fate's hand while tears flowing in his cheeks, just like his wife.
Fate turned around and saw Nanoha at the door. She walked towards her girlfriend then gently close the room. She taps a few times to her tablet, then hugs it.
"I assume it went well" She gently smile at Nanoha. Who smiles in return.
'yes, it is." She said, Fate nodded and walk towards the daycare at the center while Nanoha absently followed.
"I got promoted" Nanoha suddenly blurted when they at the center of the daycare, where kids surrounding them. Shocked, Fate turned around and looked at Nanoha, who smiled sheepishly at her. She suddenly hugs and lifted her girlfriend a little
"Wow, congratulations! That's great news! I mean, hahaha! You've been promoted! I- I'm so happy for you, I-I, what do you want? - I mean, do you want to eat in a more classy restaurant? Oh, Shoot- Sorry, I; you just want to get some rest, right? Do you wish to book in that five-star hotel? I think I remember they have a great spa and massage. Wait - I'll call- " Nanoha stops Fate, who frantically overjoyed about her success. She can't help but smile and looked at the woman she loves so much, A tear escaped her eyes.
"You know what" Nanoha spoke, she wipes her tear and smiled gently while caressing Fate's cheek
"Ever since I got the news, my dad's face has been on my mind, and he's smiling," Nanoha sobs and Fate-chan hugged her.
"and I can't wait to see you, " Nanoha sobs
"I'm sure where ever he is. That's exactly the face he has right now." Fate soothed, She then kissed Nanoha's temple. Nanoha nodded.
Chuckling " I never knew, this day will come to true" Nanoha said and remove herself from her girlfriend who just smiled at her
"You managed to grant my two wishes," Nanoha continued, her sobbing subsides. Fate smirked at her and looked at her with I told you so meaning
Nanoha suddenly looked down, and a forlorn looked showed on her face.
"Nanoha?" Fate asked, worriedly she gently cradle her girlfriend's face to look at her, but Nanoha suddenly removes Fate's hand and step backward. Fate was confused.
"Nanoha -
"But you Failed my third wish," Nanoha said, Cutting whatever Fate about to say along with her heart.
"Wait, WAIT! What?" Fate said. Her breath becomes heavy, a massive headache is already on its way.
"I don't understand what. What the hell, What? I failed?! " Fate asked disbelief, Is Nanoha breaking up with her!? What did she do wrong? Did she scared Nanoha with her confession?! What!? How?!
"You are not my last wish," Nanoha said, looking down. Fate can't see her eyes because Nanoha's bangs were covering half of her face from her view.
Fate was speechless; she looked around, and thank goodness they were surrounded by toddlers who do not know what happens. She tried to stop her tears, but they keep on falling.
"I.. I see... I -I... I. " Fate paused, trying to control the damages. Is it still Repairable? The hell, What is happening?!
"Is there a-a-anything I can do to ma-make it, right? Fate stutters, her heart is breaking, everything is falling apart. Her whole world if freaking collapsing and whirling
Nanoha still looking down; shook her head while her body is shaking.
Fate forked her bangs. She watches the children. Maybe their smile can ease the pain in her heart.
She wanted to open her skull and removed her brain that causing her headache then throw it away because of how useless it is in providing a solution. She looked back at her ex?! gosh that hurts like hell. NO, IT'S WORSE.
Fate wipes her tears and blinks to stop it for falling. She looked back at Nanoha. She's still looking down and shaking.
Fate wanted to comfort her. But, the hell just happened? Maybe it's Nanoha skull that needs to be open up and untangled some cerebral cortex. What she means is, What the hell happened that she needs to break a perfect relationship?
But looking at Nanoha right now, break her heart more because she knows the woman must be hurting too, and gosh, she loves this woman so much.
Fate breathes out loudly.
"Okay, " Fate looked up, wipe her tears again. Some of the kid's ages 7 -10 already looking and watching them, she smiles and asks them to ignore them and continue playing.
"hey," Fate said gently, then tried to hold Nanoha's shoulder to her shaking.
"I-(her tears falls again) Sighed
"I understand, please don't cry we can still see each other at work, I can manage, we can manage."
Nanoha hiccupped and wipes her tears, but she still not looking up At Fate.
"You can't be my third wish," Nanoha repeated, which breaks Fate's heart that shutters a million times already.
Then Nanoha took Fate's hands and finally looking up.
Smiling in tears "because you are more than them," Nanoha said.
Fate was shocked and stopped moving
Nanoha laughed and tiptoe to kiss Fate on the lips, which still frozen.
She rests her hands on Fate shoulder and smiles radiantly at Fate who lost at the moment
"You are a goddess, the word wonderful can't describe you. I think the words hot and gorgeous is more appropriate. or I think I should just shut up,"
( Nanoha is blushing hard) looking away from Fate but not removing herself from her.
Fate raised an eyebrow to the woman. How unorthodox can this woman be? one moment she's breaking her heart, then right now she magically putting it all back together like a jigsaw puzzle and all the cracks disappeared perfectly
"But you know what I don't want to shut up. I think you should listen to what I will say, regardless of how corny and cheesy it is. And the reason I can really say these words is because I know we are surrounded by babies who do not care and know what happens. And you really need to listen." Nanoha said without even a pause looking at Fate seriously, who smiles lazily at her.
"Nanoha" Fate called
"(Sighed) Listen Fate-chan, Physically I think you are more than wonderful, The word wonderful is underrated for you. I mean did you see yourself smile?, Gosh it's like ah...ahm... a star! yes, a star! " Nanoha said.
"a star? " Fate asked camly with one eyebrow raised at Nanoha
unfazed "yes, a star, okay? They shine without boasting or emphasizing it!" Nanoha muttered
Fate nodded "okay" she unenthusiastic said

"Second is Financial," Nanoha continued then looked directly at Fate
"honestly, I don't get why you need to brag your parents for that?" Nanoha asked Fate who was about to say something when Nanoha put her finger to Fate's lips shutting her.
"No, listen, you and Hayate have been shutting me this day; it is my time to talked."
Fate smiled and took the hand and kissed it, resting it on her chest after. "Fine" Fate said
"You've been a pediatric surgeon for 2 years now; there's no way you are not financially secure by far? And what the hell? Money really? Do you really think I'll marry a person because of money? I deserve better. "
Fate just nod.
Continuing, " I don't need a person with million dollars on his/her passbook since I know I can earn that, and I'll make sure I'll double mine!" Nanoha said with confidence.
"I just-" Nanoha cuts Fate before she speaks again
"What I need is someone I can go grow with, financially. Not someone who will just provide," She smiles,
"and I believe my girlfriend is the best example of that" Nanoha smiled lovingly at Fate.
Fate smile widely. She pulls Nanoha closer for a kiss, but Nanoha stops it again.
"Mentally," Nanoha said. she looked at Fate with disbelief
"You won the Robert E. Gross Award for Excellence in Pediatric Research and Achievement, the youngest if I may remind you,"
"How in the world you don't brag that to me? And you think? Fate-chan, you don't think about how smart you are! it's already a proven fact."
Fate laughed so hard that a tear escaped her eyes.
"Okay, " Fate said
"okay? No, you should say sorry for doubting yourself and setting the standard of being smart so high, wow really I'm impressed if you think you are not smart, what do you think about us?!" Nanoha sarcastically said
Smiling gently "I'm sorry," Fate said

"That's why I ask myself. Do I deserve you?" Nanoha finished her monologue and looked at Fate.
Fate was speechless. Then she smiles gently at Nanoha. Then kissed her.
"(sighed), Love. Listen to me okay" Fate said and Nanoha nod.
"I gave you my ample time because you're the reason why I had it." She smile when Nanoha looked at her confused.
"The reason I managed my time well because you are my inspiration, I wanted to see you as soon as possible; okay?" Fate said
"I gave you my attention because I need it too, I need to be with you, pampering is like a drug that I can't live without; did you know that?" Nanoha laughed and so does Fate.
Coughing to stop her laughed "If you think I love you more than you love yourself, then think about this. I love you because you are myself, You make me whole. You are my other half, Loving you is like loving myself WHOLE" Nanoha was rendered speechless, she felt how much Fate love her.
"You asked if you deserve me? Nanoha you are the reason why I have me" Fate said tearing a little but she was smiling
"YOU made this(fate step back and open her arms) You are the reason why this person made the word wonderful underrated for her" Fate Continued and Nanoha laughed a little
"You is the other half of this person. If you are gone-" Fate shrugs her shoulder and put her hands to her lab coat pocket. "This person won't even exist, So you deserve me, all of me" Fate smiled and Nanoha kissed her and she reciprocates.
"So what now?" Fate asked after they kissed.
Nanoha chuckled, "Do you think I'll let this go? You offer It right? I'm not crazy to let go of that deal" She said
Fate chuckled too "So are we? What? I think I need clarification after that stunt you did. You shattered my whole world for a moment there. Did I just propose to a human nuclear bomb? " She teased.
Nanoha laughed then she wipes Fate's tears that she did not know that they fell.
"I love you, Dr. Fate Testarossa. I don't think there's someone out there I'll choose over you. Because you are my Fate. MY one and only Fate. SO yes, YES. YES! A million YES, I'll marry you. "
Fate lifted Nanoha and swirl her. And even though she's crying like there's no tomorrow her smile show different emotion.

I have actually been watching good doctor,(Hence giving this fic some ideas) the k-drama, American series, and Japanese version Yeah,
I'm kind of addicted to it. Especially the American version but sadly a character that managed to caught my attention "Reznick"... The writer is treating her like garbage by half baking her character...Shame... HUHUHUHUHUHUHu

Fast fact, I wanted to post it on March 15, even though it was no way near to be finished and my life is too busy back then, so I gave up and decided to post it next year if I can get back to it. Then bang! a community quarantine was held and got stuck in my house without my working files. I can't go to my work to get my files since every gate of the subdivision I'm living has a military or police camping and checking and they only gave us one pass per household. The good thing I'm sure I have work after this, but the poor souls, the mass drivers they were really got hit hard. SO PLEASE if you care Don't go out.
Anyway, I hope everyone is safe and sound and just don't go outside until further notice from your government.
