Tonight while having dinner
A Short conversation (really happened while I was having my dinner).
TV: Akh lad jave from "Loveyatri"
Warina: Jo akh lad jave saari raat neendna aave (Sings)
Me: (Having my dosa) let's exaggerate this situation Chayanika! (Looking at TV) All are dancing in street shops! Girls in sarees and boys in dhotis! (We usually exaggerate something low-funda as high-funda but this time high-funda as low-funda)
Sister: Hahahahaha! If this a rural area, Kane will be begging somewhere in the corner Like,
"Amma! Picha podunga ma!" (Trans: Give me something dear mother) Hnn! Can't believe he is an Australian!
Me: (Annoyed) just because he wears clothes like torn-thingy, it doesn't mean that he is a beggar!
Later:
TV: Aao kabhi hoveli pe (from Stree)
Kriti: Aao kabhi hoveli Pe! (Sings)
Sister: That is Salima! Dressed like a beggar!
Me: Chainu! Please stop it!
Sister: Here Kane will be the skeleton, Goki as badshah and Jim as Rajkumar Rao!
After some time
Sister: (Looking at the song video) why are Kane and Salima separated? Why is Jim watching Salima like anything?!
Me: (Trying to control my temper)
~Conversation ends before Naari Naari (Made in China) comes. #sighs#
Hi!
I know that it's a stupid conversation. :P
Back with a mysterious story!
Last year, I went to a hill station with my friends. One of my friends told me a horror story while we all were lying on the bed with lights being switched off. But, more of a modified and extended version of it. Actually this is not a horror one, but a more mysterious and scary.

If you are ready, then let's go!
It was a cloudy day, gray colored sponge like structures were filling the sky. The leaves were already turning into Olive green in color, some trailing on the streets, some on the roofs of few houses, shops and other such structures. People were wearing stoles around their neck and thick woolen sweaters, puffed jackets were being worn by some. The beggars were coping their body with their slender skinny arms and ragged clothes and torn shawls. Their vessels had a few coins, which were being made to make sounds by tossing them. They collided the walls of the steel vessels, making irritating sounds.
The path was dry, creating friction between the foot wears and the aisle. The day was rather gloomy…
But, a certain orangette is always happy, irrespective of the weather and its gloominess. The young lad is always happy roaming in and around the city of New York. She wears a pair of circle-shaped spectacles above her purple orbs, a common object of hers. One of the most peculiar feature of hers is the two strands of her hair falling on her head like grass blades. She is good at tennis, interested in sciences and takes up cooking as her passion.
On that cloudy day, she was hoping up and down, rotating her bag three-hundred-sixty degrees clockwise for a countless number of times. She was happy to the core, as she passed her entrance exam.
"Yes! I did it! I passed the exam! Hurrah! I will go to a good college soon!"
The orangette turned her gaze towards those beggars. Her smile faded away. But, she took out a few dollars out from her bag and gave them to the beggars.
"Have faith on god. Everything will be alright. Don't worry, whatever happens, it will happen for your goodwill. Please have hope on yourselves."
"God bless you my child!" greeted a young woman cradling her child.
"Thank you young lady. You look pretty today," said that girl as she smiled at the cute infant.
The woman smiled at her.
The orangette walked home, this time walking decently.
The orangette reached the threshold of her house.
She unlocked the door as she twisted the key inside the keyhole of the lock.
She danced happily, flinging her bag on the sofa. Suddenly, she saw a navy blue velvet box on the window pane. Her eyebrows shrunk after looking at it. She went closer and closer, closer and closer, and to the closest.
She touched that box. She took it and opened it….
"Aah!" exclaimed the girl as she blocked her eyesight.
The light emitted from that box almost blinded her eyes. After that beam of light disappeared, she took her palms away from her face and looked at the purplish object in the box.
A purple stone on a ring! An amethyst attached to the ring! Amethyst ring! Wow! How it looked!
She was amazed! She didn't know how the ring came here, but she was caught up with that lovely ring!
She gently took it out and wore that on her left ring finger.
"Hmm….. Looks good on me! I am gonna wear this for my birthday!"
But, she didn't knew who left that amethyst ring. Hnn…. But she didn't care about it. All she cared was that she was happy. Along with it, she noticed a letter on that.
When she was about to touch that letter, a young orangette toddler pounced on her.
"Justin!"
"Emily! My sister! Advanced happy birthday! It has been a long time since we met!" exclaimed that young boy.
"Hey Justin! You are squeezing me man! I think you'll make a juice out of me," said the orangette.
After that kid retreated from her, he received a kiss on his cheek by his sister.
"Hey! You have grown up so tall! You look kind different! Welcome you little gentleman!" exclaimed the orangette as she pinched his cheek.
"Hi Emily! Even you have grown up so big! You are taller, much prettier than ever!" exclaimed that young boy, showing his glossy teeth.
The orangette lifted her younger brother, holding his light weight on her arms.
"So kiddo, how are your blading days?"
"Going on well sis! Do you know, I have won so many competitions! And sis, what's that pretty ring which you are wearing it on your cute ring finger."
"Oh, this one I just found that here. I don't know who kept it here, but looks pretty right?"
"Yeah, of course!"
"But, this ring….. How did it come here? Nobody stays with me in this house. I am the only person who'll stay here. And Justin, how did you come here man?"
"Umm…. I came with Aunt Jenny. She is busy talking to her friend by phone. She'll come soon."
"Okay, I'll bring you both somethings to eat. You go and sit."
The young toddler jumped on the puffed cushion, making a "thump" sound on it.
"Come on Justin, its worth more! Or else I'll not have a couch to sit on."
"Sorry…" apologized that boy.
The orangette gulped and took that letter.
To the girl who wears this ring,
This ring was worn by a princess who lived thousands of years ago. That princess was abused by her parents for being a girl. So, she committed suicide on her eighteenth birthday. But, before killing herself, she dropped that ring, which rolled on the floor. But, mysteriously, all the girls who were around here and were of her age died one by one the next day. After her parents realized their mistake, they safely kept this ring in a box and it was safeguarded in all the generations. Till date, it is safe, not have being lost its texture.
The girl gulped…. She tried to take off that ring from her finger, but she failed.
"Urgh! Why is this not coming out from my damn finger?"
She grabbed that letter and tried to tear it, but shockingly, she wasn't able to.
"What the hell…..? Something is fishy here!"
Then, she turned back and saw something written there too.
Whichever girl who wears this ring should feel proud being born as a girl. The world will realize its importance, so don't miss this precious thing.
The orangette nodded.
"I see…. Let's see how it works. Something holy behind this."
Suddenly, her eyes glimmered like pools after looking at her aunt.
"Aunt Jenny!" exclaimed that orangette as she went and hugged her tightly.
"Hi Emily!" exclaimed that middle-aged brunette, hugging her niece back.
After they both retreated from each other, the brunette spoke.
"Dear! Advanced happy birthday! Okay, what's special?"
"Umm… Black forest cake, strawberry pudding, Danish pastries, lasagnas, Chicken sausages and so on! I have so much to tell!"
The brunette chortled after hearing her niece's menu.
"Good! I'll help you then!"
"And aunt, I passed the entrance examinations! They are good enough for a good college, you know?"
"Aww! Really?! Congratulations! We want treat for that too!"
"Yes! Surely you will get one!"
Wash Basin:
The orangette went to the wash basin to brush her teeth. After she looked at the liquid soap stored in a bottle, an idea struck her as fast as a thunderbolt.
"I'll try removing this using this soap…. Will it work?"
She pressed the sucker to produce the light pink liquid on her palms. She rubbed it lavishly, producing bubbles and lathers. She then exerted a huge force on her ring finger, though it pained.
"Aah!" whined that girl after pulling out that amethyst ring.
She let out a sigh and went off for brushing her teeth.
Around late morning:
The orangette was having the first meal of the day. Suddenly, she heard someone ringing the house bell.
She went outside to open the door. To her surprise, she saw a pinkette and a blonde.
"Max! Mathilda! How are you here?"
"Advanced happy birthday Emily!" greeted both of them together.
"Get in both of you! Sorry guys, I am not yet done with my breakfast. I woke up late in the morning."
"No problem Em. We came here to see you."
"And Mathilda, when did you come here?"
"Yesterday night. I heard that you have passed your entrance with good grades, so thought of meeting you. By the way, tomorrow is your birthday."
"Yes, and thank you so much guys! I am angry with Michael! He has gone to his cousin's wedding! I wanted to receive a gift from him and that Steve has gone for soccer tournament! Only Eddy and Rick will be coming, but thank god you guys are here too."
"We are always there for you Em. And don't worry, Julia, Mariah and Ming Ming will come here tomorrow. To add on, Tyson, Kenny and Hilary are there in Vegas. They'll come here tomorrow."
The orangette wasn't able to control her happiness, so she squealed in happiness.
"I never thought that so many of them will come! Aww! This will be my best birthday!"
Will it be so?
Room:
"So, I am really very happy guys! I never thought that this birthday will have a huge crowd! But my school buddies are betrayers! Not even a single classmate of mine is coming, you know?"
"It's okay Ema. You are having so many guests though, so feel happy about it at least," said the blonde, patting her shoulders.
"Yes! Your actual buddies will come! Do not worry!" consoled the pinkette.
"Okay, fine buddies. Anyways, Mathilda can you help me tomorrow for dressing up?" asked the orangette.
"Yes! I will!"
Afternoon:
The orangette was fast asleep on the bed.
"Tring!"
Hearing the alarm, she woke up.
"Hua!" yawned that girl.
Stretching her hands, she realized something. A ring on her finger! The amethyst ring! Her eyes widened, heart started to palpitate and hands shivering.
"I-I-I-I-I'd remove this ring today! How come it's there on my ring finger?"
"Aunt wore that on your finger."
"Justin?"
"Yes, she wore that on your ring finger, because she said that you were wearing that yesterday. So, she thought that you probably lost it."
"But, I don't want this ring!"
"Why? It looks so pretty!"
Hall:
"What? I didn't."
"But you told that you'll wear that ring on her finger."
"I said, but I probably would have forgotten it. I wanted to wear that on her finger, but the post-man came. I went for him, so I forgot it."
"Really? Then how is that ring on her finger?"
"Probably she would have worn that by herself."
"But no aunt."
"She would have dear. Then who else would have?"
April 25 (Next day):
Emily's room:
The orangette was dressed in purple lace top with dark blue jean, hair being let free with a purple hair clip pinned on her hair. The girl wore a black watch on her left wrist and a thin-silver bracelet on the right. The creepy amethyst ring was surmounting her ring finger.
"Mathilda, I am really scared of this ring! Why on this earth I wore this?"
"It looks pretty Emily."
"But, it is equal to stealing. Let's give this ring to the police."
"We'll do that."
The pinkette tried to pull that ring out of her finger, which enabled the orangette to whine in pain.
"My god! This small damn ring is not coming out at all!"
The pinkette retreated her hand from the ring.
"Mathilda, I fear whether it would break in this attempt. We'll finish the cake cutting first. Then, let's go to the police station and let's take care of this ring there."
The orangette gulped and nodded in agreement.
"Okay, come let's go out. All are waiting for you there," said the pinkette as she guided the orangette
Hall:
The hall was designed with few lavender and white balloons, with some silver satins here and there. Yummy delight was laid on the rosewood table, each in silver containers.
The huge crowd greeted as the birthday baby stepped out, "Happy birthday Emily!"
The orangette was delighted to see each and every person with their gifts for her! The orangette quickly hugged her friends one by one.
"Julia! Mariah! Ming Ming! Hilary! Tyson! Kenny! Haven't seen you all for days!"
"We missed you a lot Ema! And, you look so pretty!" exclaimed the Spaniard.
"Even me too Jules."
"Emily! I am so hungry now! Please give me some food!" pleaded Tyson.
The brunette hit him on his head.
"Bread-basket! Don't be in a hurry! First, should cut the cake."
"Oh yeah! Then Emily! Quick! I am really very hungry now!" exclaimed the navy-blue haired.
"Okay, Okay, cool down Tyson. Cool down!" calmed the orangette American.
"Okay, let's sing for her!" exclaimed Kenny as he began to clap his hands, seeing Emily going next to the black-forest purple cake.
The orangette took the silver knife beside the cake, but….
She dropped it…
SLEESH!
….. On the floor.
Her face went blank and lifeless…..
Her mouth gaped….
"Emily?!" exclaimed everyone.
The brunette woman held her niece.
"Emily! What happened to you my dear?! Emily!"
The brunette slapped gently on her face for a few times. No response.
The bunch of eyes of the witnessing crowd went moist…..
The aunt placed her fingers on her niece's wrist to check her pulse.
But….
No pulse…
D-E-A-D…..
"EMILY!" cried the woman as she wobbled her body.
"EMILY!" everybody screamed.
"HOW IS SHE DEAD!" asked the hyper active blonde, as his eyes produced cascades.
The next day:
Hospital:
"Her body is ready to be disposed but she is alright. We don't know how she died," said the nurse sadly to the brunette woman.
Aunt Jenny nodded, but cried.
"Aunt Jenny! Aunt Jenny!" exclaimed Max.
"Yes Max?"
"Mathilda, Mariah and Ming Ming are dead too!"
The brunette woman dropped her purse….
The nurse gulped and said, "Actually she was wearing a purple ring. But, mysteriously, it came off by itself and rolled on the floor."
~The end~
