chapter 1

Lion-o sighed as he looked out over New Thundera. The city was now complete thanks to the help of the other animals. It was great now that it was finished. Tygra and Cheetara were married and had twin boys. Pumyra and Bengali had a cub of their own. The kittens were reunited with their parents and Panthro found his long lost love. It seemed everyone in his life had that special someone everyone except him.

Lion-o felt so lonesome. He felt so sad. He was sitting in his throne looking rather down. Tygra came in and saw Lion-o looking rather down. "Lion-o you okay?" Tygra asked.

"I don't know, it's just well, you have Cheetara, Bengali has Pumyra, Wilykit and Wilykat's parents have each other, Panthro has Panella. I have no one," Lion-o said.

"What do you mean?' Tygra asked.

"Everyone in my life has someone to share their life with and I don't. I am probably destine to die old and alone," Lion-o said and walked off all sad.

Lion-o misery was soon known to the other Thundercats at dinner time. Lion-o was picking at his food instead of eating it. Pumyra ever the medic came over and felt Lion-o's forehead.

"What are you doing?" Lion-o asked sounding a little bit mopey.

"You don't have a fever, is something bothering you?" Pumyra asked going back to her seat.

"I am just feeling so lonely." Lion-o said.

"Lonely? You have your friends," Wilykat said.

Lion-o sighed and pushed his plate away. "I'm going to bed," Lion-o said sadly.

"Why is he sad? He isn't lonely he has friends," Wilykit said.

"Lion-o is lonely," Tygra said.

"How?" the kittens asked.

"Kids he's lonely because he doesn't have someone he can truly love," the kittens father said.

"Yes, Lion-o's basically lonely because he doesn't have romance in his life," Panthro said.

"Hopefully tomorrow he will feel like eating." Pumyra said.

Lion-o moped for days he was barely eating. Pumyra was concerned because Lion-o hadn't touched his food for most of the day one day. "Come on Lion-o you got to eat something, as a medic I am telling you to eat," Pumyra said.

"I'm not hungry," Lion-o said.

"If you're not going to eat go outside into Thundera for some fresh air, it might help you feel better," Pumyra said.

"Okay," Lion-o said and went out. After walking around Thundera Lion-o was cheering up a little. He was starting feel a little better and forget he was lonely. He bumped into someone. Then he saw her. "I'm sorry," he said.

"I'm sorry my king," she said.

"It's alright and you are?" Lion-o asked.

"Liosia," she said.

"You are very pretty," Lion-o said.

"Oh thank you, you are very handsome yourself," Liosia said.

"Would you care to get a drink?" Lion-o asked.

"I'd love too," Liosia said.

Lion-o and Liosia got a drink and had a nice conversation. "Would you like to meet up again?" he asked.

"I would love too," Liosia said.

Soon Lion-o and Liosia met up with each other on a regular basis.

Pumyra was glad that Lion-o had his appetite back.

Lion-o and Liosia started a relationship soon after.

About eleven months had passed and it was summer had just begun Lion-o set up a summer festival to celebrate. Lion-o found Liosia in the town square. "Liosia I was wondering if you would like to meet me at the festival and spend time together?" Lion-o asked.

"I would love too," Liosia said.

The festival came. Lion-o saw Liosia come up and they began to look around together. The people saw Liosia and Lion-o together and began to whisper they heard that they had been seen together they didn't realize it was true.

"Lion-o who is this?" Tygra asked coming up.

"This is Liosia, well I didn't tell you I met her and we started a relationship a few months after we met something about the two of us just clicked." Lion-o said.

"Yes he's so sweet," Liosia said.

"Well we are happy for you Lion-o," Cheetara said.

"We sure are," Tygra said.

"Lion-o I am going to go get some food I'll be right back," Liosia said.

Lion-o nodded and she left.

Tygra saw a box in Lion-o's pocket.

"Is that for what I think it is?" Tygra asked.

"Yes, I want to marry Liosia, after being with her for eleven months it made me realize she was the woman I wanted to hold, and kiss and spend the rest of my life with." Lion-o said.

"That's great," Tygra said.

In the middle of the festival Lion-o and Liosia were happy. Lion-o was nervous and decided to ask her to marry him. Lion-o got down on one knee. "Liosia I have loved the the time we spent together this past year, I love the love we share, so Liosia will you marry me and be my queen?" Lion-o asked.

"Yes," Liosia said.

The people of New Thundera cheered. "Long live the king!" they shouted.

Lion-o and Liosia were getting ready for their wedding and they were nervous. Liosia was made to look very beautiful. Her dress was silk and ivory colored. It made her white color beautiful. Pumyra and Cheetara helped out with make up and hair. Pumyra braided Liosia's hair.

Liosia felt so beautiful.

Lion-o was wearing royal suite he saw Liosia walk down the aisle he was so happy. They said their vows and then they kissed. Liosia agreed to do her best as queen and live to rule by Lion-o's side. Now they were married. Liosia was now Lion-o's queen.
