Welcome to the second part of my fanfiction mini-trilogy, The Dark Mistress, part of my Origin Series and my Long Series. :)

This time, the story focuses on the scarred lion named Tack and the Dark Mistress, Darth Freya. So, we're still in the Villains' World in this story. Next story might be on a different world. So, whether villains show up in the last part of this mini-trilogy will remain to be seen. So, of course, there are going to be villains in this fanfic, along with maybe some other characters. Wait and see. :)

*.*.*

Tack was not meant to be a prisoner. At least, until he was caught stealing some shrubbery from the Knights Who Say Ni! They caught him and imprisoned him that first time when he was just a cub. Of course, Tack used to be in a human shapeshifter form, going by the name of Daaron. That was his original name.

Now, he was Tack, the scarred lion named Tack, a prisoner once again, only this time at a Dark Mistress' tower in the Villains' World. Who was the Dark Mistress? Why, she was Darth Freya, who only recently split up from her lighter counterpart, Sandria Wolff. Tack did not understand why he was a prisoner to this villainess! Surely, there was a reason behind it.

Tack jerked away from the guards, furious over why he was a prisoner again. He didn't want to be trapped! He needed a way out! But how was he to do that? Surely, there must be a way for him to get through this conundrum.

He looked around at the tower's interior. The obsidian walls and the spiky torches didn't help Tack's mind. There was something else about this place, besides the red and grey furniture, and red rugs surrounding the tower's interior. The whole place felt foreboding and evil, as if good was being sucked out of this place. Only Tack's light was beginning to repel the darkness surrounding him.

He looked back at Freya's soldiers, as they departed from the tower, shutting the doors behind them. Tack sighed. Great. What was he to do now? Should he flee or avoid danger? He looked back at Freya, with her brunette hair and her black highlights, as well as her black and purple dress, as she closed the doors behind her with a smile.

"Tack, you're a sight for sore eyes. Come with me," Darth Freya said, leading Tack into her bed chamber. She sighed, grateful to be in this room. Tack gulped, seeing the queen-sized bed with its red covers. The red and grey motif continued to spread throughout the room, making Tack wonder if he was doing the right thing. He looked back at Freya as she appeared to him as a lioness, diving for him and knocking him to the floor. "Come on, Tack. Where's your spirit?" She leaned in and kissed him on the lips, driving his senses mad. For a moment, all seemed to go away. Then he realized this was wrong.

"Stop!" Tack backed away. He let out a groan, aching from the horrific experience. At last, he threw up, unsure what happened to him.

"You don't want me?" Freya asked, cautious.

"No, not like this!" Tack said, horrified even more. "Please, let's not do anything rash."

"Your good heart is stoppering this evil!" Freya said, snarling at him.

"Maybe that's how it's supposed to be," Tack said, calming down.

"Hmm. Perhaps you're right," Freya said, gripping Tack's leg as she stroked him. "Do you like it?"

Tack breathed, doing his best to keep calm. "We need to stop, before this gets out of hand." He looked at her, trying to relax. "Listen, can't we take this slowly? I mean, I don't love you like that. Surely, you understand."

"Well, I did encounter my lighter half not too long ago. The night is young. We have time," Freya said, still in her lioness form.

"Please stop," Tack gulped. He needed to get out of here. "Give it time." He pounded the floor with his fist. "You don't want me like this, Freya. Trust me. I know."

"Then what would you like me as?" Freya asked, seducing him. "A monster? A seductress? What do you want?"

"The kind you! The one I can depend on. I mean, I don't love you like this. This has to stop," Tack breathed in and out, not enjoying Freya stroking him. "Don't you understand? You want to be a good person, right?"

Freya sneered. "You don't know me!"

"Well, maybe I do," Tack said, beside himself with worry. "I know you want me, but you can't have me like this. Trust me. It doesn't work."

"And what do you know about me!" Freya screamed, grasping Tack's leg, making the scarred lion wince in pain. "Hmm? What do you know about me?" Tack gasped, doing his best not to cry, but tears flowed down his cheeks anyway. It was too awful being with her. Freya snarled, moving her clawed paw off of Tack's leg. She made her way towards the window in vain. Freya looked at Tack, seeing the hurt in his eyes. "You'll stay here. Tomorrow morning, you're gone. Don't expect to come back."

"Where are you sending me?" Tack asked, tears flowing down his face.

"You'll know, since I trust your family will wish to see you again," Freya said, making her way over to the bed and laying down on it. "You're welcome to stay in this room whenever you wish. If you leave, there will be consequences."

Tack reclined on the floor, crying softly. This was the last thing he expected. Freya crushed him, broke him in one night. He didn't know what to do or how to calm her down. The last thing he wanted to do was to be at right now, with her. Perhaps it was better that he leave. But then, sleep crept over him, leaving his body to heal and his mind to take in what just happened.

.

He awoke hours later, with the full moon's light shining down into the tower. Oh, how he wished he were with his family. Anything that would relieve him would be fine. He looked at Freya's sleeping form, which turned back into a human woman. She didn't understand the meaning of love, but that didn't mean Tack hadn't tried to reason with her. Then again, maybe it was better, after what happened to him, to let the matter pass.

He approached the window, taking in the moonlight with ease. A few tears streamed down his face. More than anything, he just wanted to leave. How could he trust her, after what happened to him? He needed to leave. He didn't want Freya chasing after him.

"I hope you find your way back to the light, after what you've done!" Tack told her sleeping form. "Otherwise…" He turned to the window, spotting Maleficent speaking with Hades over a dispute. Tack smacked his paw against the obsidian wall. He hated being in the Villains' World! More than anything, he knew it was time to leave. He glared at Freya, before attempting to think of an escape route, something that could ease his mind.

"I have to leave," Tack said, unsure if he could trust Freya's word. He looked at his surroundings, wondering if now was a good time to leave. He looked back at Freya, and then to the Great Lion who entered the room. It was Aslan. What was he doing here? "Aslan, how?"

"I am with you," Aslan said, approaching him.

"How are you here?" Tack asked him, confused.

"You are not the only one thinking of a way to leave this tower. Your light brought me here. It is your goodness that may save Freya," Aslan said, facing the human woman's sleeping form.

"How can she come back to the light, after what she did to me?" Tack asked, cautious.

"If she finds a way to seek reason, there may be hope for her. No, you don't need to come back to her. But after tonight, it's better that you leave. The portal to the planet Zafna, Teremode, is waiting for you," Aslan said, blowing on Tack and revealing a mirror portal to Zafna, now brimming with life. "Go. I will follow."

"Thank you," Tack said, taking one last look at his surroundings, and then Freya, before making his way through the mirror portal and back to his family.

.

The moment Tack stepped foot on the planet Zafna, he didn't expect his family to be here. They greeted him with open arms, realizing that something bad happened to him. Scar-ra was the first to announce this, "Are you all right?"

"I'll explain later," Tack said, still hurt over what happened. "I need rest. I feel so hurt inside."

"We'll help you. Come on," Scar-ra said, leading Tack inside the white temple to heal and recuperate.

"Thank you," Tack said, looking back at Aslan's image in the mirror portal, wondering how the Great Lion was going to settle his dispute with Freya and the villains.

.

Freya awoke, spotting Aslan shaking his head. She wanted to flee, but found Aslan was blocking her path, roaring at her. "Aslan, what are you doing?"

"You've done Tack wrong tonight. It is time you and the villains pay for your crimes. You are not to leave this world until you've learned your lesson. The Emperor-Beyond-the-Sea is not happy with what you've done, and neither am I," Aslan said, angrily. "Don't let it happen again."

"Aslan," Freya said, unsure what was going on.

"I need to speak with the villains. Excuse me," Aslan said, making his way outside the tower and towards Maleficent and Hades. "Your punishments begin now. No villain leaves this world until your lessons are done. I will be watching you all very closely."

"You tricked us! You can't do this! Trapping us in one world! What are we supposed to do?" Maleficent screamed, furiously.

"You will find out, but if any villain enters this world, they shall not leave until their punishment is served. Is this understood?" Aslan asked, glaring at them.

"Yes," Maleficent said, unsure how she could face this Lion again, after what happened here.

Aslan nodded, leaving the Villains' World without saying another word.

.

Tack looked out the window. The temple was peaceful, quiet, and the healers got to work on him at once. He wasn't sure what would happen to him next, but at least one thing was clear: he had his family to count on and that was good, especially now that Aslan was taking care of things.

"Do you think we'll ever see Parker Dooley again? I miss him," Scar-ra said.

Tack smiled at her. "We will. One day, we may yet see him again."

"I hope you're right," Scar-ra said, walking away from him.

Tack nodded, looking out the window again. "I hope I'm right." And he felt sure that whatever happened next for them, that it would not over. A new hope would surely come for them all soon enough. Of that, he was sure of.
