Henlo everyone! This is actually a pretty old one shot I've had for quite a while, I just never posted it, I've reviewed it over countless times and I think you guys will enjoy this one! ( Originally made December 7th, 2019 )

Lincoln X Ronnie Anne: A Special Dance

Lincoln looked at his watch for about the twentieth time that night. It was almost eight pm and he had been expecting Ronnie Anne to come knocking at his door about thirty minutes earlier.

You see, it was prom night in royal woods high school and with Lincoln being a freshman now and with Ronnie Anne taking a little vacation with her mom and Bobby in royal woods, he saw this as an opportunity to ask her to be his date, plus Lori knew Bobby was coming so she was going to set them up anyways.

Anyways, once Lincoln had met up with Ronnie Anne to hang out, he never actually expected her to say yes.

Flashback a week earlier

Lincoln was walking with Ronnie Anne to their usual skating hangout, well mainly Ronnie Anne's. Lincoln had on an orange sweater vest with a custom L stitched on the right side of it, he had on a pair of blue jeans and a pair of white sneakers to match.

While Ronnie Anne had decided to go original and wear her purple hoodie which still fit her somehow, she had on shorts that went down to her knees and a pair of red sneakers with purple socks as well.

Lincoln would be more comfortable with just walking to the park but every time he went to say something, his eyes always went down to her butt, and every time she looked at him he always said it was nothing and the walk there ended up being very awkward.

He couldn't help himself though, he knew he was going through puberty, heck he had caught himself looking at Lenis' butt a few times which made him gross himself out, but there was something with Ronnie Anne that surprised him, she had grown into a woman really fast, before she had no butt whatsoever and now he can't help himself but stare at it, not to mention her breasts, they definitely appeared out of nowhere, Lincoln didn't know if she knew he was staring at her but he really hoped she didn't because he knows what she would do to him, he hasn't exactly been keeping up with his training lessons with Lynn.

"Alright, we're here. " Ronnie Anne said proudly as Lincoln smiled at the park only to be surprised by a certain sight, it was Chandler and a bunch of his goons yelling at a group of kids, this made Lincoln's mood go from good to terrible, of all the days Chandler just had to be there on this day.

You see after elementary school, Chandler had purposefully enrolled to Lincoln and Clyde's middle school just to make their lives the worst they could be, he was like Ronnie Anne all over again, always pulling pranks, always stuffing food down their pants, and always making them seem like they were causing trouble whenever Chandler spotted them.

Once they had graduated and went to high school, much to their luck, Chandler had gone to a different high school to ruin someone else's life which Lincoln and Clyde celebrated all night too, even when they were told to go to bed they continued to celebrate all night long.

"We should go, Chandler will only make our lives hell if we stay any longer. " Lincoln said with a sour tone.

"Hold on, I think he took those kids' boards Lincoln. '' Ronnie Anne said pointing to them as his goons held the boards above their heads taunting the kids as they tried to reach for them only to no avail.

Lincoln only responded with, "Trust me R.A. Chandler is the worst, it'll be better if we just go. " Lincoln said, reaching for her hand to leave only for her to pull it away and say, "No way, I'm not just gonna let him bully those kids and get away with it. "

She then faced towards Chandler and his crew and began walking towards them as Lincoln only started to panic, multiple thoughts on how this would end badly were playing out in his head right now, Chandler will embarrass Ronnie Anne then spot Lincoln and beat him up, Ronnie Anne will embarrass Chandler and Lincoln will get beat up, LINCOLN WILL GET BEAT UP!

Lincoln then had a plan hit him harder then when Lynn accidentally kicked her soccer ball at his head. He then ran to Ronnie Anne and said, "Follow my lead. " She was confused and was about to protest when he pulled her behind the building Chandler and his crew were standing in front of.

"Huh? Did you guys hear something? " Chandler asked confused only to be answered with no's and nah's, he then shrugged his shoulders and went back to bullying the little kids.

"Lincoln what are you do- " Lincoln covered her mouth and opened a door that revealed a bunch of costumes, he then removed his hand from her mouth and said, "The mayor put on a play here a couple weeks back, and they used some cop costumes, you get the picture here or do I have to explain more? "

"Oh I get the picture, but we're gonna need those mustaches too. " She said with a grin

"Alright great then! So now we got their boards and we can beat up a few kids at the same time. " Chandler said with an evil smile on his face as his crew started to approach the scared kids.

That is until Chandler felt a hand on his shoulder as his crew gasped, he looked back to see Ronnie Anne dressed as a police officer with a fake mustache on, she then said, "So young man, you wanna explain what's going here? "

Lincoln watched from the sideline waiting to see if the plan would actually work, the anxiety was killing him until Chandler said in a nervous tone, "Uhh n-nothing officer, we-we were just giving these kids their boards back. "

"Oh really? Because to me it looked like you were taking it from them, and if my mind hasn't failed me yet, I'd say that's a first offense, but in your case I'd say it's one of a bunch of crimes you've done, so I should just arrest you right here shouldn't I? " She said, taking out a pair of plastic handcuffs.

Lincoln's jaw dropped, he couldn't believe how seriously Ronnie Anne was taking this cop costume, he thought they would just intimidate them and make them give their boards back but she was acting like a real cop, saying things only a cop would say, was this something Ronnie Anne wanted to do in the future?

"NO! Please don't arrest me! " Chandler then got on his knees and put his hands in a begging motion and said, "I can't go back to jail! Not again! I promise to stay away from these kids.. "

"AND?! " Ronnie Anne yelled adjusting her mustache so it wouldn't fall off. "And I promise to give their boards back. "

"Good, NOW ALL OF YOU GET OUT OF MY SIGHT BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND! " She yelled at the top of her lungs making Chandler and his crew run away leaving the boards.

"Thank you officer, we really owe you! " A kid said hugging Ronnie Anne's leg surprising her but she smiled and said, "Oh uh no need to thank me just doing my job for the community. "

The kid then got on his board and skated away as Lincoln walked up to her side and said, "That.. was awesome! " He said hugging Ronnie Anne and picking her up by the waist which surprised her but she got even happier instead of angry, probably because she was in a good mood.

"Ok Lame-o, I know I'm awesome but you can put me down now! " She said signaling Lincoln she was getting tired of it but still smiling at the same time, Lincoln hasn't really made a gesture like that before.

"Oh right, sorry about that, but I couldn't help it. That was the coolest thing I've ever seen, plus you know what to say too, how'd you do that? " Lincoln asked.

"Well… If I tell you, do you promise not to tell anyone? " She said looking away with a slight blush on her face. "I promise Ronnie Anne! " Lincoln said as he smiled and made a gesture saying his lips were sealed.

She then took a breath in and out then said, "I.. I want to be a cop when I grow up, they're happy now! " She said in a rush but also seemed angry about it.

"Um Ronnie Anne that's great! But.. you seem a bit upset? Everything alri- " He was cut off when she finally burst and said, "NO LINCOLN EVERYTHING'S NOT ALRIGHT! "

Lincoln was scared now, whenever Ronnie Anne got mad, it was usually for a good reason and it wasn't easy to calm her down, but Lincoln had to try at least.

He walked over a bench and patted the seat next to him signaling her to sit down next to him, she wasn't sure about it at first but she eventually gave in and sat next to him, he then said, "So you wanna tell me what's bothering you or do I need to fight it out of you, which we both know isn't gonna last long. "

She giggled at his last remark which let Lincoln know he was getting somewhere until she said, "No, I'll just tell you, I don't wanna pulverize you just yet… It was about a month ago, I was able to stay home after acting sick on a school night, I watched TV and a certain show came on, I don't remember the name but it had to do with cops and robbers, and.. For some reason, it just stood out to me! If you're able to go out everyday and catch some perp in the name of the law, that's like the coolest thing in the world! So I told my family when they got home I wanted to be a police officer.. "

"And how did it go? " Lincoln asked only to probably know the answer already. "They said it was a childish dream and that it was too dangerous, they said I would be better off working in the bodega. " Ronnie Anne felt like she was on the verge of crying, but she held it in because she didn't want to seem weak in front of Lincoln only for him to stand up angrily and say, "That's so stupid! "

"W-wait what? " Ronnie Anne asked, confused.

"How could they just say that without thinking it through! Family is meant to support you with ideas and be there for you during rough times, but they just agreed that it was dangerous, that makes no sense Ronnie Anne! " Lincoln yelled annoyed.

"I know Lincoln.. But there's nothing I can do now.. No one thinks I can do it and no one supports me. " Ronnie Anne said with a few tears coming out of her eyes until a hand appeared in front of her, she looked up to see Lincoln with his hand out, he then said, "I'll support you. "

Ronnie Anne was thrown aback by this and wiped some tears from her face then said, "W-what? "

"I'll support you, I know your family doesn't approve of you becoming a cop but I'll support you, through thick and thin, with whatever you need. " Lincoln said proudly.

Ronnie Anne blushed, she tried to hide it but couldn't, she took his hand hesitantly then laughed a bit then said, "You are such a Lame-o, Loud. "

Lincoln just gave a goofy smile which made her laugh more until Lincoln said, "So Ronnie Anne there's something I wanna ask you and you more then likely going to say no but- "

"Yes. "

"Huh? But you don't even- "

"Bobby kinda let it spill before we met up, he's terrible with secrets but still, yes Loud, I'll go with you to some stupid prom dance. " She said, still holding onto his hand.

Lincoln then celebrated in his mind and said aloud, "Great, it's a week from now and you can come at around seven thirty. "

"Great, it's a date then. " She said without realizing what she just said until a few seconds later, "Wait that's not what I mean- "

"Too late, you already said it! " Lincoln said mockingly. "Shut up Lame-o before I punch your face in! " She said as she raised a fist to his face.

"You're gonna have to catch me first! " Lincoln said as he ran away. "LAME-O! " Ronnie Anne yelled as she chased him across the park.

Now then back to the present

Lincoln started to worry that Ronnie Anne wouldn't show up, it was almost eight pm and the prom had started about twenty minutes ago, maybe she just tricked him into thinking she would show up, but she wouldn't do that, that's not like her.. is it?

"Lincoln! " Lola yelled from downstairs. "Ronnie Anne is here! "

"Ok yeah I'm worrying for no reason, alright bun-bun wish me luck. " He said as he looked back to his stuffed best friend.

He then started to walk downstairs and the sight he saw took his breath away, Ronnie Anne was dressed in a light purple dress that reached to her knees, she had on dark purple gloves and she had the littlest bit of makeup, she looked up to Lincoln and said, "Yo Lame-o you all good or do you need help coming down the stairs? " She said as she smiled slyly at him which made his heart skip a beat.

The way she looked at him, he didn't know what it was but Lincoln could feel himself heating up, a part of him just wanted to take control of her right then and their, but he shook his head and cleared his head of all " those thoughts " he then walked over to her and said, "You look amazing. "

"Thanks, my mom bought a whole new dress just for this prom, she was so excited when I told her. " Ronnie Anne said a little embarrassed as Lincoln laughed a bit then said, "Well, Lori said she's going to drive us, you ready to go? "

"Yup, let's go. " Ronnie Anne then grabbed Lincoln's arm as they walked out which surprised him a bit but he only smiled at the gesture, they then entered vanzilla with Lori in the drivers seat.

They took off and within ten minutes they were at royal woods high school, there were lights shining through the windows and multiple kids were walking through the doors.

Lincoln then opened the door of the van and put his hand out to Ronnie Anne to help her out which she accepted and said, "What a gentleman. " in a playful tone.

Lincoln said, "It's what I do. " This made her laugh as she then punched his arm playfully.

"Have fun, you too! I'll be back at around nine thirty. " Lori said as she drove off and Lincoln and Ronnie Anne walked inside and for first impressions, it was.. Boring actually.

The fruit punch stand wasn't even fruit punch it was the knockoff version, the music they we're playing wasn't the usual everyday music it was more like a childlike version, can't remember the name but it rhymes child bop, also to top it off, teachers we're supervising people while dancing, making sure no one was making out or doing anything they shouldn't be.

"Well then.. This sucks. " Lincoln said in a bored tone. "What did you expect Lame-o, it's a "school dance " they always suck. " Ronnie Anne said.

"Yeah I guess you're right, sorry I wasted your night with this, I honestly thought this would be fun. " Lincoln said.

"Are you kidding? This is the most fun I've in a really long time, especially in Royal Woods.. I miss this place so much. " She said in a sad tone as she sat on the bleachers.

As Lincoln watched her, an idea came to him and he said, "Wait right here ok? " He said out of nowhere as she just nodded as he ran to the DJ on the stairs, she couldn't make out what he said until the music that started playing, it was the same music that was playing from the video game they played together in the fifth grade, she couldn't believe that this was happening until Lincoln walked up to her and asked her to dance, she accepted right away.

They made their way to the main dance floor and did the same moves as the game instructed them to do, they did them perfectly and didn't even notice all the eyes that were on them, they just had fun dancing and being in each other's presence.

Everyone started cheering for them and even joined in the dance, that's when the DJ remixed it and everyone started to actually have a good time, then Lincoln and Ronnie Anne looked into each other's eyes and Lincoln said, "Ronnie Anne.. I think.. No I know, that I- " She put a finger to his lips silencing him as she said, "Me too Lame-o "

Lincoln eyes then lit up as he stared into hers once more and now Lincoln wasn't even in control of himself when he went in for a kiss which Ronnie Anne accepted and not to long after a make out session started, they weren't called out by any teachers mainly because the jocks had locked them all in a supply closet and everyone else was too busy kissing themselves to notice them at all.

"Sorry Lori we were just too caught up in dancing that we lost track of time, right Ronnie Anne. " Lincoln said, looking to his girlfriend.

"Uh yeah what Lincoln said, sorry about that. " She said as she held onto Lincoln's hand.

Lori then sighed and said, "It's ok I guess, just literally never do it again. "

"Promise! " They said together.
