The Wedding Of The Soldier And The Scientist
One could understand the nervousness of the bride and groom, these two were completely opposite of one another ready to pledge a vow of love. A vow that would bind their love into a life together forever until death.
At the altar before the priests whom of which are just Aku Aku and Uka Uka stand two men on the groom's side. "Are you nervous?" Asked a rather tall bandicoot whom of which had a mechanical leg and alligator tail. "What no way man I'm totally not nervous, otherwise I wouldn't have proposed to her", replied a much shorter human. It was clear he was nervous, despite his mask covering his face. "Its okay to he nervous. This is your big day Chris. The day whe..." the bandicoot is interrupted by his human friend. "Nomad. Just say Nomad. Alrighty Jay?" The bandicoot nodded, "Of course...Nomad. Like I was saying today is a big day where you and your bride will bound together in holy matrimony and spend the rest of your lives with eachother. You should be excited!"
In the dressing room stands the bride stands a beautiful and tall light blue skinned woman with buck teeth and a red capital N on her forehead. She looks at her uncle who is a frail looking yellow skinned man who appears to be shorter than her also having a capital N on his forehead but black. "Oh my sweet niece. I'm so happy for you. You've become quite the woman, and now look! You're getting married! I'm so proud of you Nina." The girl smiles slightly and thanks her uncle. "Thank you uncle Neo. I just wish my parents could've seen this day. But if anything else I'm glad you'll be giving me away. Oh how I've dreamed of this day. My soon to be husband will be waiting at the altar, and then with just two words we'll be together forever. But I can't lie to you, I'm pretty nervous what if later down the line we lose our spark?" Her Uncle chuckled, smiling warmly, which is something that he does not do very often. "Do not worry Nina, I know these thoughts come at a time like this. I was at your parent's wedding after all. And trust me when I say this, your mother had butterflies in her stomach the entire time. Don't worry about what's ahead in your life, for now enjoy today." Nina approached her uncle and gave him a hug.
Back out on the alter the groom Nomad and his best friend/man Jay are still going about his nervousness. "Look, I love her and she loves me. That much I'm aware of but something continues to gnaw at me. How did she fall for an idiot like me? No less a heroic former soldier, I mean shes an evil scientist." Jay puts a hand on Nomad's shoulder, "Love finds it's way through many barriers. Sure you may be a hero and sure she maybe a villain but you two managed to make love work despite that. Your moral compass should not decide your entire life especially if it comes to someone you love dearly. Now stop doubting everything, time to get you married."
Jay's words reassure Nomad and as he takes a deep breath the church organ begins to play. As he looks down the aisle he sees his beautiful bride being walked to the altar by her uncle, Nomad stares at her, completely awestruck by her beauty. He is shortly brought out of his trance by Jay as Nina reaches the altar. "You're so beautiful Nina" he says as he lifts her veil. Behind Nina stands her three bridesmaids Ami, Megumi, and Coco, with Coco being the rather displeased maid of honor. Behind Nomad stands his three groomsmen Crash, Crunch, and Jay, with Jay being the best man of course. "The bride and groom will now speak their vows to one another", announces Aku Aku.
"Nina you are by far the most beautiful woman I have ever layed eyes on. There is absolutely no one I'd rather spend the rest of my life with you." The ring bearer brings the two rings up and Nomad takes one attempting to put it on Nina's finger before sheepishly giving up. "Hehe. Christopher you have to be the most handsome man the N. Sanity Islands has ever seen. You're strong, witty, and despite my evil ways you continue to stick with me." Nina then takes the other ring and puts it on Nomad's finger. "Now. Do you Christopher Nomad Supreme take Nina Cortex to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Aku Aku asks. "I do" Nomad follows up. "And do you Nina Cortex take Christopher Nomad Supreme to be your lawfully wedded husband?" Uka Uka asks. Nina looks down at the ring and shortly follows with "I do."
Aku Aku smiles and the mask brothers speak together at the same time "Then by the powers invested in us you may kiss the bride!!!" Nina takes Nomad's mask off and the two lock lips causing all their friends and family to cheer for and applaud them. Nina tosses her bouquet in the air and the bridesmaids attempt to catch it, ironically enough it lands in Coco's hands despite her not even trying to catch it. The two break the kiss and turn to the attendees of the wedding, smiling and waving before proceeding down the aisle, out the church and into the back of a limo their friends following them all the way. Once in the newlyweds lock lips again as the limo drives off, their new life together now beginning.
A/N: Howdy y'all I'm certain you were all expecting another exciting chapter of Supreme Nomad Of The Rustlands but I thought I'd write this little one shot out for laughs and wholesomeness. It's mainly based around a headcanon I have for my OC. I hope you all enjoyed.
