"There's our new school." Rose said. Her and Cory were walking to the school. It was huge. You could see it from the end of town. The sisters had the same class, even though they were different ages. Age didn't matter at this school. They walked to their class and saw a teacher with short black hair, blue dress, and glasses. She wrote her name on the board. It said Miss Butterbean.
"Take a seat, girls." She sighed. Rose and Cory sat in the second row, next to each other.
"Okay class. This year we have some new students, Rose and Cory Wilson." The teacher said. She wrote everyone else's names on the board: Dib, Gaz, Billy, Mandy, Todd, Pepito, Zim, Mindy, Gretchen, and Keef.
Later the class was working on an activity and Rose and Cory were whispering about the other kids in class.
"There's a kid with devil horns." Cory whispered.
"Did you see the bighead kid in front of me?" Rose whispered back. The girls giggled. Gaz and Mandy saw the girls and they glared at them. The sisters gulped and stopped laughing. Later the boy sitting in front of Rose turned around.
"You're not from a show, and neither is your sister. What are you then?" He said.
"I-I didn't know this was a cartoon show." Rose answered shyly.
"I don't believe you." Dib replied.
"Hey! Leave her alone. We might not be from a show, okay? That doesn't mean you can make fun of us." Cory said, a little too loud.
"Yeah Dib." Gaz snickered. Dib rolled his eyes.
"Okay, okay I won't make fun of you, but I'm on to you." Dib said to the sisters.
At recess...
Rose and Cory were not happy. Nobody in there class was nice to them. Nobody seemed to like them. "Hey Rose! Look at that big tree! Let's play over there." Cory said and pointed to an oak tree. They ran down the hill to the tree and saw two girls. One of them was Mindy, from their class.
"Scram, losers." Mindy said.
"Yeah, this is our spot." A blonde girl said.
Cory growled. "Well TOO BAD! All morning NOTHING has happened. NOBODY has been nice to us so maybe you can be nice for us and YOU GUYS scram." Cory yelled. The bullies and Rose were speechless.
"Nice!"
"I know right. Maybe they actually are cool."
Rose and Cory looked around. Mindy and her friend had ran off, so who was it? The girls turned to see two other girls from their class, Gaz and Mandy.
"Anyone who can do that to Mindy and Jessica is a friend of ours." Mandy said. Rose and Cory grinned. They had finally made friends!
"You're Rose and Cory, right?" Gaz asked while playing on her Game Slave 2. The sisters nodded.
"Good. Let's sit with each other at lunch." Mandy said. So they did.
