Mission was a success but it was a close call so I'll be partnered with another Android to guarantee it doesn't happen again but I hope it won't get in my way since it could happen but I will not tolerate it's nonsense...

Eve sat down next to a window looking outside in the vast green area thanks to the rapid growth agents spread throughout the air but even then it didn't stop ger from thinking about her new partner.
She had wondered how things would've ended like they had and if she paid more attention then it wouldn't have happened.
Two Days Earlier...
"Shit they're getting closer!" A YoRHa unit warned as he was trying to hold the machines back.
Machines had surrounded them but Eve managed to eliminate a great number of them but to no avail as they had grown in numbers time and time again.
"I'll try to hold them off." Eve told the units but felt a sharp pain and then the machines surrounded the Units and began to slaughter them all leaving Eve the last remaining unit standing.
"AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!" One of them let out before being silenced by getting their head torn off.
Eve stood there speechless as she could've ignored the feeling of pain and helped them but it was too late, every single YorHa unit had been ripped apart making them unrecognisable.
"I f-failed..." She spoke out to no one.
Hours Later...
A high ranking official stood before Eve who looked nervous.
"Unit 3v E, I had just gotten news about the attack that occurred and I'm very disappointed that you failed to prevent the deaths of your fellow androids , your years with us make me wonder if your defective." She spoke out to her.
"Negative Commander, I was injured by a machine earlier that day and I believe that's what made me fail to save them." She responded.
The Commander looked at Eve and nodded. "Alright Unit 3v E but this does mean that you'll be paired up with another unit to prevent this from happening again and please repair yourself in future okay, Glory To Mankind!" She said and put her hand on her chest.
She nodded and did the same. "Glory To Mankind!"
Now...
"Excuse m-me? Are you Unit 3v E?" Eve turned around to see a short boy brown haired.
"Yes I am, are you the unit paired with me?" Eve responded.
He stood still and nodded. "I'm Unit W4 but you can Wal-." He spoke but Eve put her hand up.
"No need for codename, you will call me 3v E and I will call you W4. Do you understand?" Eve spoke coldy.
W4 sighed and nodded. "Yes ma'am." Eve shook her head. "Don't call me ma'am, it's 3v E."
"Yes ma'a- I mean 3v E I understand." W4 answered.
She pulled up a screen from her wrist and checked it. "Okay, we have an order from the commander to check a building out that may contain machines now you will do as I say when we get there understand?" Eve asked.
"Yes but why are we fighting them? We can make pe-." W4 asked but resulted Eve pinning him against the wall.
"Listen to me, they are our enemies and peace isn't our choice of action but I will ask you to silence yourself from any more questions unrelated to our task at hand." Eve scolded W4.
W4 looked back at Eve with fear in his eyes as he was caught off guard by her sudden hostile behaviour. "Y-yes 3v E."
She stared back at him and saw how afraid he was. 'What? He's scared from this? I wonder how well he will take combat.'
"3v E m-may I be put down?" W4 asked politely with a slight stutter.
"Yes W4." Eve responded and let go of him.
She approached her pod and looked back at W4 with his pod. "Mark this address for us Pod-201 and 420."
"Affirmative Unit 3v E and W4." The poda responded and two flight suits landed down
"Unit 3v E and W4, you have arrived at your destination." Their pods told them.
Eve and W4 stood before the building they had to check out and saw it was close to collapsin
"Rather spooky ma'am." W4 said in a frightened voice.
Eve let out a frustrated sigh and turned to W4. "Did I not make myself clear W4? It's 3v E not ma'am."
"I'm sorry W4, I'm used to calling a woman ma'am." He told her.
"I understand W4 but don't be formal to me." Eve responded.
W4 nodded and stayed silent then his pod spoke out. "Unit W4 is feeling unnerved by this current situation. Solution: Is to relax."
Eve looked back at W4 who went pale. "N-n-negative Pod-420."
Inside the main lobby of the building was rubble and vegetation that grew over everything even some of the furniture only difference being a thin covering of moss.
"It's rather nice in here 3v E." W4 said
Eve began to walk down the corridor. "Pod, what building is this?"
Her Pod went to her side. "This building was originally a hotel with a roof garden, it was flooded due to plumbing issues and some parts of it still is flooded today."
She nodded and looked at the water which was ankle deep.
"Machines couldn't be here but then again it's not that deep." Eve spoke out.
They walked up flights of stairs to the rooftop and saw a small crowd of machines up here which caused Eve to go into fight mode and she ran at them cutting through them all with her sword. "Rooftop is cleared."
"3v E, flowers are up here. Wouldn't they look good in your hair?" W4 said.
Eve shook her head but looked at them. "Flowers are very precious plants but completely irrelevant to our task so let's move on."
W4 nodded but took a handful of them with him and walked with Eve. "You want them since you found th-."
She turned and whacked them out of his hand and stood on them. "No time to mess around W4, we need to report back to the Commander for more work."
"Of course 3v E, it was just a thought." He told her.

My new partner is rather cold shouldered to me like she doesn't want to even know me, I guess I've embarrassed her by not acting professional like her but I still found it rude of her to just hit me like that and step on the flowers I wanted to give to her.
I hope she'll understand me soon...

They stood before the Commander. "We have neutralised all enemy hostiles at the building." Eve spoke firmly.
"Good work 3v E and W4, I'm glad to see you two are getting along very well. I'll be sending you both on a reconnaissance mission to find a Resistance Camp as they have vital information about the machines and where one of the breeding grounds for them is." The Commander ordered them.
"Yes Commader, we'll get on that right now." Eve responded
The Commander put her hand on her chest. "Glory To Mankind!"
Eve repiled with the same phrase.
"Glory to Mankind? What's that for?" W4 answered which to his surprise made the Commander glare at him and Eve.
Eve facepalmed herself and nudged Wallace to go ahead and do the same thing.
"OH! Um.. Em... Uh... G-Glory to M-Mankind???" Wallace stammered and did the same hand gesture.
The Commander's heels made a distinct sound on the floor as she approached Wallace whom stood exactly one foot lower than her. "Hm... That is all W4 and 3v E, you may return to your duties."
Eve yanked Wallace away with such force that she nearly made fall but he kept his balance.
"3v E? What's the matter?" He asked in a low voice but didn't go unheard of by Eve who pulled him away into a sealed off room.
"What's the matter???" Eve turned around with her visor off her face revealing her perfect blue eyes filled with pure rage and hatred towards a lousy little unit.
"WHAT'S THE MATTER?! WHAT'S THE MATTER!!!!!! YOU NEARLY MADE A FOOL OF ME IN FRONT OF THE COMMANDER WHICH COULD'VE GOT ME RECYCLED AKA MY FUCKING DEATH!!!!!!!!" Eve screamed loudly which luckily went unheard of due to the sound-proof room.
"I-I'm sorry 3-." Wallace blurted out but Eve pinned him against the wall and tightly squeezed his neck.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP! I'M NOT FINISHED TALKING!" She yelled again tightening her grip.
Wallace looked at Eve and then she began to feel his throat was getting crushed making her drop him.
"I do apologise W4 about my behaviour, just under a lot of stress." Eve sympathetically apologised.
"You nearly killed me!" Wallace shouted.
Eve looked down at him with a blank expression and helped him up. "Administer some gel then, it'll help your injury."
Wallace's mouth fell open at how little she cared about him but ignored it and administered the gel.
"I wish I was still a janitor..." Wallace sighed but made Eve giggle.
"Did you lau-" He looked over and Eve glared and him and made him move forward.
"Shut up and let's go, we need maintenance to make sure we're working properly.
Eve went to the YoRHa Repair Station and was looked thoroughly by the U.R.P *Unit Repair Pod*
"Um 3v E? Is there a restroom here?" Wallace asked her.
"A restroom??? You're an Android, W4 so why do you want to use it?" Eve said sounding annoyed.
Wallace's eyes looked teary. "J-just to clean my face since it got dirty during the fight."
She sighed and excused him. 'Wait, we don't have restrooms in here.'Eve followed Wallace and saw he infact went off to a cleaning cupboard and proceeded to go in and sees him writing in a small book.
"W4... What are you doing and why are you writing?" She questioned and yanked the book from him and read through it and began to feel angry but also heartfelt and what she saw in it, inside was raw emotion and feelings he had towards herself which made her feel guilty about treating him shabbily.
"Don't tell the Commander about this 3v E." Wallace tearfully spoke.
Eve shook herself off and looked at Wallace. "Get rid of this and don't let me see this again."
They got dropped off by their pods during a firefight between YoRHa Units and the Machines a few miles away from the HQ.
Eve ran towards them cutting through a few then came the more advanced versions which were harder to defeat then a machine pinned her down.
"I require assistance!" Eve shouted and Wallace tackled the machine and when he pulled out his sword, he saw it was merely a mop.
"3v E, I'm sorry I let you dow- ARGHHH!" Wallace screamed as he was impaled by it's hand and thrown aside like trash but was cut down by Eve who ran to Wallace.
"Wallace please hang in there!" Eve said through tears.
"Y-you said my codename..." Wallace smiled.
"FALL BACK! WE HAVE TO RETREAT TO THE HQ!" The Leading YoRHa Unit ordered.
Eve tried to lift Wallace up but an explosion erupted in the immediate vicinity causing them to be knocked unconscious.
Eve awoke and looked around for Wallace.
"WALLACE! WHERE ARE YOU?!" Eve shouted while rummaging through the broken machines and dead YoRHa units.
She saw somebody moved and pulled them out to reveal Wallace. "Wallace! Your alive!"
He nodded whille holding his wound. "Nnnneed h-help."
Eve nodded and carried him back to the HQ.
