Hello

This is my first PP FF. I have no BETA so spelling mistakes and grammatical errors are my own so please stick with me.

This is just something I have had in my head for about a year and now have the time to write it.

I don't know how long it will take me to complete or when I will next update. I am just getting back in to the swing of things.

This story belongs to me.

Let me know what you think! PS. There will be swears and fluff so M rating is needed

XOXOXO

Sitting in a window bay in the front room Lizzy drank her tea as she and Jane watched the new neighbours move into the huge house over the road.

Lizzy lived with her parents and four sisters in a detached 5 bedroom house in south Liverpool.

Quarry street was one of the better areas in Liverpool, definitely middle class with its fine dining and copious green spaces.

She chuckled watching the redhead in the orange dress trying to direct the moving staff without any success. It looked as though she was just getting in the way.

Jane peered through the window, gave a small smile and then threw a disapproving look towards her sister.

'Don't look at me like that!' Lizzy gave her a cheeky smile 'who wears a maxi orange silk dress while moving in?'

'Not everyone's wardrobe consists of only denim jeans and gym clothes Lizzy'

Lizzy chuckled and threw the pillow at Jane

'Hey! I also own many work clothes'

Jane rolled her eyes 'Don't be so pedantic Lizzy'.

Hearing a loud crash from outside both Lizzy and Jane turned to the window just in time to witness the redhead waving her arms around in the air while screeching like a banshee and pointing at a very ugly looking statue.

'Oh god' Jane and Lizzy gasped together and burst out laughing.

Lizzy's eyes widened when the redhead started hitting the man on the shoulder

'She's mental'.

'Lizzy!' Jane's sharp blue eyes met her brown.

'Don't be so ableist'

Lizzy gave Jane an apologetic smile

'Sorry Janie' Lizzy hugged her favourite sister around the waist.

`I don't mean to be a dick' She gave Jane a wry smile

'I'll try harder', Jane smiled at Lizzy kissed her head and got up to leave raising her voice as she left the room

'Don't forget your meeting Lottie at 3'

Lizzy smiled to herself, Jane was the best of us all.

She worked as a Special Educational Needs and Disability teacher in a specialist secondary school.

Jane was the beauty of the family, smart and athletic, Jane was a gymnast for years, even competed and won awards. She had been offered a job with a prestigious coaching company but turned it down to study to become a teacher.

Lizzy sighed and looked down thinking about her own studies, Lizzy was almost done with her masters business degree.

She had gotten a first in her undergrad but had to defer this last year after a bad break up turned violent. Lizzy shivered.

She thought she loved Owen, but now she could see it was just infatuation, you can never fully love someone who does not love you back, no matter how hard you try.

Lizzy looked back out the window towards the new neighbours lost in thought.

She had met Owen in the hotel where Lizzy worked.

Originally from Ireland, He came to Liverpool to study sports and teaching at Liverpool Hope, he worked as the night attendant while she was night auditor. She had fallen quickly for his dark looks and quick charm.

If only she had looked a little deeper to see the man underneath she would have found a borderline alcoholic substance abuser who liked to sleep with clients at the hotel.

They had been together a year when Lizzy found out then confronted him about it and it hadn't gone well.

A few days in hospital, a restraining order later and Lizzy moved back home.

She couldn't stand to live alone anymore no matter how quiet independence was.

Lizzy sighed and looked at her watch. It was half one, she best hurry. She didn't want to be late.

Three weeks later and Lizzy was feeling good, back into her routine, up and out at 6 for a morning run to Camp Hill Park.

Lizzy loved to run, she didn't have the typical runners body, she had far too many soft curves, but she loved the peace and freedom she got from it.

Using her garden wall to stretch out her legs before she started.

Lizzy paused as she watched a very tall, very attractive man jog out of the huge house opposite.

Lizzy starts her run that just happens to be going in the same direction as the handsome man.

She eyes him up from behind, his legs are strong and thick as were his thy's, more muscle than the usual runner, Lizzy's eyes followed the mystery man as he turned the corner, away from Camp Hill.

Running on the spot letting her eyes linger on his broad back and down to his sculptured arse.

Definitely a 10 for the back she thought to herself, I hope the front is just as good.

Lizzy ran on thinking today might not be so bad.

Lizzy huffed as she threw herself in a desk chair in front of Charlotte, today was an arse ache in work. "Lottie, is it happy hour yet?"

Lottie sank into the chair next to Lizzy.

Lizzy looked at the worry on her best friend's face "Is it really that bad?"

Charlotte sighed heavily, "well, It's not going to be happy hour anywhere for quite some time"

Lizzy waited for Charlotte to continue.

"There is money missing"

Lizzy startled "Money missing?"

"Yes" Charlotte said nodding her head "A lot of money missing £10,000"

"What" Lizzy exclaimed "Shhhhhhh" Charlotte warned her "Not a word of this to anyone, it would mean my job and yours"

Lizzy nodded "I just thought it was because the Hotel isn't as busy recently, what with James street and the Indigo opening up"

Charlotte nodded "That's just half of it Lizzy, were not meeting targets at all any more and there seems to be a lot of missing money somewhere"

Lizzy looked at Charlotte "The hotel wouldn't be struggling if we actually took bookings"

"Lizzy, you know the rules" Charlotte sighed "The Hotel if for a certain class of people"

Lizzy rolled her eyes "what people Lottie?, this place is like a ghost town"
