Chapter 1
In hell, there is always destruction.
But today, there was destruction everywhere
Zamara walked through the city with her hands behind her head wondering what the hell all the commotion was all about. A demon ran past her screaming to no one," summoning, summoning, summoning, SUMMONING! " and just like that, her questions were answered. There hadn't been a demon summoning in years so it would explain why everyone was excited.
Zamara stopped by a tv shop that was showing the news in hell. The newsman said repeatedly, " today, a human will be attempting a summoning! Who will be the lucky demon she calls upon? " then the news went off playing a demon suspected to be summoned. Zamara shrugged it off as nothing as she walked to the city hall where all the demons were gathered, hoping to see which one of them was to be brought up to the mortal world.
Zamara stood off on the sidelines as she watched the demons become anxious to be chosen. One brave little brat got on the railing yelling at everyone, " IT'S GONNA BE ME, CLEA- " some other kid pushed him off before he could finish. Zamara laughed under her breath, this day couldn't be stupider to her. Soon enough, a fallen angel approached her. It was her best friend luna. " this sure is quite the riot. .right Zamara? " her friend was quite rare in hell, seeing how not many fallen angels exist anymore. " It's not like I would be summoned, so why should I care. .? " it was an honest question but she didn't know why she said it. Zamara was known to be the third strongest demon in hell, her power being known across all 7 shades.
" you might be summoned, you never know! "
" it's up to the human luna "
" still! "
Luna stared at her friend intensely. Getting a little freaked out, Zamara asked what was wrong
" I don't know... .you look. .different, somehow " Zamara didn't quite understand, she did nothing to change her appearance. Zamara had very unique features if you were to compare her to other demons. Her skin was a shiny silver that had strange patterns all over, some glowing and some not. Zamara's eyes were a blue that was unexplainable. Luna was positive that anybody would be given a headache if they tried to pinpoint the depth and detail in Zamara's eyes. Her hair was shaved on one side but that's where her features became beautiful, at the tip of her hair was another unexplainable shade of blue that glowed like fire. Her horns were curved like a rames and were decorated with upside down crosses, chains, and silver bands. As luna kept listing every detail on Zamara the crowd of demons became deathly quiet. Zamara pushed off the wall she was leaning on when her skin began to flake away, a black glow showing under Zamara held out her hand in front of her to get a better view and that's when luna shut up about her appearance and looked at her hands only to yell, " you've been chosen! " Zamara snapped her head to her friend when every other demon started to notice too, " impossible! I haven't been chosen in decades! '' her words were cut off when a pillar of black magic pulled her to the surface. Zamara passing out of the way to the mortal world
Zamara woke up levitating above a summoning circle in a criss-cross position, wondering where the hell she ended up. She set her feet on the floor and looked around. It was a bedroom but, where was her summoner? Zamara took one step out of the circle before she heard a door open slam and a girl appear in the room. She didn't know if the girl saw her or not but she said something anyways, " your reason for summoning me…? " the girl whirled around, her face was pissed before she beheld Zamara and screamed for a hot second. The scream honestly scared Zamara more than she scared the girl. Zamara covered her ears and hunched to the floor. Zamara had a short temper, and when it came to shit like this, it wasn't her strong point, " why the fuck are you screaming!? If you're that scared of me then you shouldn't have summoned me! " that seemed to the girl up more quickly than thought " s-sorry… " ever so slowly she inched closer to zamara and the more Zamara looked at her, she appeared...pretty. With her hair a long golden brown and seeming naturally curling most delicately while her face was petite, she looked a lot like an angel. "I'm sorry for screaming at you... I just didn't expect the thing to work.."
"it's fine, most people don't " Zamara stood up, just now realizing the height difference between them. She looked into the girl golden-like eyes and forgot everything for a second, " um, wha..what's your name? " the girl looked at her as she sat down on her bed, " angela " I suspected that was her name zamara thought crossing her arms across her chest "...and I want you to be my bodyguard " angela finished
