She eyed him from across the room. Eventually she looked away, and mentally gasped at the notion in her mind. Through the attack of the U.S.J up to the the recent defeat of the villain named Overhaul, it seemed impossible for the year to end. They had just finished up the festival concert two weeks ago, and were now nearing the end of their second term. The air was cold and damp now. It had rained, adding to the chill of the winter.

'Why can't I stop looking at him?' Momo Yaoyorozu, a stunning beauty whose intellect could give Principle Nezu a run for his money, was sneaking glances at one timid Izuku Midoriya.

She had to admit, there wasn't a lot she knew about him, and yet she admired him for his spirit. His drive to be a hero became and example to everyone in class 1-A. He may not may be a model student by rules, but she couldn't deny how much she was moved by how often he went out if his way to help others in need. A sole question rested on her head, it wasn't strange, but it was still odd considering she barely spoke to him.

'Did he get taller? I never noticed.' She thought to herself while looking away. She resisted, finding her eyes on the boy again. The little guy was indeed no longer little. He was up to her height, which wasn't impressive, just unexpected. She also noticed how his arms and legs appeared more muscular, his shoulders broader, and his jawline slightly more defined. 'Wow. I never noticed that either.'

"Alright everyone, our last assignment for today will be an ethics discussion. I want you to partner up with someone you believe is having trouble, or wants to know a few more pointers in a hero's career. You have to the end of this period then you may enjoy your weekend." Aizawa crawled into his yellow sleeping bag and crumpled his juice box before dozing off.

Yaoyorozu realized that, by some freak chance, she was alone. Come to think of it no one had too much of a problem with ethics, they were aspiring heroes after all. 'Oh well.' she sighed mentally

After 3 minutes passed by, Midoriya walked up to her as he had to all the previous classmates. "Hey, Yaoyorozu, do you need help with anything?" She smiled at his innocent face. As straight laced and serious she was, even she could see and admit it. He was just the cuddliest, most adorable cinnamon roll.

"I think I'm doing fine on this one. In fact, why don't you keep my company? Everyone else seems to understand it too." replied Yaoyorozu with a smile. She couldn't resist finding him adorable.

"O-oh. Ugh. Sure, anything you'd like to talk about." He was a little flustered by the invitation.

"Well, I'd like you to take a seat actually. It has to do with you come to think of it." She tapped the tip of her fingers together shyly. She had a sheepish smile that, to reasons unknown to her at the moment, appeared on her face as she asked, "I want to get this out of the way. Do I, you know, scare you or something."

"Do you...huh?"

Later on her walk to the dorms, she kept remembering her talk with Midoriya. She especially remembered his first answer.

"Why would you scare me?"

"Well we never talk much, so I figured you just thought I was generally unapproachable. Even after the Kamino Incident, I felt a came through as pretty stiff and hard to deal with."

Midoriya holds her hand, blushing, but braving the bold move anyway. "Well I don't talk to people normally in the first place, so please don't take my behavior as a sign about you." He tried not to stutter, and did so successfully. "Truth is, your a source of comfort to me. Ever since you helped me settle my guilt for not saving Bakugo at the camp, I couldn't help but admire your strength and thoughtfulness."

She warmly smiled and proceeded to hug him descretely. "How did I not know you better sooner."

She blushed at the end. She was still excited that for Christmas and most of the winter, they had the option to stay at the dorms considering the events that transpired so far. "I'm not suprised everyone said yes, it really is lovely being here with them." she said to herself.

A cold breeze began to blow and she shivered. Yaoyorozu was starting to regret not bringing warmer attire. She felt a coat sling itself over her shoulders. Her face went red with an oddly romantic sensation as her eyes found Midoriya and his hands still on the coat, making it clear he had covered her up like a gentleman. He realised what he did and immediately turned away. He stuttered as he blushed. "I-I figured I saw y-y-you just w-when you sh-sh-shivered so I thought I should lend you this."

"Aww. Thank you. Your very thoughtful, just as ever really." She had learned quite a lot about the aspiring hero. They were more surface level things then anything, but it was a start. She learned about how he could cook, write songs, and wrote poems about his dream to be a hero. She hadn't expected him to be so colorful, aside from what she knew.

"Hey you two!" The duo turned around to see Kirishima, Mina, Jirou, and Uraraka standing together. "We wanted to head out shopping later. You two wanna come?" The duo beamed and accepted, especially when Kirishima jokingly said he'd need another man around to feel safe.

Both of them had the same thought running through their heads. 'I wonder if we can get closer.' They were genuinely curious of one another now.
