A Loud House's fanfic
oooOOOooo
Cristina sighed. Falling into a pit of uncertainty, she found her body venturing to novel places. To think, after the tender age of twelve, she received her mark towards adulthood. She didn't expect it to be quite serene while leaving an ever lasting impression. Even now as she touched her lips, she could still feel his feelings. Anxious yet oddly satisfying. Lincoln Loud was many things, but a stud was not one. Like her, he didn't know where to progress from there. A simple conjoined hands were the highest achievement they earned yet now they reached a new tier.
A whole new world to explore and the horizon seemed vast. Cristina was glad she was taking this journey with Lincoln. They both were a pair. But more than that, they were partners. Since they got together during a hot summer day, they made it an imperative to spend as much time as possible. No force from either end of their family could deny them of their rights. Especially when picking their upcoming classes for the new school year. With four out of the nine classes, they made sure to keep both the personal and professional in check. They were dating, but they were also students at Royal Woods Jr. High. Which meant they were expected to maintain performance made due by both families. Education was precedent to achieve their dreams, as their parents would declare. Both of them without complaint agreed. If one was to perform poorly, the both of them would deal with the consequences thereafter. Cristina excelling at science, offered to assist Lincoln with the material.
Lincoln placed his proficient understanding of the mathematical formulas on the table. And true to their word, they both assisted with the other person's weaknesses. Partners that made sure to speak their mind without the other clouding them. Cristina couldn't help but realize how different Lincoln was compared to the average teen boy. Being brought up with ten sisters did provide Lincoln with foresight that most boys failed to conceive. Girls were sensitive beings. Equipped with acute sense of observation. They were always looking and finding things to detect. Hence, their disapproval in matters that included behavioral and presentation. Lincoln understood this well, and made sure to input such knowledge when conversing with her. And like so, he presented her his hopes and expectation. Boys were also sensitive as girls, yet were not usually given proven grounds to express them. He was fortunate enough to be able to. His sisters encouraged communication. To keep the channel opened from both sides.
As they sat together, Lincoln felt the need to express his plans and schedule in a matter that displayed trust. Cristina shrieked with pleasure, muffling the sound with her pillow. He came to her, letting her own that he was going to be with his friends for the weekend. A camping trip that consisted the usual bunch as well as Stella. Being the precocious boy he was, he reassured her that his heart was no ones but hers. Being that two of his siblings played for the other team, Cristina should be more worrisome about the fact that most of his close friends were boys. They jested, but he did not end it there. In front of everyone, he provided them evidence. A seal of loyalty to one upmost person, followed by an embrace. His heart could not hide what fears it held for taking a bold approach.
And like his, she was feeling the impact of his actions. The concept of Love was but a seedling to them. It grew towards a new stage, and she was happy that it did.
Looking at her phone, she realized a message came. Lincoln replied with a quick notice of arrival. No harm fell before them as they began to settled at their campsite. The message also included a photograph of him along with his friends. They seemed excited to venture out in the woods. To settle whether or not man could really endure mother nature once more. That reminded Cristina to confirm her plans with her respective friends. They were going to her Aunt Jessie's salon to get their nails done.
And as she typed, a thought occurred to the girl. While at the salon, the girls would most likely ask about the status of her relationship with Lincoln. The fruit of their feelings that the curious kittens demanded with as much detail as possible. Sad to say, nothing she could say would satisfy these prying patrons. Love was a hot topic between the girls of any age. Even her sister became ensnared by the webs of curiosity. Her older sister was never much of a speaker, yet somehow she held a conversation with a close friend about several casts in the hit TV show Dream Boat.
No doubt, they were going to ask about that kiss. They all were thinking about it. The taste. Feeling. Impact, one could not forget to ask about the immediate impact. The after thought. And of course, would it simply be the first of many. She shook her head at dismay. So many inquiries, yet only one of the two to be present. Maybe she should disrupt his trip for a quick chat on speaker. Would he be okay with that? She pondered but later retracted. No. They were spending the weekend with friends. Their business was no one else's but their own.
Maybe she should invite him to her house for a change. Ever since they got together, she insisted on keeping all meet-ups away from her dwelling. He didn't mind it, but only had one question. Did her parents know about their intimate relationship. They did. However, the problem didn't lie on her mother or father. They both were quite accepting that their little girl was no longer quite so little. And Lincoln gave a great impression during the Royal Woods Fun Fair two weeks ago. The cause of distress she held resided in the presence of her elder sister. It was no secret that aside from Lincoln's two oldest sisters being popular, hers stood above them all. No one could deny that her sister was a goddess. Brought down to earth to display her beauty for all to see. She held so much power within the high school, she could get anyone to do her bidding. They would be more than happy to. All for the hope of receiving her blessings.
Cristina knew her sister held no vanity yet also knew that didn't stop the admirers from gazing their sights onto the well-endowed girl. Boys would misplace their heads. Many of which were in a committed relationship yet somehow find themselves entranced by her allure. That was something she feared would befall upon her boyfriend. And seeing an unfamiliar gaze in his eyes proved to the girl that she still feared. Fear of their relationship and the insecurities that dwell within her conscious. Although she was the most popular girl in Royal Woods Elementary, its Jr. High counterpart had many strong competitors. And they were within walking distance to the high school. The girls in her school could already see why Cristina was going out with a boy like Lincoln. A girl's dream guy stood before them. He was a jock of all trades and quite attentive.
She quickly detached that thought process from her mind. It only brought discomfort and despair. She trusted Lincoln. He was already accustomed to seeing girls since the majority of the people living in his residence were girls. But the thought that Lincoln looking at her sister in such a matter didn't sit well with her. She understood that her sister was older and that came with its gifts and returns. Comparing each other wouldn't be fair. The different in gap was clear and age played a huge factor.
Keeping that mentality firm, she decided to send a message to Lincoln upon his return. A simple evening with her folks to really close the gap between the two households, which meant prompting her sister in keeping it personal without the intimacy. That department would be left in her hands, seeing how she was his girlfriend.
Funny enough, she already missed him. They had spoken mere hours ago, but that didn't stop the feeling of vacancy to linger around. The loss left a gap that she really wanted to fill with his presence. She sighed once more, counting the hours before his arrival back to Royal Woods. Cristina could hardly wait.
