It was a normal day in the Unova Region. Reshiram and Zekrom were in Pinwheel Forest for some odd reason, messing around and scaring off bugs. While Reshiram was going to another tree, she saw a shiny caterpie.
'Wow, Zekrom. Look what I found!' Reshiram cheered as she picked up the yellow caterpillar and admired it as it curled up in her paw.
Zekrom walked over, eyes focused on the cute little caterpie. 'Can we keep it?' he asked her.
'Why wouldn't we? I'll call you Butters!' Reshiram said to the baby. They both laughed happily as the little bug crawled around Reshiram's claws. She then handed the bug to Zekrom, placing it gently on his hand. 'You can stroke him, but don't hurt him.' Reshiram turned to him.
Zekrom looked at the bug as he gently stroked it with the tip of his finger. 'How cute!' He laughed. 'Should we feed it?' He asked, turning back to Reshiram.
'We'll see how hungry Butters is.' Reshiram said as she picked a clean leaf off of a daisy, passing it to Zekrom, with Zekrom then placing it by the Caterpie's mouth.
The Caterpie started to chew on the leaf, nibbling it here and there. They both watched in awe as the little baby ate all it could.
Zekrom suddenly felt some huge, fluffy monster lay its head against his back. He turned, shocked, only to find it was Reshiram falling asleep against his shoulder.
'Wake up, Reshiram!' he said. Reshiram suddenly got up, feeling tired and drowsy.
'The sweet smell in this forest puts me to sleep immediately..' Reshiram muttered, yawning a few seconds later.
'Fine, we can have a quick nap, but we need to find a place this caterpie will be unable to exit first.' Zekrom said.
The two dragons walked along the forest until they found a hole in a tree, a small one that Butters would be able to get into, along with a rock that could block it up.
'Hey, lets go here!' Reshiram said, taking Butters from Zekrom's hand and placing it into the hole inside the tree.
'Hang on, it needs to eat while it does that!' Zekrom explained, pinching 3 leaves off the trees and parting them so they wouldn't take up all the space, dicing the little bits of leaves into the hole.
Reshiram placed the rock over the hole, keeping Butters inside the tree. 'Now we can rest.'
Reshiram laid down, getting into a warm position before Zekrom suddenly tried to lie down, stepping on her hand in the process, making her yelp.
'Ow!' Reshiram squealed. She pulled Zekrom down. 'You will pay!' She growled. The two then ended up play-fighting there for hours.
Finally, they got tired. Reshiram pulled Zekrom down again, pulling him into herself and hugging him.
'You're crushing me!' Zekrom laughed.
'I don't care, I want hugs!' Reshiram hollered, nuzzling her head against his neck and purring.
Zekrom fell asleep, nice and warm in Reshiram's arms. Reshiram knew he was in a deep sleep and was getting ready to troll him again.
She got up, a smug look on her face. She walked over to a lake, cupping icy water in her paws. She quickly ran back to him, splashing it against his face.
'Hey!' Zekrom yelped, getting up and wiping the cold water off his face.
'I'm going to kill you.' Zekrom growled, chasing Reshiram.
'HELP!' Reshiram laughed, running with all of her speed until she took off into a fast flight over the Unovan Skies.
Zekrom ran back to the tree, grabbing Butters and then jumping into the sky, charging after Reshiram.
'You can't escape me!' Zekrom laughed, copying Blaze's voice.
'I can 'cuz I'm the blue-eyed white dragon!' Reshiram snickered, pulling a smug face at Zekrom as she turned to him.
Reshiram then U-Turned and flew right above Zekrom. Zekrom charged upwards and grabbed her by her tail.
'Oh no!' Reshiram yelled. She activated the fire in her tail, but by the time she did, Zekrom already had her back.
Zekrom pulled her back, as Reshiram turned and pushed him off.
'I will get you!' Zekrom screamed as he charged towards the white dragon with all of his power.
He leapt onto her, charging her down to the land.
The two ended up face planting into the ground. The impact made them both faint instantly.
Butters crawled slowly out of Zekrom's grasp, looking along the shore.
Butters then looked back to see Reshiram and Zekrom, both unconscious as their limp bodies were on the sand.
A bunch of people nearby started to scream. Some ran. Some stood in shock. Some walked closer.
Butters hid in Reshiram's fur, shivering because it was scared. Butters clung to her chest as the two dragons were being lifted and carried away by a ton of different people, mostly doctors, some muscular and some thin.
The two ended up in a chamber, resting while the sand was being dusted off of their faces.
Butters crawled out. Someone spotted him.
'Woah, is that a shiny caterpie?' one shouted.
Butters quickly leapt under Reshiram's fur again, hiding. Some of the others stopped dusting and searched for the caterpie, but they couldn't find it, so they gave up and went back to dusting.
Meanwhile, Reshiram woke up to see people brushing sand off of her face.
'What?' Reshiram said. The men all jumped and ran off, scared to hear her.
Reshiram felt something in her fur. She plucked it out to see Butters in between her claws.
'Butters! I'm so glad you're okay!' Reshiram cheered with delight as she stroked the baby caterpillar.
Zekrom woke up shortly after. The two were getting ready to exit the chamber. Reshiram and Zekrom both pounced into the sky, Butters safe in Reshiram's clutches.
The two began to charge up their power, blasting a large hole in the chamber, showing a nice bright sky. The two then flew through, making their way back to Pinwheel Forest.
Once they were back, they wanted to rest. They placed Butters in the hole of the tree, covering the hole as the two laid down, as Reshiram pulled Zekrom into her, resting against his neck. The two fell asleep.
