Ch.1 Silhouettes…

The rain was pouring down on Trolberg's buildings as the night-sky loomed above. It seemed that no creature was outside that night.

So it seemed anyway.

Hilda was getting ready for sleep. She looked out from her window to imagine what adventures she would go on the next day.

Lightning startled her and disrupted her flow of thought, making her fall on her bed. Just before she fell however, amongst the rain drops, she saw the silhouette of a person, walking on the sidewalk of the street. She looked out her window once more. It was hard to make it out with the darkness, but she saw his silhouette once more. He was walking to the gates of Hilda's neighbor's backyard. Hilda assumed it was his house.

"Just a person." Hilda said to herself. Or was it? Instead of unlocking the gate and entering, he…disappeared. Hilda saw this just before she flopped down to her bed. She stood up and checked again to make sure her eyes didn't deceive. She put her face upon the window. The gate wasn't open.

This intrigued her. Her first thought was that "it" was a Marra. She looked at the windows, but she could not see the green light inside. There was not even the light turning on because the person inside had a nightmare.

Her second thought was that it was a banished Nisse. But when Nisse enter the Nowhere space, they quickly go inside. The figure that was seen instantly vanished. Also the figure was much too tall to be a Nisse. This excited Hilda, who now knew what her next adventure was to be. She then quickly went to sleep in order to try and figure out what this "thing" was.
