Conan had been utterly confused the past days. Maybe it had something to do with the fever he had been battling, but still. Ran, of course, nursed him back to health, but that wasn't the issue.

First off, whenever Ran came close to take his temperature, his heart wouldn't beat as fast as it normally would. Conan first thought it was because he was used to it, but he wasn't sick that much. The second thing was more disturbing, but at the same time, Conan really enjoyed it. Just before he got a fever, Kaitou Kid send a notice that he was going to steal a very pretty ring with a sapphire on it. It was called, the Flower Sapphire. The notice was sent pretty early since he was going to steal it almost 2 weeks later. This wasn't what was bugging him, however.

It was the weird, but enjoyable dreams he got. The last day Conan had his fever, he had a weird dream about him and Kaitou Kid. These were lustful dreams. Images of Conan and Kid having sex. It bothered him, but he first thought it was because of his fever.

Conan gave in to the darkness of sleep and almost regretted it. Almost.
