Hello everyone! PuzzleMaster1998 here with another new story!

It's 101 Dalmatian Street!

This show is wonderful! And entertaining!

Most of you know what my first big dilemma was about this story, but for those who don't know, my dilemma was this: Should I make the characters (the animal ones) in 101 Dalmatian Street anthro? (This would make the writing much harder, as the 101 Dalmatians are in a three-story town house, which obviously can't support 101 anthro Dalmatians) Should I give them the ability to turn into anthros, but only when they reach a certain age? Or should I leave them as they are?

Obviously most people would say go anthro. But it would make the writing a whole lot harder, partially because the 101 dalmatians live in a three-story town house, which obviously can't support 101 anthro Dalmatians. Then there was leaving them as they are, feral forms. The problem with leaving them this way is my oc will be having romantic relations with the characters. That's why the design of the characters is so important. Never wrote a beastiality story before (as that is what I think it would most likely become if I leave them as they are in the show). Not sure if I start now, or once I get more established with my writing (Or not at all).

Finally, there was the ability to turn into anthros, but only when they reach a certain age and certain conditions. This would make the writing much easier than the full anthro.

After doing a poll and seeing the results, as well as thinking each option over and discussing it with some friends, I have come to a decision. The animal characters will be given the ability to turn into anthros, but only when they reach a certain age and conditions.

My next big dilemma was who should I have in the harem? Ones who were definites were Delilah, Dylan (who will be genderbent), Dolly, and Da Vinci. I just wasn't sure who to add to it. The first poll helped me out. The next poll will help me out as well.

Big shoutout to SonicBlitz18 and PyroFox117 for helping with this chapter as well as the next one!

This story will contain: comedy, romance, genderbending, harem, transformations, and many other things!

I will be doing probably almost every episode in the show as well as some of the shorts.

Disclaimer: I do not own 101 Dalmatian Street. Atomic Cartoons and Passion Animation Studios do.

Now, let's begin our story!

Dog's Best Friend/New Roommate at 101 Dalmatian Street

The space station's metallic door rose up with a loud hiss, revealing Dilyn the Astronaut Dog on her red and gray sanitation mech, her entire body covered in a matching sanitation uniform that had a yellow star on the collar, while her mech had treads that allowed it to move. She had her two sanitation laser rifles, which looked quite similar to vacuum nozzles, in her front paws, which were covered in yellow gloves. Finally, a cybernetic glass faceguard encased in a large metal helmet projected her objective in yellow letters. She peered to the right, then to the left, looking for anything that might be dirty.

Suddenly, something quickly zoomed by, leaving a pink bubbly residue in its tracks. She quickly began firing her rifles at the residue, quickly atomizing it. More creatures began to run through the corridor, leaving more residue for her to destroy. She eagerly took up the daunting challenge, her targeting reticule locking on to the residue as she destroyed each one.

She let out a "Hya!" as she continued to fire her rifles, beads of sweat dripping down her forehead, while the creatures quickly escaped. She then said, "Cha! Choo! Cha-cha! Space junk owned!" as reality kicked in, revealing that the "creatures" were actually her siblings, the residue was their dirty pawprints, and the mech was actually a vacuum she was sitting on while holding the nozzle with human gloves on her paws. She also had a pink static duster behind her.

She was rather pleased with herself, and smiled, while her siblings laughed as they chased each other, leaving more pawprints for her to clean up. She frowned upon seeing that she had more work to do, before turning to the left upon hearing a familiar laugh.

She watched as her stepsister Dolly leaped onto the banister at the top of the third floor and slid down with a loud "WAHOOOO!" Right as she reached the bottom she leaped off and flipped over Dilyn, prompting her to sigh.

"Dolly, you are so not helping," She said in a slightly aggravated tone.

"What do you mean Dilyn?" Dolly replied, playfully pressing her face against her sister's, which made her smile a little. "I'm polishing the banisters," She continued, quickly heading over to foot of the stairs and gesturing to them with a paw. She then mockingly gasped. "Oh! I missed a spot. Again!" She then ran back up the stairs to slide down once more, which made Dylan gain a flat look.

As Dolly prepared to jump onto the banister, her younger siblings popped up behind her, watching her with interest. She then jumped onto the banister and slid down again while crying out "BOW WHACKA WOOOOOOW!"

As she flipped over Dilyn again, Dilyn said, "Woah! Hey!" She then saw all her siblings jump onto the banister as well, prompting her to cry out "Ah!" in fear before grabbing the vacuum hose and holding it in the air. Her siblings used the hose to jump off once they landed, and somehow left a large trail of dirt on the walls. Once all her siblings had jumped off the hose, she lowered it, and watched with a surprised look on her face as Dolly ran past her, before she cried out as her siblings ran over her like a steamroller as they followed Dolly, leaving even more dirt behind, along with some chew toys.

Dilyn got up from the floor looking a little ragged, with patches of dirt on her ears and head, and sneezed, before some mud dripped from the doorway she was in onto her head.

Dolly led her siblings to the landing and slid down the banister to the first floor, her siblings following while leaving dirt and destruction in their wake. She saw that her stepmother Delilah was heading towards the door while letting out a yawn, and grinned. She flipped over her, causing Delilah to let out an "Oh!" in surprise as she ducked, while the wave of Dolly's siblings went over her after Dolly as they laughed and howled in excitement.

Once they came to a stop in front of her as they landed, she sat up and looked around at the now-dirty hallway, before saying, "Good luck with the chores." She then got up and made her way to the front door as she continued. "Okay, I'm off to work."

"Bye Mom!" Dolly called out from the top of the giggling puppy pile, a happy smile on her face. Delilah pressed her paw on the paw scanner next to the door, and after a quick scan the paw print on screen turned green while making a "Beep!" sound, before the door opened, revealing a soot-covered Daisy "Day" sitting on the doorstep.

"Busy night shift Day?" Delilah asked her sleeping wife, prompting her to wake up and shake her head, removing the soot from her face.

"Worked like a dog," Day replied tiredly as she walked inside, her head down while a tired expression was on her face before she sat down next to her wife and smiled, happy to be home.

Upon hearing the familiar voice, Dilyn leaned out and looked down the stairs at the front door with a happy look on her face. "Ma!" She cried, before her ears drooped as she heard and saw her siblings popping up out of the woodwork while chanting "Ma!"

Delilah looked up and her eyes widened in realization of what was about to happen, grabbed her medical bag with her mouth and said, "See ya!" while backpedaling out of the front door to avoid the oncoming wave of puppies. Day sat up and looked at the wave of puppies heading right towards her, her eyes widening briefly before a smile appeared on her face as she happily held her arms out to hug them.

As the wave of puppies hit her, the impact sent the soot on her body flying throughout the house and onto the puppies, causing Dilyn to whine as she said, "Ohh! But I just cleaned!"

A few minutes later…

Dilyn groaned in irritation as she began wiping soot off one of the rear side windows with the yellow gloves on her paws and a red rag held in her paw, before she noticed something happening over at their neighbor Clarissa's house. Clarissa was laying on her back and taking a nap on a small comfy sofa in her glass-enclosed back patio, while her human Hugo was using a hand vacuum to clean up the place. Hugo got a little too close to her with the vacuum, and the noise woke her up. She let out an authoritative bark as she glared at the vacuum, prompting Hugo to freeze in place and turn it off, before he ran off into the house. He returned a few seconds later with a pair of orange earmuffs and placed them on her head, making sure they covered her ears.

Satisfied at what Hugo had done, Clarissa quickly went back to sleep, while Hugo resumed his vacuuming.

"Wow! Clarissa's human is so well-trained that he does all the work!" She said in awe, before turning away with a sigh. "If only we had a pet," She said with a roll of her eyes before she left the room to start cleaning upstairs once more.

After she left Dee Dee climbed up to the window, partially covered in soot, while Dizzy hung upside down from the top of the window, also covered in soot. "Hear that Dizzy?" She asked her sister Dizzy.

"Sure did Dee Dee!" Dizzy replied, before Dee Dee looked at the soot on her left paw and unsuccessfully tried to shake it off. A little bit of soot did come off, but it went in her nose, causing her to let out a cute sneeze that caused the rest of the soot to fall off her body. Dizzy then fell down and landed on a squeaky toy, making the soot on her body to fall off as well.

As she got up, she looked at Dee Dee, who had a smile on her face, having thought of an idea that would help their sister Dilyn. "So let's get Dilyn a pet!" She stated, which made Dizzy smile. She thought it was a wonderful idea!

"Yeahyeahyeahyeahyeah!" Dizzy stated as they raced to the front door and then went through the bottom door panel, which had been set on a hinge so it could act as a door that could swing in and out. As they went through the door, Dizzy ran into Dee Dee, and the two tumbled out onto the doorstep, landing on their paws. But as they started going down the steps they paused, a question hitting them like a bolt of lightning. "But where?" They both said, looking at each other.

Several minutes later…

Dizzy and Dee Dee had searched around for a good place to look for a pet for Dilyn, and came across a café with several people inside.

"Oooh! Here's the perfect place!" Dee Dee began happily as she looked from the café to Dizzy, who was laying upside down on top of a bench with her head hanging off the side.

"The pet shop!" Dizzy finished, before rolling off the bench and landing on all fours. The two ran across the street after making sure it was safe, and then pushed the glass door in, entering the café.

"What's our offer?" Dizzy said as they looked at the first person they saw. The man was dressed completely in gothic attire, makeup included, from head to toe, and he was resting a hand against his head while giving off a "nobody-understands-me" vibe. A waiter walked up to him carrying a cup of coffee.

"Yours must be ze black coffee," He said with a French accent.

"Nooo," Dee Dee said, before they went on to the next human. This human wouldn't do.

The second human was a stocky young boy with blonde hair that was in an undercut hairstyle, thick black eyebrows, grey eyes, and very thin legs. He was wearing a red jacket over a white shirt and a black tie, and was also wearing black pants, black fingerless gloves, and red sneakers with white shoelaces. He was sipping on an orange drink through a long bendy straw while watching the waiter from earlier.

As the waiter started to pass him, he poured his drink on the floor, causing the waiter to slip and fall forward right onto his face while his tray rolled away from him.

Upon seeing this Dizzy stated, "No way!" This human wouldn't be the right pet for Dilyn. They then moved on to the next human, who was a tall black woman with long, dark hair. She was wearing a lot of jewelry, a black and white striped dress with sleeves that went to her elbows, black pants, black eyes, and black boots. She was taking a large number of selfies with her posing in different positions with her drink while muttering "Pout. Post," with each snap of the camera.

The two Dalmatians watched this go on for a few seconds, before Dee Dee looked down at Dizzy from the table she was on with a frown. "Definitely not!" She stated as she leapt off the table onto the ground. They then moved onto the next human.

This human was a young man with bright orange hair, orange eyes, and a beard of peach fuzz, and was wearing a black sweater, grey pants, and beige shoes. He was slurping his green drink while looking at a dating app on his phone.

"That one's cute," Dee Dee said to her sister with a smile, before they started making their way over to the man.

The man gained an excited look as he looked at people who could be his potential love interest. He swiped past a few people who didn't interest him, before he stopped on one. The photo was of a dark-skinned woman with black cornrows on the left side of her head and a large thick pink and black braid on the right. He smiled and tapped on her photo, only to get an image of a broken heart with the number "0" pointing to it, telling him that they weren't compatible.

He let out a disheartened sigh. "Nobody wants me," He said, leaning back sadly.

"We'll take ya!" Dee Dee said as she and Dizzy came up to him, before they began barking at him, prompting him to look down.

"Hey! Look at you two!" He said, leaning down and putting his hands to his face as a large smile appeared. "So adorable!"

They continued to bark at him while gesturing towards the café door, prompting him to try to figure out what they wanted. "What's the matter girl?" He asked Dizzy, who had a paw on his shoe.

In response, Dee Dee turned and pointed her head toward the door.

"You want me to come with you?" He asked as Dee Dee grabbed one of his shoelaces and began to pull it. "Okay. Let's do it!" He said excitedly as he got up, tossing his drink into a nearby garbage can while Dee Dee continued to pull his shoelace and Dizzy began to push on his shoe from behind.

Several minutes later…

"Pyew-pshhow!" Dilyn said as she vacuumed up the soot on the hallway floor till it was spotless. She then turned off the vacuum and leaned down, making sure she hadn't missed a spot. Upon seeing that the floor was spotless, she smiled and said "Clear!"

"Dilyn!"

"Open the door!"

Dilyn's ears perked up upon hearing two familiar voices coming from outside the front door, and she quickly went over to it. She opened the mail slot, and saw Dizzy and Dee Dee jumping up and down outside with excited looks on their faces as they continued to say "Dilyn! Open the door!"

"Dizzy? Dee Dee?" Dilyn asked as she pulled her head away from the slot, a confused look on her face. 'Why are two of my siblings out front? And what are they so excited about?' Dilyn thought, before inwardly sighing as she began to reach for the paw scanner. 'Well, only one way to find out.' She then placed her paw on the scanner, activating it.

After scanning her paw and confirming it was her, the door opened, while Dizzy and Dee Dee both happily shouted "Ta-da!" as they leaned against the human they had found, smiles on their faces.

"Surprise!" Dee Dee stated, while Dilyn quickly processed what she was seeing, before crying out in shock and fear. She scooted back several feet and curled up fear, a terrified look on her face as she stared at the human, whose attention was glued to his phone.

"A human?!" Dilyn asked aloud.

"It's your pet!" Dizzy began.

"You know, to do the work!" Dee Dee finished.

"Can we keep him?" Dizzy asked as she wrapped her arms around one of the human's legs while leaning her head against him.

"Can we call him 'Mr. Fuzzy?'" Dee Dee added as she copied Dizzy, before the two of them then ran up to her and leaned their heads against hers.

"Pleeeeaaasssee, Hmmmm?" They both asked with wagging tails and large pleading smiles, before then giving her their puppy eyes look. They did this for a few seconds before breaking off and heading right back to the human, while Dilyn processed what the two sisters had asked.

"No Way!" She stated, turning her head away from the human as she continued to talk, holding a paw up to stop them. "We cannot have a human in the house!" She then began to hear the human giggle, and it sounded like he was moving past her. She opened her eyes, and was greeted with the sight of Dizzy and Dee Dee pushing and pulling the human through the house towards the backyard. "Ah! He's in the house!" She screamed with a worried look on her face, before shutting the door and running after them.

Dizzy and Dee Dee quickly made it to the backyard with 'Mr. Fuzzy,' and as they stopped moving him Dizzy said, "Here Mr. Fuzzy!" Their siblings all stopped what they were doing and looked at the human, who let out an "Ooooh!" upon seeing all the cute puppies.

The man smiled before he was then tackled by them as they said "Awe!" The human laughed as he lay on the ground under a pile of puppies, enjoying the attention they were giving him.

Dolly looked at the scene for a few seconds, before she looked to Triple D. "Uhhhh, who let the human in?" Dolly asked, a confused look on her face.

"I'll handle this," Dilyn firmly stated as she entered the backyard, catching Triple D and Dolly's attention. She then began marching over to where the human was with a determined look on her face. "Listen sir. I'm sorry but clearly there's been some sort of mistake," She began as she sat down in front of the pile.

Unfortunately, all the human could hear were barks and yips coming from her. He looked at her for a few seconds, before he gained a large smile. "Ohoo! Someone needs a tummy tickle!" He said in a sing-song tone as he reached over to Dilyn, who laid on her back in fear, and proceeded to scratch/tickle her tummy.

"Must. Fight. Tummy tickle!" She said, doing her best to not laugh and fall victim to the human. She quickly failed. "Can't resist Mr. Fuzzy!" She then proceeded to start laughing and giggling, her legs kicking in the air.

Her siblings watched on and giggled, while Dolly rolled her eyes and let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, you are soo handling this," Dolly sarcastically remarked.

Mr. Fuzzy then noticed Dolly, and stopped tickling Dilyn, before heading towards her. "Come here you," he playfully commanded her. Her eyes widened and she began backing away from the man till her back was against the fence.

"No way," She said as she leaned away from his outstretched hands. "Eugh. It might have fleas."

"Yeah," Destiny, who was a part of Triple D, said in agreement. "Couldn't you…"

"Have found like a…" Dallas, another part of Triple D, continued.

"Shinier one," Déjà Vu, the final part of Triple D, finished.

As Dilyn got over her laughing fit, she heard a bell ring from Clarissa's backyard, and looked through one of the holes in the fence to see what was going on. She watched as Hugo carried a beautiful covered dish over to Clarissa, who was in the same position she had been in earlier and on the same sofa, but the sofa was now placed outside the patio. Hugo lifted off the cover, revealing an expensive and delicious gourmet dog bone treat on a beautiful dog dish. Clarissa opened her mouth, and Hugo gently dropped the treat into her mouth, which she then closed as she munched on the delicious treat.

After watching this happen, Dilyn put a paw to her chin in thought. "You know, maybe a pet isn't actually such a bad idea," She said, before looking over at Mr. Fuzzy. He was currently sitting in front of Dizzy and Dee Dee on the lawn. She watched as Dizzy scratched her ear with a hind leg and then looked expectantly at Mr. Fuzzy. He chuckled before copying them, much to their excitement and happiness.

Dilyn was confused as to why they were doing that with Mr. Fuzzy, but decided to not worry about it. She saw that Dolly was watching him as well, an unsure look on her face. "I mean it could be educational for the pups to care for another creature," She stated, a smile forming on her face as she looked at Dolly, before climbing up to the top of the fence and looking down at Clarissa, who was now standing on the lawn facing away from them.

"And," She continued as Clarissa was fed another gourmet treat. "A pet will always give you unconditional love." As she spoke Hugo pulled out a large ear hair from one of Clarissa's ears, prompting her to growl in anger while Hugo comfortingly and lovingly pat her on the cheek.

Dolly then put her paws on top of Dilyn's head and pushed down, having wanted to get a better look at what was happening with Clarissa.

"Kind of the opposite of a sister," Dilyn said as she raised her head and rapidly shook it side to side, forcing Dolly to jump off her head. She looked off in the direction Dolly had went, and when she didn't see her, closed her eyes with a smile.

"Wait a minute," Dolly began, coming up from the right and leaning towards Dilyn, who lost her smile and shrunk back a bit in response before looking away for a few seconds. "You just want him to do all the work," She continued as Mr. Fuzzy walked by giggling, carrying several giggling pups in his arms while a pup sat on his head.

Dilyn smiled at what Mr. Fuzzy was doing before looking back at Dolly with a flat look. "Well it's not like you're much help," She retorted before going after Mr. Fuzzy, who had gone inside, causing Dolly to start growling in frustration before she followed her sister.

Mr. Fuzzy went upstairs and into the bathroom, shutting the door behind him before he began using the facilities. Dilyn leaned her head against the door, and heard him whistling, prompting her to say with a smile "Oh! Look how smart he is! He's thirsty, and just instinctively knew where to find the drinking bowl."

Dolly and one of her siblings had an arched eyebrow as they looked at Dilyn and the door, before they then heard a flushing sound. "I don't think he's drinking," Dolly replied, causing Dilyn to lose her smile.

It quickly returned when she realized what Mr. Fuzzy was actually doing. "Awe! He's marking his territory," She said as she heard the sink run for several seconds, before the door opened and Mr. Fuzzy walked out singing a little rhythm. They watched him head towards the stairs before they looked into the bathroom at the toilet.

After looking at it for a few seconds they realized what Mr. Fuzzy had actually been doing to the "Drinking bowl," and looks of disgust appeared on their faces. "Well it works," Dolly said as the little sibling put a paw over their mouth and appeared to be close to vomiting. "I'm never going near that drinking bowl again."

As Mr. Fuzzy made his way down the stairs to the first floor, he looked at all the various pictures on the wall. "Wow! Whoever lives here is dog crazy!" He said, before pausing as a thought came to him. "Unless it's just you dogs," He said with a slight chuckle before thinking it over, placing a hand to his chin in thought. After a few seconds, he dismissed the notion with a wave of his hand as he said "Naaaah," before continuing his way down the stairs.

He made his way into a room and looked around at the various things with curiosity. He walked further into the room, looking around, until he ran into a machine and fell onto his back. "Oooh! What's this?" He asked as he got back up and went over to the machine, crouching down as he touched one of the many bristled arms.

Dilyn, who had followed Mr. Fuzzy to the room's entrance, panicked. "No!" She cried, jumping out from behind the side of entrance and running towards him, a panicked look on her face. "Not the stroking machine!"

Mr. Fuzzy then pushed the large red button connected to the stroking machine, activating it. The machine began to spin, whacking him in the chin several times. He let out an "Oof!" each time he was hit, and lost his balance, falling towards the machine. He fell onto it and was quickly spun around by it several times while crying out "WHOOAAAAA!" He was then flung by the machine towards Dilyn, who sat down and came to a stop upon seeing the flying human, before she was hit by him, letting out an "Oof!" as the two of them flew into a chair across the room with a loud "Crash!"

Dilyn, who was now tangled up in some string that was hanging from the ceiling, looked down at Mr. Fuzzy, who was underneath an overturned chair and on top of some squeaky toys, with a scowl on her face. "Bad human!" She scolded.

"Uhhh, sauce pups," Mr. Fuzzy said as he raised a hand in the air, a bit dizzy from what had happened.

Dolly, who had watched the whole incident from the beginning with Dizzy and Dee Dee, laughed along with Dizzy as Dee Dee said with a smile, "He's silly!"

"You know," Dolly said with a smile. "I could get to like you Mr. Fuzzy."

Dilyn's scowl deepened upon hearing their laughter, before it was released with a pleased and relaxed look as Mr. Fuzzy began to scratch her ear. "Oh," She sighed with a chuckle while her tail began to wag. "Well I guess we don't need a stroking machine now that we've got a human," She continued as she looked over at his scratching hand happily. "Now let's get him trained up!" She firmly stated.

After she got down and Mr. Fuzzy got up from the floor, she made him stand over by Dolly while she went to get the vacuum, before nosing it over to him.

"Huh?" Mr. Fuzzy said as he picked up the vacuum, while Dilyn turned it on. The nozzle was facing him, and the suction pulled his face against it, prompting him to pull it away. This happened a few times, before Dilyn then turned the power setting from "Low" to "High." The suction's force increased, causing Mr. Fuzzy's eyes to widen as his face was sucked against the nozzle even harder.

As he tried to keep the nozzle away from his face, he failed to notice that his legs were getting tangled up in the vacuum's hose until he tried to take a step. As he felt himself fall forward, he let out a loud "Woaah!" Dilyn dragged a paw down her face in frustration while Dolly began to chuckle to herself, a grin on her face as Dilyn went over to help Mr. Fuzzy. She watched as Dilyn pushed the vacuum in the opposite direction, dragging Mr. Fuzzy behind her. He cried out a loud "Woah!" again as he was dragged along, before crying it out again as he was quickly untangled from the hose and slide past Dolly once more while playing air guitar with the nozzle.

As he slid by Dolly couldn't help but burst out into laughter as she saw Dilyn was now tangled in the hose and was being pulled by Mr. Fuzzy, a frown on her face. As Mr. Fuzzy moved around with the vacuum, Dilyn was eventually freed from the hose, and sat next to Dolly, who held a paw to her mouth to keep the giggles in as she looked at her now-dusty and dizzy sister.

She was unable to hold them in for long, and began laughing aloud again, pointing at her with a paw as Dilyn shook herself to get rid of the dust before giving her a flat look.

"Woohoo!" Mr. Fuzzy cried as he stood on one leg atop the vacuum while rolling by. He then hopped off and wiped his forehead, before noticing how messy the room was now, and chuckled nervously. He then grabbed the vacuum and began to clean the dirty floor, prompting Dilyn to give Dolly an "I told you so" look, which made her groan.

Mr. Fuzzy then got a purple goose chew toy stuck in the nozzle. Not realizing that he had sucked up the toy, he continued to clean, failing to notice that the vacuum was starting to spew dust and smoke from the sides. Dilyn and Dolly noticed this, and Dolly began to laugh while Dilyn pointed at the vacuum thinking 'That's not normal for a vacuum.' Dolly then ran a good distance away while continuing to laugh, while Dilyn gained a look of horror as she realized what was happening, and cried "Aaaah!" as the vacuum burst open, sending dust and dirt everywhere.

Later, Dilyn brought Mr. Fuzzy into the kitchen, and pushed him up to the sink, where there were a few towers and piles of dirty dishes. She then hopped up and turned on the faucet, before handing him a large bottle of soap to use while cleaning the dishes. "Woah!" He said as he stared up at the tall towers, while Dilyn left.

As Dilyn made her way out of the kitchen, she paused as she heard and saw Dorothy slide by on the now soapy and wet tile floor before gently crashing into a pile of chew toys. Confused, Dilyn quickly turned around, and saw that Mr. Fuzzy was not cleaning the dishes at all like she thought he would. Instead, he was gently sliding pups along the floor while the sink overflowed. He gently pushed another pup along the floor, causing Dilyn to cry out "Aaah!" with a worried look on her face as the pup, who was laughing and crying out "Whee!" happily, crashed into her like she was a bowling pin, before the pup's momentum carried them out the kitchen door.

Dilyn got up from where she and her sibling had landed with a determined look on her face. She wasn't going to give up on Mr. Fuzzy yet! She went to a closet and opened it, before grabbing a mop with her mouth. She then carried it over to him and thrust it into his arms upside down, the wet end whacking him on the head and wetting his hair.

She reached over and turned off the sink faucet, before she decided to show him how it was done, and began to clean up the water with a red rag. She smiled as the water disappeared, leaving a clean floor behind, before her smile was replaced with a frown as she watched Mr. Fuzzy dance by with the mop as if it was a lady, which was making the other pups laugh as they watched. He danced his way out of the kitchen and up the stairs, before going straight into the closet door at the top of the stairs with a loud "Smack!" The bulging door flew open, allowing an avalanche of chew toys to come pouring out and head down the stairs.

The commotion caused by the avalanche woke up Day, who came out of her and Delilah's bedroom with a yawn to see what was going on. "I'm trying to get some sleep-" She paused at the top of the stairs upon seeing a human pop up laughing from the pile of toys at the base of the stairs, while Dolly was holding on to the back of his head, her paws covering his eyes as she laughed along with her other siblings.

As the human walked away to another room, her bloodshot eyes widened as her ears flattened against her head. "Why is there a human in the house?" She asked aloud, trying not to panic.

Dilyn then popped up from the pile of toys with a hesitant look on her face. "Uhh, well, that's, kindof," She stammered, while Mr. Fuzzy jumped into the pile of toys again. "Maybe my fault." Mr. Fuzzy laughed as he stumbled through the toys, before letting out an "Oof!" as he ran into the wall behind Dilyn, knocking off the puppies holding onto him before falling onto his back.

"He's Dilyn's," Dee Dee began, hopping out of the toys with a smile.

"New pet!" Dizzy finished, popping her head out from under the toys. Dilyn had a strained smile on her face as she waited to see how her step-mother would respond.

Day's eyes widened even more, before she shook her head to get the last bit of sleep out of her. "New pet?!" She exclaimed in shock. "You do know that humans can live to over a hundred. That's seven hundred in dog years." Day then leaned forward till her nose was touching Dilyn's. "Ten generations!" She whined with worry.

"Right! Yes!" Dilyn hastily agreed, before looking around as she scrambled to find an excuse to keep Mr. Fuzzy. "Which means when he's trained he'll look after us for ten generations!" She continued with a confident smile, which quickly disappeared as she heard laughing and several chew toys squeak as Mr. Fuzzy fell onto the toys behind her with a pup on his face. As he was dragged off Dilyn gave her step-mother a large strained smile.

"Daughter," Day began. "Humans are hard work. They need constant exercising. You gotta take them for a lot of walkies in the park!"

"Park?" The rest of the pups said, prompting her eyes to widen as she realized what she had just said.

Dolly popped up from behind her and said "Trigger word!" with a smirk before moving away, while Day had an uneasy look on face as she turned and saw a wave of puppies chanting "Park!" over and over approaching them. Dilyn, who had ducked back under the toys as the wave reached them, bowling Day over.

Several minutes later…

Dilyn led Mr. Fuzzy, who had an orange collar on his arm, via a leash connected to the collar to the park. This amused Dolly and her other siblings, who laughed and giggled as Dilyn led Mr. Fuzzy, who was on his phone through the semi-busy path. Dilyn was quite pleased with how things were going, but was brought to a standstill when Mr. Fuzzy spotted the girl he had been interested in earlier working at a plant and food stall.

Dilyn began tugging on the leash with her mouth as she said, "Come on boy! Come on!" She then tried to pull him away by running, but was unsuccessful as Mr. Fuzzy continued to stare at the girl, who was looking down at her phone while waiting for customers to come.

Dilyn let go of the leash and grabbed a tennis ball with her mouth before looking up at the human. "I'm going to teach you to play fetch!" She stated happily as she dropped the ball, which then bounced ad rolled past him. Mr. Fuzzy continued to ignore her as a smile appeared on his face. "There you go!" Dilyn said with a smile, misinterpreting Mr. Fuzzy's reaction and thinking that he was happy to play fetch. "Now come on, throw!" She said encouragingly, gesturing with her paws to throw the ball. "Throw," She repeated as she realized that he wasn't paying any attention to her. Mr. Fuzzy began to look back and forth from the photo on his phone to the girl in the stall, shocked that he had encountered her here.

"Huh, alright then," Dilyn said, walking forward and then jumping up, grabbing Mr. Fuzzy's phone in her mouth, much to his surprise.

"Hey!" Mr. Fuzzy cried out, shocked that the nice doggy had taken his phone.

"Now fetch!" Dilyn cried as she landed on the ground, throwing the phone away from them.

"Aaaahh!" Mr. Fuzzy yelled, running after his phone with his hands in the air.

Dilyn took a few steps forward and sat down with a pleased smile on her face. "Good bo-" She was cut off as Dolly pushed her head down, using her as a springboard as she cried out "Bow whacka wow!" and leaped into the air after Mr. Fuzzy. As Dilyn popped back up looking quite dizzy, she was then bowled over by her siblings, who also wanted to play fetch.

She quickly got back up and began chasing after them as one of her siblings got to Mr. Fuzzy's phone first and continued to run, prompting Mr. Fuzzy to chase after them. He chased the pup past the skate park once, then twice, and then three times, before he got into the swing of things and forgot about getting his phone, deciding to have fun with the pups for a little while.

This continued for a few hours, till they were all quite tired. They made their way back to the house, where Mr. Fuzzy then flopped down onto a comfy couch, and let out a yawn. "Wow! I am sooooooo snoozy," He said before closing his eyes, while the rest of the pups made themselves comfortable on or around him and fell asleep. Dilyn hopped up onto the couch and laid on her back across his legs, making herself comfortable before letting out a relaxed sigh and then closing her eyes, falling fast asleep.

It seemed like only a few minutes had passed when she was awoken by Dee Dee saying, "Hey Mr. Fuzzy!"

"You okay with the kibble pump?" Dizzy asked, prompting Dilyn's eyes to shoot wide open. She looked around and saw that she was the only one in the room, and was then startled when a food bowl came flying overhead and bouncing off the wall.

"Ah! No pushing buttons!" She exclaimed as she sped out of the room to where they kept the kibble pump.

"Okay! Everybody stay calm!" Day ordered, her firefighter hat on as she held her paws out calmingly, before closing her eyes and slowly breathing to keep herself calm. Dilyn peaked out from the side of the room's entrance and saw that there was absolute chaos! The kibble pump was on and spraying kibble and knocking bowls all around the room while whipping Mr. Fuzzy around, who was crying out in fear as he held on to the pump's hose.

"The food machines are in meltdown!" Dawkins exclaimed, holding her paws to her head in horror as she freaked out before ducking as the hose went over her.

"I got this!" Day stated, opening her eyes as she prepared to take care of the situation. She was then hit with a flying bowl before getting sprayed with kibble.

"Ma?" Dizzy said, popping up from behind an overturned chair wearing a food bowl as a hat on her dirty head. She looked at her and laughed, before pointing at her with a paw. "I think you got some food on your face."

Mr. Fuzzy was flung around a few more times, before he lost his grip on the hose as he let out a "Woah!"

"Oh my dog," Dilyn stated as she began to panic, dodging some bowls that were flung in her direction before watching them crash into some furniture. "Oh my dog! Oh my dog!"

Dolly peaked out from the side of the room's entrance as well, and saw all the chaos that was happening, and gained a worried look on her face as Dilyn let out a cry of "Ah!"

"Uh, I'll shut down the kibble pump!" Dolly stated as she sprang into action, running towards the out-of-control pump with a determined look on her face.

"I've got the bowl flinger!" Dilyn said with a worried look as she ran towards the machine, tripping over some of the flung bowls as she went. "I think?!" More bowls were flung in her direction, and she somehow tripped up them like they were a set of stairs and flew into the air towards the machine, while Dolly jumped, flipped, and dodged each blast of kibble coming from the hose with a smile.

The two of them continued to head towards their objectives, determined looks on their faces as Dilyn focused on the plug powering the bowl flinger and Dolly focused on the button that activated the kibble pump. They both cried out as they reached their destinations and deactivated the machines, with Dilyn grabbing the plug with her mouth and pulling it off, and Dolly sliding down an overturned sofa before jumping up onto the shelf that had the button and pressed it.

As the pump and bowl flinger powered down, the kibble on Day's face and head began to fall off, with some of the pups popping up from around the room and giggling at how silly she looked with patches of kibble on her head.

Dilyn heard Mr. Fuzzy moan in pain, and walked out the room into the main hallway along with Dolly and Day while saying "Bad Mr. Fuzzy! Bad!" Mr. Fuzzy had been tossed right into a wall, and his head had gone through it and into a family portrait. He had a dizzy look on his face, and said, "Oh. Sorry," before he tried to extricate himself from the wall.

As he strained to pull his head out of the portrait and wall, Dilyn's ears drooped as she looked down sadly, while Day placed a paw on her shoulder.

"Dilyn," She stated with a somewhat sad look. Dilyn looked up at her, knowing what she was going to say.

Dolly knew what she was going to say as well, and quickly spoke up. "No Ma, we can't get rid of him," She said with a pleading look, putting her paws on her shoulder.

"But," Dizzy began, coming up to them with a sad look on her face.

"Mr. Fuzzy's part of the family now," Dee Dee finished sadly as she came up to them, before they all looked at Mr. Fuzzy with sad looks on their faces.

Mr. Fuzzy soon stopped straining to get out and let out a sad sigh, before he tried pulling himself out one more time with the help of Dizzy and Dee Dee, and succeeded, leaving a hole in the portrait and in the wall. They watched as he hopped on one leg while holding his right foot, saying "Ow! Ow!" before stepping on a rubber chicken and slipping on it.

Once he fell to the floor, Dizzy and Dee Dee went over to him, with Dee Dee asking, "Does he have an owie?" As he lay on the floor, he saw that his phone was on the floor next to him, the dating app still open on the now-cracked screen. The phone let out a sound like the electronics had fried before it then died, prompting Mr. Fuzzy to let out a wail as he sat up and grabbed the phone, which made everyone sad and let out an "Awe!" as they watched him.

"My phone!" Mr. Fuzzy cried out. As he cried over the loss of his phone, Dilyn looked down again sadly while Day said, "Oohh, the poor dumb creature."

"Oh, maybe I can't take care of Mr. Fuzzy properly," Dilyn said sadly, turning away from the sight. "I guess it's just not fair to keep him?" She asked her step-mom, looking up at her with a questioning gaze, as did Dolly.

"Daughter, Mr. Fuzzy needs to be with his own kind, even if it breaks your heart," Day answered. Her answer made Dilyn think for a few seconds, before she got an idea.

"Heart. That's it!" She exclaimed as the idea became clearer in her mind. "Let's help Mr. Fuzzy follow his heart!"

Dilyn held onto Dolly's skateboard tightly as Dolly headed into the park, Mr. Fuzzy following them due to his phone being held in Dilyn's mouth. "Hey! Come on! Give it back!" Mr. Fuzzy exclaimed as he ran after them. "Give it back!"

"Here boy! Come on!" Dilyn called out as she dropped his phone in front of a familiar stand. Mr. Fuzzy stopped running as he came up to where his phone was, and picked it up before realizing where he was. He then saw the girl he was interested in and began to stare at her while she was looking at her phone. She was looking at a photo of him with interest, and then realized that there was someone in front of her. She lowered her phone to see who it was, and felt as if time had come to a stop upon seeing the man who's photo she had just been looking at standing before her.

"It was meant to be," Dilyn commented as she, Dolly, and their siblings sat at the park entrance and watched them smile at each other and move closer to each other. Dilyn's eyes then began to tear up as she said, "Goodbye Mr. Fuzzy!" before she broke down into a sobbing mess, while her siblings said "Awe!" as they watched the two humans, with one of the siblings putting a paw to their mouth and feeling like they were going to vomit.

Dolly looked over at her sister and said, "Come here sis," as she pulled her into a one-armed hug. Dilyn began bawling even louder, prompting her to say "Awe, that's it. Let it out." The rest of their siblings noticed that Dolly was hugging Dilyn, and piled on top of them, chanting "Hug!" over and over as they did so.

A few hours later…

It was nearing the end of the afternoon as a young man was walking down the sidewalk, a phone in one hand while pulling a couple of suitcases behind him in the other and carrying a backpack. He was 6 foot 2 inches tall, with light brownish blonde hair, lightly tanned skin, and bright blue eyes, and was wearing grey shorts, silver-gray sneakers, white socks, a black t-shirt with a picture of a fox on it, and a leather necklace with a fox and cat made of some sort of purple stone or gem as the centerpiece.

"Let's see now," He said as he looked down at his phone, the GPS on. "According to my phone, I should be at the address in about a minute or so." He then looked at the three-story terraced upscale townhouses he was passing on his right, coming to a stop as he examined them.

The townhouse he was currently in front of was a light blue, with tan horizontal paneling around the first-floor window, a horizontal tri-wire fence to prevent people from falling down to the basement level, a white door with a light blue window above it with the gold numbers "99" painted on it, brown brick surrounding the right upper two windows, a dark blue roof, and had two sets of orange chimneys on the right side when facing the house.

"Alright, so if that's '99,' then that means that the next house is the one I'm going to," He continued, a smile forming on his face as he walked down the sidewalk a few more feet before stopping again, and looked at the townhouse before him. "Wow! I did not expect it to look like this!" He exclaimed in surprise as he looked at it.

And boy, did it stand out!

The first-floor consisted of tan horizontal paneling with white spattering around the open baby blue window and the red door that had two windows in it, one that was large, ornate, and filled up most of the upper half of the door, and a smaller one that was a semicircle, sat at the very top of the door, and had the gold numbers "101" semi crookedly painted on. The steps leading up to the door were checkered purple and white, while the door itself had a gold mail slot directly below the large window. A wire fence with thick poles spaced across it evenly prevented people from falling to the basement level, which consisted of the same paneling as the first floor. A plastic pail sat on the outside window ledge, while several dog collars of different colors were scattered across the fence and the railings on either side of the steps, and a biometric lock with a paw print design on the screen was set in the wall on the left side of the door about half a foot below the mail slot.

The second and third floors consisted of mainly red brick, with orange or purple bricks scattered throughout. The second-floor windows were tan, both open, and had iron railings surrounding the window stools, but the right one had a purple stool and purple paint splattered on the head as well as on the brick next to it in a downward arc. The left window had yellow curtains hanging out, and a purple and blue striped umbrella leaning out, while a string of lights connected the two window stools and up and to the right of the right window. Several deep purple spots of varying sizes were scattered across the first and second floors.

The left third-floor window was completely painted purple, while the right one was three-quarters of the way painted purple, with the rest of it being tan. They were both closed, and the left window had a red and blue pennant streamer going from it to the roof.

The roof was a deep purple, with two small rectangular windows that were visible. The left one was tan, while the right one was almost completely painted the same shade of purple as the other windows. A couple dog collars sat to the right of the windows, while a red and blue striped umbrella was standing over a yellow flower trough in between the two windows. A few antennas and two sets of orange brick chimneys completed the look.

"Well if this is what the house looks like, I wonder what the dogs look like?" He said as he went up the stairs, setting the luggage next to him upon reaching the door and placing his phone in his pocket. "Alright, now where did I put that key?" He muttered as he put his hands in his right pocket. "Aha! There it is!" He continued as he pulled out a key ring with a couple of keys on it, one of them painted black and white with the number "101" inscribed on it.

He then inserted the black and white key into the lock and turned it, unlocking the door before he put the keys back into his pocket. He turned around and pushed the door open with his back as he pulled his things inside, before shutting the door behind him and then locking it.

He then began to turn around as he said to himself, "Alright. Let's see what the inside looks li-"

"SQUEAK!"

He stopped talking and froze in place upon hearing a loud squeak emanate from his feet. He looked down, and saw that he had stepped on a yellow rubber ducky as he had turned around. "Well, if me opening the door didn't get the dog's attention, then that certainly did," He said, before he then heard the barking and yipping of several excited dogs heading towards him, feeling the floor vibrating with their steps. He gained a look of shock as a wave of black and white came pouring into the hallway and directly towards him, making a mess of the hallway in the process.

'That's a lot of dogs,' He thought as the wave of puppies knocked him to the floor. 'I was not expecting this many.' As he lay on the ground the pups began to give him affection via licking and snuggling, which made him smile. "Well at least you're all friendly," He said, before then hearing some barking and yipping coming from by his feet. "Hey, um, can you guys let me get up? I think someone wants to talk to me."

The pups whined upon hearing this, and some of them yipped, as if to say "Do we have to?" before they all gave him puppy eyes. "I'm sorry, but you have to," He insisted, prompting them to whine again, drooping their ears as they did so. "I need to get up." He then sighed as he saw them give him sad looks. He really didn't like making these pups sad, but he needed to get up so he could deal with whoever was by his feet.

As the pups started sadly moving off him, he got an idea as he sat up. "Wait, I think I got an idea," He said, prompting them all to stop moving and look at him with excited looks on their faces. "I can fit a couple pups on my shoulders and I can hold one in my arms," He stated, which then caused the pups to begin barking and yipping in excitement, with some of them jumping up and down, each one of them wanting to be chosen. He then began to look at each of the pups, who were all Dalmatians.

He soon came across two pups that were jumping up and down rather excitedly, and pointed at them, saying, "I pick you two." This prompted the other pups to let out whines and barks of disappointment as the two he chose let out happy yips and ran over to him. The two jumped onto his shoulders, using their paws to keep themselves steady as they sat.

The two dogs, who were the same size, appeared to be teenagers, were girls, and had white fur, black spots, and black noses. The one on the left shoulder had a black streak that looked like an exclamation point running from the top of her head down to her nose, black paws, brown eyes, and two collars on her neck, the top one a dark blue, and the bottom one a light blue. The one on the right shoulder had a bandit mask face pattern, a left black ear with white spots, a right white ear with black spots, a black sock pattern on her right front leg and left hind leg that ended just before her paws, brown eyes, and a blue striped collar.

"Alright, now all that's left is the arms," He continued. "So, who wants to be held by me?" The pups resumed their earlier barking and yipping with earnest, wanting to be chosen to be held. As he looked over the crowd of dogs, he felt something tug on his shirt. He looked down, and saw a pup had made their way into his lap and was now gently chewing on his shirt. The pup appeared to be the smallest of all the pups, and was a girl with pure white fur with no spots, a black nose, black eyes, and had on an orange collar with a white bone picture on the front.

"Well hello there," He said to the pup, who paused in her chewing, and looked up at him. He slowly reached down and gently removed his shirt from her mouth before picking her up. "If it's alright, I think I would like to hold you." The pup just giggled and let out a couple yips. "I'll take that as a yes."

The rest of the pups, upon hearing that, all let out a unified whine and yip as they looked down in disappointment. "Sorry," He said apologetically to the sad pups as he positioned the pup in his arms and began to pet her on the back, making her smile and sigh happily. "Maybe some other time." Upon saying that, he heard a loud yelp come from beyond the group, which caught everyone's attention.

He looked to where the sound had come from, and saw that there were a few Dalmatians away from the group, and one of them had a panicked look on its face. The one that was panicking was a girl and slender, appeared to be a teenager in terms of age, had white fur, black spots, black nose, brown eyes, a left white ear with black spots, a right black ear with white spots that were in a pattern that resembled the Canis Major constellation, and a red collar with a grey star tag.

"Um, is everything alright?" He asked, getting up as he did so. The panicking Dalmatian quickly shook her head while pointing at him and barking, clearly upset about something, before she was silenced with a bark from one of the other Dalmatians by her. The Dalmatian that barked was an adult, a girl, and slender, with the traditional white fur and black spots, a black nose, brown eyes, a long and thin right black ear with white spots, a long and thin left white ear with black spots, and a cerulean collar with a teal rectangular tag. She was sitting next to another adult Dalmatian, who had an apprehensive look on its face as it looked at him. This one had an average yet slightly muscular build for a Dalmatian and was a girl, with black and white fur, black spots, a large black patch on her back and right shoulder, a black nose, black eyes, a patch spot over her right eye, and a dark blue collar with a yellow badge tag shaped like a shield. The slender adult female then looked at him and let out a small yip, letting him know things were alright.

"Alright then," He continued upon seeing that the situation had been taken care of, before he began making his way over to them. He then stopped in front of them and crouched down so he wouldn't intimidate them with his size. "So, my name is Gavin Smith," He said, introducing himself to them. "Is there a way you could tell me your names?" He asked the adults, not sure if their names were on the tags or not.

The Dalmatians smiled and nodded, before pointing at the tags on their collar. "Alright. I thought I'd ask cause I wasn't sure if your names were on it or not," He said, before he then gestured to the collars. "May I have a look?" They nodded, making him smile before he began gently reaching out towards the first one's tag. He took the tag and lifted it up before he then saw the name "Delilah" engraved on it. "It's nice to meet you Delilah," Gavin said as he let go of the tag. Delilah nodded in response. He then turned to the other adult Dalmatian, who stayed still as he looked at her tag. "It's nice to meet you as well Daisy." Daisy gave a nod with a hesitant look.

"So, you're probably wondering why I'm here, am I right?" He asked them all as he stood back up.

He got several loud barks and yips in response, along with a few whines. "Well you see, my Mom is the owner of this townhouse and-" He was cut off by two extremely loud yelps that came from two Dalmatians at his feet. One of them was the panicking dog from earlier, while the other one was a slender teenage girl with white fur, black spots, a black nose, blue eyes, three black spots under each eye, black sock markings on all four of her legs that began just below her elbows and ended just before her paws, and was wearing three rings on her neck like a collar, with the highest ring colored dark blue, the middle ring colored orange, and the lowest ring colored baby blue.

The two Dalmatians turned to Delilah and Daisy and began to gesture to him wildly while yipping and barking energetically, which made him suspect that Delilah and Daisy had told them something else. His suspicions were confirmed when the adults looked at each other sheepishly before barking back, making the two teenage Dalmatians gained shocked looks on their faces as the adults continued to bark for a few more seconds before turning to him with an expectant look. He stared at them for a few seconds, trying to figure out what they wanted him to do, before his eyes widened in realization. "Oh! Um, as I was saying, my Mom is the owner of this townhouse and she recently informed me that I will be receiving her entire fortune upon her passing," He said, prompting some of them to gain confused looks.

Upon seeing their confusion, he added, "I'm adopted." As soon as he said this, their looks of confusion disappeared, replaced with understanding looks. "My Mom also told me that she wanted me to move here and help take care of the dogs here since I wouldn't have to work a paying job due to how much I'll get at her passing. She didn't want me to just sit on the couch and do nothing." He then chuckled as he glanced around at the sea of puppies around him. "Although, she didn't tell me what breeds you were or how many there were of you, probably wanting to surprise me. I'll admit I certainly wasn't expecting this many, but I'm not complaining," He continued, making most of them smile. "So basically, I'm going to be you guys new roommate/landlord."

He heard several barks and yips in response to his last sentence, some of which came from the two teenage Dalmatians before him, who had surprised/shocked looks on their faces. Daisy and Delilah also had looks of surprise on their faces, and gave each other unsure looks, before Delilah turned back to him and began to bark and yip.

"What is it Delilah?" He asked her, inwardly wishing he could understand her. She continued to bark some more, before she then pointed over to a wall. He looked over to where she was pointing, and saw that there was an old calendar on the wall. "Does it have to do with the calendar?"

She nodded, prompting him to put a hand to his chin as he mulled over what she could be asking him. 'Alright. So it has something to do with the calendar,' He thought while letting out a loud "Hmmm." 'Could she be asking for the date? Nah. That can't be it. Maybe she's asking about…no, that's probably not it either.' After mulling over it for a few minutes, his eyes widened as he realized what she was asking hm. "Ohhhhhh! I get it!" He said, looking back at them. "You wanna know how old I am."

Delilah gave a confirmatory nod and yip. "Alright. Well, I am 17 years old. My birthday is December 1st," He stated, prompting the two pups on his shoulders to let out excited yips before they wrapped their paws around his head and hugged him tightly.

Upon hearing how old he was, Delilah turned to Daisy and began to talk with her, though all he could hear were barks and yips. They continued talking for a few minutes, periodically looking over at him as he stood there, waiting for them to finish their conversation. He watched as Delilah then gave Daisy a loving nuzzle, before turning to him with what appeared to be an excited look on her face.

"So, everything fine now?" He asked her. She nodded. "Alright then. So, do any of you know where I can find a room to claim?" He looked over the Dalmatians, and saw that most of them were shaking their heads, while the panicking dog from earlier and the adults looked to be deep in thought. After several seconds, the teen dog shook her head as she barked and yipped a few times.

"Oh. Well, in that case I'll just crash on the couch," Gavin said, noticing a comfy couch in the next room from the corner of his eye. Delilah then gained a look of realization and barked loudly, catching his attention as well as everyone else's. "What is it Delilah?"

She barked and yipped a few more times, causing most of the pups to gain nervous looks, while the two teen dogs on his shoulders and the panicking dog all looked at her with curious looks. The dog with three collars had a confused look on her face, and voiced her confusion with a couple of yips, causing the adults to gain sheepish looks. Delilah then began making her way up the stairs, before turning to him and motioning with a paw to follow.

"Alright, I'm coming," He said, before he set the all-white Dalmatian pup down. "Sorry girl, but I need both hands to carry my things." The pup whined sadly, making him feel his heart ache upon seeing her so sad. "Again, I'm sorry." He then grabbed his things, and began to follow Delilah and Daisy up the stairs, the horde of pups following them.

He was led all the way up to the third floor and down the hallway till Delilah and Daisy stopped in front of a shut tan door and turned towards him. Delilah let out a firm bark, causing the two pups on his shoulders to let out sad whines before they hopped down to the floor. She then pointed to the door with a paw and barked again.

"Um, I'm guessing you're allowing me to use this room?" He asked as he set his things down, getting a nod from her before she then looked at the doorknob and tried to pull it down, only for the knob to not move. She then looked at him and yipped, before gesturing to the knob. "Hmm. You know, I think I have the key for the room," He stated as he reached into his pocket and pulled out the key ring. "Alright. If that's the house key, then this must be the key to the room," He said as he picked the other key on the ring, which looked like an ordinary key. He stepped forward, and inserted the key into the lock, before turning it. He heard the bolt turn, and pulled down the knob, before pushing the door completely open.

He then stepped into the room, which was quite dark, and felt for a light switch by the door, setting his things down to the left of the door. He soon found one, and flipped it up, turning on the room's lights and allowing them all to see what the room was.

The room was large, with cream-colored walls, brown carpet, and a ceiling fan. There was a large king-sized bed with two small nightstands on either side of it, one of them having a lamp on it, a large beautiful rug sitting in front of the bed, and a dresser sitting on the far side of the room. A flat screen tv stood against the wall in a small black entertainment center across from the foot of the bed, while a comfy recliner was set next to an empty bookshelf and a tall lamp located near a window. Several expensive-looking paintings and objects decorated the room.

As he admired the room, Gavin noticed that there was a door by the dresser, and walked over to it, wondering where it led to. He opened it, and saw that it led to a bathroom. He walked inside, and saw that there were two sinks that sat in front of a large mirror, with cabinets built underneath them. There was a toilet with its own door for privacy, a large walk-in closet, and a smaller closet. A shower and a bathtub were also in there.

"Wow," He said as he looked around the room once more, taking note of how dusty everything was. "What a nice room. It is a bit dusty though." He then turned to the Dalmatians who were still outside the room. "Anyone know where I can find a duster?"

The Dalmatian with the star tag raised her paw excitedly, before she then ran off, making the dog with the three collars roll her eyes. After several minutes the Dalmatian returned, a pink static duster in her mouth as she pushed a vacuum cleaner with her head.

"Thank you!" Gavin said happily as he took the duster from her, along with the vacuum, before heading into the room. After setting the vacuum down, He then noticed that none of the Dalmatians had come into the room. "Um, you know, you can come in if you want while I clean," He said, causing the pups to get curious looks and perk up. "Just make sure not to damage anything." The pups looked to Delilah and Daisy, who let out a couple barks before nodding.

The pups let out happy barks and yips, before they flooded into the dusty room and began to explore it, making him smile upon seeing how excited and curious they were. His smile disappeared when he realized that his cleaning job was going to be much harder upon seeing the dust fly into the air.

He let out a sigh, and, with static duster in hand, began to clean the room, starting with the dresser, making sure to not step on any of the pups in the room. As he cleaned it off, he heard the vacuum turn on, and looked to see what was going on. He gained a surprised look upon seeing that the Dalmatian with the star tag was holding the vacuum nozzle in her paws and vacuuming up all the dust, a determined look on her face.

She must have felt his eyes upon her, for she stopped vacuuming and looked at him, a confused look on her face. She let out a yip, prompting him to speak.

"Oh, um, sorry," He said. "I was just a bit surprised. But thanks for the help! I appreciate it." He finished with a smile, making the dog smile in return before she returned to her vacuuming.

As he returned to his dusting, he kept one eye on the pups exploring the room, making sure they weren't about to break anything. He soon finished dusting the dresser and moved on to the entertainment center, weaving his way through the pups. The Dalmatian with the vacuum, meanwhile, had finished vacuuming the carpet and the rug, and was just starting to clean the recliner, when she was suddenly flung into the air by the footrest as a pup pulled the lever on the side of the chair in curiosity.

She let out a loud yelp as she flew through the air, which caught Gavin's attention. He turned, and his eyes widened upon seeing the dog flying through the air towards a painting on the wall. "Woah!" He cried, dropping the duster as he ran to intercept her. He threw himself into her trajectory, and felt her crash into his chest, prompting him to wrap his arms around her as he fell to the ground, fortunately not landing on any pups.

The rest of the Dalmatians let out worried barks and yips as they crowded around him while he sat up. He looked down at the Dalmatian in his arms, who had her eyes shut tightly and was curled in a ball. "Hey, are you alright?" He asked the dog, prompting her to slowly open her eyes and uncurl before looking around, which made the rest of the dogs let out happy barks and yips, with most of them going back to exploring the room.

She had a confused look on her face for a few seconds, before it was replaced with realization as she looked up at him, pointing a paw at him and letting out a couple of yips. "Are you alright?" he repeated, prompting her to nod. "Good." He then reached out and began to scratch her behind the ears, making her gain a relaxed expression as she leaned into his hand, enjoying his petting.

He continued to do so for several more seconds before he then stopped, causing the Dalmatian to let out a whine of disappointment. "Sorry girl, but I need to finish cleaning," He said as he removed her from his lap and stood up. She whined sadly at that before she gained an "I-got-an-idea" look on her face and ran back over to the vacuum, confusing him and some of the others as well. She then resumed cleaning, but at a quicker pace than before while making little yips and grunts, a determined look on her face.

"Wow," Gavin said as he watched her finish cleaning the recliner and bookshelf in about ten minutes before she then moved on to the nightstands and bed. "She's good."

The Dalmatian with the three collars rolled her eyes upon hearing that while making a few barks and yips, as if she was saying "You have no idea."

After watching the Dalmatian clean the bed and nightstands for a few seconds, He decided that he oughtta finish cleaning the entertainment center, and made his way back over to it, before doing just that. Thirty more minutes passed before he finished cleaning it of dust, and he then stepped back and admired the result. He then heard the vacuum turn off, and turned to see what was going on and how much of the room was left to clean, and gained a look of surprise. The Dalmatian with the star tag had finished cleaning the rest of the room, and had a pleased look on her face as she examined her handiwork from atop the vacuum. She then hopped off and unplugged it, before she wrapped up the hose and began struggling to pull it towards the door.

He walked over to her and said, "Here. Let me help you," as he grabbed the vacuum and carried it over to the door, setting it on the hardwood floor of the hallway. The dog, who had followed him, had a wagging tail and a smile on her face as she barked happily, making him smile in return. "Thanks for the help," He continued as he reached down and scratched her behind the ears once more for a few seconds, making her tail wag even faster. He then set the duster on top of the vacuum before heading back into the room. The dog whined once more, having enjoyed the petting immensely, and let out a sigh before she took the duster in her mouth and began pushing the vacuum down the hallway.

"Alright, so now what do I do?" He asked himself aloud as he picked up his things and placed them on the bed. "What's the gameplan?"

As if to answer his question, his stomach let out a loud growl, catching everyone's attention. "Heh-heh, I had a light lunch on my way here," He said with an embarrassed chuckle. "Also, I think my body knows it's time for dinner."

As soon as he said "dinner," the Dalmatian with the three collars gained a large smile as she let out a loud yip, before he was then tackled by the pups, who were all yipping and barking in excitement. He couldn't help but laugh in response as he lay on the floor.

"What in the world was that?" He asked aloud as he began to carefully extricate himself from the puppy pile. 'Alright, let's see,' He thought. 'I said my body knew it was time for dinner, and I was then literally dogpiled.' His eyes then widened as he got an idea. "Did I say a trigger word?" He asked, looking at Delilah and Daisy questioningly.

They nodded, as did the Dalmatian with the three collars and the dog with the star tag.

"Yes! I was right!" He cheered while doing a fist pump, amusing the pups and adults. His stomach then growled once more, prompting him to straighten back up. "Well, I better get some food so I can make di-" He caught himself from completing the word "dinner," and let out a sigh of relief as he said, "That was close. As much as I enjoy you pups, I don't want to be constantly tackled by you all." He then walked over to his luggage and grabbed one suitcase, before he turned to them with it in hand. "Can you help me find the kitchen please?" He asked.

The dogs nodded, making him smile, before he was then led downstairs to the first floor and down the main hallway and a couple of steps into what must have been the kitchen.

The kitchen was rather large, with a green and white tile floor that had light blue tiles scattered on it, aquamarine walls, a tan ceiling, and a white ceiling fan with aquamarine blades. To the immediate left of the doorway he had just came through was a large blue refrigerator, and an orange combined washer and dryer with some sort of equipment and a red button on it sat next to the fridge. There were several bright yellow cabinets and drawers, while an oven and dishwasher were set between some of them. A large sink sat in the center of the counter above the cabinets and drawers, while several piles of dirty dog bowls, dishes, and other objects sat in it. There was a thin strip of tan brick that ran on the wall the length of the counter, while a couple of bright yellow cabinets were wall-mounted above the counter on either side of a large wall-mounted range hood that was over the oven.

At the far end of the counter was a white window seat that had several cushions on it, while a small round table sat next to it underneath a light fixture that consisted of five lightbulbs attached to beautiful straight wires that came down from the ceiling. A yellow chair was pushed up to the table.

Up against the wall by the chair was a beautiful yellow china cabinet that had a two-door cabinet at the bottom, a large drawer above the cabinet, and a shelf near the top. Bags of dog food were set on the shelf, while dog food dispensers sat above the drawer.

The cabinet stood next to a large window that consisted of two long vertical pieces of glass, one wider than the other. There was a handle on the narrower panel, which was closer to the cabinet. The rod and string for a pull curtain were attached above and next to the window respectively, although there was no curtain on the rod. A few feet away from the window was a doorway that lead to another room.

"Wow," Gavin said as he looked around at the room. "What a nice kitchen." His stomach then growled loudly once more, reminding him that he was hungry. He gently set the suitcase down on the floor as he looked at the fridge. "Well, time to unpack this food." He then opened the suitcase, revealing it to be filled with various types of food and drink.

He opened the fridge, and found it to be mostly filled with cold packs and treats. He began to empty the fridge, setting the cold packs and treats next to him as he did so, while the dogs sat around and watched him, most of them drooling upon seeing the treats and smelling the delicious food he had packed.

As the fridge got closer to being empty, Gavin noticed from the corner of his eye three pups rush forward and grab treat bags. He quickly turned and wrapped his arms around them, pulling them close to him as he said, "Gotcha!"

The three pups were all males and all had white spotless fur on the front halves of their bodies and black fur with white spots on the back halves which resembled pants, a mark on their foreheads that resembled a cowlick of hair, and one ear notch. Their right ears were completely back and hung down. Although they seemed identical, they all had different traits. For starters, each of them had a gold chain collar with a gold number on it that designated which one was which from 1-3.

The pup with the number 1 on his collar had a round patch spot on his left eye, a black left ear with one white spot, and a small tatter on his right ear.

The pup with the number 2 had a round patch spot on his right eye and a black left ear with 2 white spots and a small tatter on it.

The pup with the number 3 had a round patch spot on both his eyes, a black left ear with 3 white spots and a small tatter on his right ear, but on a different place than the first pup's ear.

The pups looked up at him in surprise, treat bags in their mouths as they stared at him. He chuckled as he gently but firmly pulled the bags from their mouths. "I'm pretty sure you three know it's not time to eat those," He said as he set the bags by the others, before he then set them back down.

The pups giggled, before they launched themselves at the bags once more. Gavin let out another laugh as he grabbed them before they got to the bags, their mouths closing an inch away from them. "You three are going to be a handful I can tell," He said as he held them. "Now, I need to put my food away, so please behave." He set them down once more, and made sure they went a good distance away from the treat bags before he resumed emptying the fridge.

A few minutes later, he pulled out the last cold pack and treat bag, and smiled. "That's the last of them!" He said, before he turned back to his suitcase. "Now for the food." He first took out a half gallon of milk and set that in the fridge, before he then took out a box of Lucky Charms Cereal, stood up, and set it on top of the fridge. "Alright, so that will be for my breakfast," He continued, before he was then tackled to the floor by the pups. He chuckled as he quickly got up from the pile of pups and resumed putting food either on or in the fridge. "So there's more than one trigger word," He said to himself, making a mental note of the trigger words he currently knew. A few more minutes went by before he finished putting his food into the fridge, while leaving a wrapped premade sub sandwich and a bottle of water on the counter next to the fridge.

"Alright, now that I've gotten all the food put away, let me just put these back before I eat," He stated as he started putting the cold packs and treats back into the fridge. It took him about fifteen minutes to put everything back into the fridge, before he then shut the door. "Now I can go eat."

He then grabbed the water and sandwich before heading over to the table and sat down. As he began to eat his dinner, he watched as Delilah made a couple yips and barks, before she and Daisy went into the next room. The pups quickly went after her, and he soon heard the sounds of eating and bowls moving around, which made him realize that the room was the dog's dining room. 'Huh, well at least I know where they all eat,' he thought as he bit into his sandwich.

He soon finished his sandwich and water, got up from the table, and began searching for a trash can. He eventually found one in a cabinet next to the oven, and tossed his garbage into it before pushing it back into the cabinet. He then turned his attention to the full sink.

"That needs to be taken care of," He said, before he gained a determined look as he walked over to it. He quickly opened the dishwasher to see what condition it was in, and saw that it was full of squeaky toys. "I'll just wash them by hand, and take care of this in the morning," He continued as he shut the dishwasher and turned to the sink. He turned on the water and grabbed soap and a sponge, before he then began to wash the dishes.

As he washed the dishes, he began to sing a song to pass the time.

"In the morning when the world came awake
Before you knew me I knew your name
It was painted across the day as it breaks
An impression in your window frame."

As he sang, his voice carried over to the next room. All the dogs, except for one, stopped eating and raised an ear as they listened to the singing. They looked into the kitchen, and watched as he continued to sing and gently sway from side to side as he cleaned the dishes, completely unaware of the audience behind him.

"When you saw me out your window
Singing from the garden
Only the beginning
I'm only getting started
I don't mind the digging
Baby, I'll work harder
I've been washing dishes
Singing from the bottom

But one day I'll be running this place
And one day I could take you away
But I want you to wonder what's my name
Because I need you to want me the same."

Some of the pups quietly moved into the kitchen, their food laying forgotten in their bowls as they listened to him sing. The pup that had remained at the table eating eventually noticed that everyone else was looking into the kitchen, and looked over into the kitchen as well, curious to see what they were looking at.

"When you saw me washing dishes
Singing from the bottom
Only the beginning
I'm only getting started
I don't mind the digging
Baby, I'll work harder
I've been in the ashes
Singing from the garden

Where everything reaches for the sun
Still unsure of what we'll become
But I need you to reach out to me
See in me more than I could see
Because I'm afraid that

One day is only two words we say
I don't want to let them get in the way
Of all the plans that we should be making right now
Right now

Who took the time and where did they take it
I want to take it back
I don't want them to break it
All these plans that we should be making right now
Right now

"You see one day I'll be running this place
And one day I could take you away
But I want you to wonder what's my name
Because I need you to want me the same

When you saw me out your window
Singing from the bottom
Only the beginning
I'm only getting started
I don't mind the digging
Baby, I'll work harder
I've been washing dishes
Singing from the bottom

One day is only two words we say
I don't want to let them get in the way
Of all the plans that we should be making right now
Right now

Who took the time and where did they take it
I want to take it back
I don't want them to break it
All these plans that we should be making right now."

As he finished singing, there was an explosion of happy barks, yips, and howls from behind him, making him jump a bit, having been startled. He turned around, and saw that the dogs had come back into the kitchen and were apparently cheering and applauding for him.

"Um, thank you," He said with a little bow, a little embarrassed. "Sorry if I bothered you." The dogs shook their heads, letting him know that he hadn't bothered them at all with his singing. "Well, um, I'm just about done with the sink," He continued, gesturing to the small number of dirty dishes left in the sink.

The Dalmatian with the star tag gained a large smile and let out a happy yip upon hearing that.

"So, um, once I'm done, could one of you show me where all these things go?" He asked.

The Dalmatian with the star tag walked up and let out a bark along with a nod, making him smile. "Alright then," He said, bending down and scratching her head for a few seconds. "I'll be done in a few minutes." He then straightened up and resumed cleaning the dishes, while the dogs went back into the dining room to eat.

A few minutes later, he finished cleaning the dishes, and let out a sigh of relief as he opened the sink drains, allowing the dirty water to drain away. He turned around to go get the Dalmatian with the star tag, but saw that she was already on her way over to him. "I was just about to get you," He said as she came up to him. "So, where do these things go?"

For the next several minutes he was shown where everything that had been in the sink went, and was then helped by the Dalmatian in putting everything away. Once they were finished, he smiled at the Dalmatian, and scratched her head once more as he said, "Thanks for helping me out."

The Dalmatian let out a happy yip before sighing happily as she leaned into his scratches. He smiled at the cute sight, and decided to pick her up, making her yelp in surprise as he did so. She began to struggle in his arms, but he then began to gently rub her belly as he began walking out of the kitchen, causing her to stop struggling as she gained a relaxed look on her face. Before he left the kitchen, he made sure to grab the empty suitcase with one hand as he held her in the crook of his arm.

"Consider this your reward for helping me out girl," He said as he went down the hallway and started heading upstairs.

The Dalmatian let out a content yip as she lay in his arm, having been completely disarmed by his rubbing earlier.

Eventually he got to his room, and entered it with the Dalmatian still in his arm. He set the empty suitcase down on the floor by the foot of the bed, and sat down in the recliner before turning his attention back to the Dalmatian. He began scratching and rubbing her belly again, which caused her to let out a happy bark before she began letting out several happy little yips, making him smile.

He did this for a few more minutes, before he paused upon hearing a series of happy yips and barks coming from his door. The Dalmatian in his arms heard it as well, and they both looked to see who was the source. Sitting in the doorway was the Dalmatian with three collars, a large grin on her face as she pointed at them with a paw, apparently laughing at what was happening.

He watched her laugh for a few more seconds, before he looked back down at the dog in his arms, and saw that she had an embarrassed look on her face. "There's no reason to be embarrassed girl," He said to her. She appeared to ignore him though, and covered her face with her paws in embarrassment while the other dog continued to laugh.

"Hmmm," He hummed as he examined the situation. 'What could I do to make her not so embarrassed?' He thought, before he then got an idea. "Hey, I think I know how to fix this situation," He whispered to the dog, causing her to move a paw away and look at him with one eye. "I'll give her the same treatment I gave you. Does that sound like a good idea?"

The dog removed her other paw as she began mulling over the idea, before she then gave him an unsure look and let out a quiet yip, as if she was saying, "I don't know. Maybe?"

"Well, I'm going to try it, alright?" He asked her, prompting her to slowly nod, the unsure look remaining on her face. "Here goes nothing." He then resumed scratching her and rubbing her belly, causing her to quickly resume making happy yips, which made the other dog laugh even harder.

He watched as the other dog laid down on the floor and rolled over as she continued to laugh, her eyes closed as tears streamed from them. He quickly stopped petting the dog in his lap, and slowly set her down on the floor, causing her to let out a quiet, confused and disappointed whine and yip. He quietly got up from the recliner and began to tiptoe over towards the other dog, who was still laughing, but was slowly beginning to calm down as she lay on the floor.

He soon got right in front of her, and gained a large grin as he looked down at her. The dog realized that someone was in front of her, and opened her eyes, only for them to widen upon seeing him. "It's your turn!" He exclaimed as with one fell swoop he picked her up, put her in his arms, and began to scratch and rub her belly.

The dog let out a surprised and scared yelp as she found herself in his arms, and began to struggle to get out, prompting him to increase his rate of scratching and rubbing. She tried to fight off his administrations, but she started to feel herself relax under his touch, much to her dismay. She continued to struggle to get out, but he could tell her struggles were losing strength, and continued petting her.

Eventually she stopped struggling upon realizing that he wasn't going to stop, and lay there in his arms, a resigned look on her face as she let out a sigh and yip, though she had to admit, he was doing a good job. He smiled as she lay there in his arms, and walked over to the recliner and sat down, while the Dalmatian with the star tag just watched with a surprised expression on her face.

"See, my idea worked," He said to the Dalmatian watching them. "Now you're not embarrassed." The Dalmatian slowly nodded as he continued to pet the dog in his arms. He continued to do so for a few more minutes, till he figured he had done enough.

After all, it was now dark outside, and he hadn't unpacked his things or made the bed. "Alright, I think that's enough," He said as he stopped petting her, and gently set the dog down on the floor next to the other one.

The dog he had just pet shook herself, and then looked away from the other Dalmatian, refusing to look at their grin.

"Well, I need to start unpacking," he said as he got up and made his way over to his full suitcase. "I'll see you guys later." With that he began to unpack the suitcase, while the dogs watched him for a few seconds, before they then left the room.

It took him about a half hour to unpack his suitcase and put everything away, but once he finished unpacking it, he let out a sigh of relief. The bed now had green sheets on it, an animal themed blanket, and a single pillow with a green pillowcase on it.

"Alright, now that that's been taken care of, I need to take a shower," He said as he grabbed his small bag of toiletries, a light brown towel, and some sleepwear, which consisted of a sleeveless t-shirt, boxers, and plain pajama pants, before heading into the bathroom to do so.

After he took his shower, changed into his sleepwear, and brushed his teeth, he exited the bathroom and headed over to where his backpack was. He picked it up and walked over to the bookshelf, before he opened it, and began pulling out various books.

As he set them on the shelf, he made sure that the spine of each book was facing out towards him, letting him see the titles of each one. He soon finished taking out all the books from his backpack, and let out a happy sigh upon seeing his books lining the shelves. "That looks wonderful," He said as he looked at the books. He then heard the sounds of many paws coming down the hallway towards his door, and turned to see who was coming.

A few seconds went by, before pups came pouring into the room, yipping and barking happily as they came to a stop in front of him, tails wagging hard while Delilah and Daisy walked in along with the Dalmatians he had pet earlier. "Well hello there!" He stated happily as he looked at all of them. "Have you come to wish me a good night?"

The pups nodded, making him smile. "Well that's mighty kind of you," He said as he got onto his knees. "I was wanting to wish you all a good night as well." The pups yipped at that while he held his arms out and said, "How about a nighttime group hug?"

He was then tackled by the pups, making him laugh as he said, "I take that as a yes." He then snuggled with the pups, hugging as many of them as he was able with how many there were. After hugging them for several seconds, he heard some barks coming from the door, making the pups whine and yip sadly before they slowly got off him. When he sat up, he heard the pups give one collective bark before they began leaving the room.

"Goodnight!" He said with a wave as they left. "Sleep well!" He heard a couple yips in response, before he got up, walked over to the door, and positioned the door so that it was open a few inches.

He then went back over to his backpack and reached into it one more time and pulled out a blue journal along with a pen, before sitting in the recliner and opening it to the first page. There was a short message on the inside of the cover that read "A gift for my son. Enjoy it! Love, Mom." He smiled upon reading it, and then turned his attention to the first page, before he began to write. He wrote in it for several minutes, before he stopped, and then shut the journal.

He placed the journal and pen in one of the drawers of his nightstand, put his backpack away in the closet, turned off all the lights, and then got into bed. As he closed his eyes he said, "I wonder what tomorrow will be like here?"

He then fell asleep, completely unaware that there was someone else in the room.

Standing at the foot of Gavin's bed was an invisible woman made of light and wearing a white robe, while a veil covered all of her face except for her mouth. She walked over to where his head was and smiled a warm smile, before she spoke. "Soon you will remember that which you have lost," She said, her voice sounding somewhat angelic. She then reached out and touched him on the chest as she continued speaking. "And now, it is time for your abilities to start to awaken." A large multicolored orb slowly floated out of her and over her arm till it reached his chest, before it sank in. She then took her arm away, before her gaze turned to his necklace. She gently touched it, causing it to glow for several seconds before she removed her hand, her smile growing a bit as she said, "It is finished." She looked at him for a few more seconds, before she turned away and began walking towards the end of the bed.

She looked at him one more time as she reached the end of the bed, and said, "We will meet again Gavin." She then snapped her fingers and disappeared, leaving no trace she had ever been there.

Tomorrow was going to be an interesting day for Gavin.

Meanwhile…

Delilah and Day were having an important conversation in their room, which was a large supply closet filled with various things.

"Well this has been an interesting day," Day said to her wife as she snuggled up next to her on their bed, which consisted of a red suitcase that had in it a large orange cushion with small white dots.

"Indeed it has dear," Delilah replied. "I had no idea Dodie had adopted a child. That's a wonderful thing for her to do."

"It is," Day said. "And you know, while I am apprehensive about having a human in the house, it will be kind of interesting to see how things change as a result."

"It will be interesting, that's for sure," Delilah replied with a giggle. "And it seems Dilyn will have more help with the chores."

"Yeah, that will be good for her," Day said with a nod, before she then turned to her wife. "You know we've always been curious about humans. And now we have one living in our house!"

"Yes, I admit that is a good thing dear," Delilah replied with a smile. She then let out a large yawn. "Well, I think it's time to turn in. Goodnight dear." She then laid her head down and closed her eyes.

"Goodnight honey," Day said before she too laid her head down and closed her eyes, snuggling up to her as she did so.

As they both went to sleep, the same thought went through their heads. 'That human is rather cute.'

Dilyn and Dolly leaned away from their parent's bedroom door and looked at each other as they walked away.

"So Dolly, what do you think of our new housemate?" Dilyn asked her sister as they began heading towards their bedroom.

"I don't really want him here," She replied. "We don't need a human. We've been doing fine on our own."

"Well, Mom and Ma sure think him being here's going to be a good thing," Dilyn replied. "And I think so as well."

Dolly rolled her eyes. "You're just saying that because he washed the dishes and gave you belly rubs," She said.

"No I'm not!" Dilyn stated indignantly. "And need I remind you that you enjoyed his belly rubs as well?"

Dolly blushed at the memory of what had happened earlier, before shaking her head. "Whatever! The point is that we don't need a human," She replied, causing Dilyn to sigh.

"So how will you get rid of him then?" She asked her.

Dolly shrugged. "I'll figure something out," She said before they then reached their bedrooms. "Goodnight sis."

"Goodnight Dolly," Dilyn replied before they went to their respective beds and fell asleep.

Well, this was an interesting chapter! Sorry for its length!

Can't wait to write more!

I do not own "Washing Dishes." Jack Johnson does.

Let me explain the history of animal's abilities to become anthros for this story. Since the beginning of the world animals have had the genetic ability to turn into anthros, but only when they reach a certain age and conditions. The conditions vary from animal to animal and individual to individual, but the age at which they can turn into anthros is almost always at puberty. There are early bloomers, but they are exceedingly rare.

One such condition or trigger could be kissing a human. Another could be romance.

At first animals would become anthros all the time both in public and in private, but people feared what was happening, and began to persecute them, fearing there would be an uprising. So, animals began to stop turning into anthros in public and kept it only for private times, such as mating.

Some animals altogether stopped using their ability to become anthros, and eventually lost the gene that allowed them to become anthros.

The animals continued to hide their anthropomorphic ability for hundreds of years. But in the late 1960s, the animals had enough and began to protest, wanting rights like everyone else. Eventually, the world agreed that they deserved rights. Countries began to give animals (Mainly domestics) citizenship and rights such as voting and housing. Despite being citizens, most people still consider them as pets, which most animals didn't mind. In modern times there are still problems with animals though. Wild animals and those animals called vermin are asking for citizenship that they have been denied.

Then came a big battle of whether it was fine for people to get married to the anthro animals. After many, many years and cases, it was ruled that it was fine to do so.

Now human-animal hybrids do exist, but they are not very common. Their numbers are starting to rise, particularly in places like Canada and the U.S.A. They can range from looking like a regular animal to looking like a regular human. And they can have some, all, or none of the abilities of whatever animal was their parent.

Lifespan varies with each animal, but it does increase each time they become anthro. The more they become anthro, the longer they will live.

I did my best with researching how same-sex couples interacted and called each other. If I made any mistakes please tell me!

I also did research on Dalmatians, and there is a link of deafness with blue-eye gene. That link does not exist in this story.

I have another poll out regarding this story. Please vote on it!

If you have any suggestions as to how Dolly tries to get rid of the human, please pm them to me!

Also, I will be working on my other stories! Do not worry about that!
