Hi everyone. I'm at my wit's end looking for a Ruroni Kenshin story arc. It's about Kaoru who trades lives/places with Kenshin so that he may be with Tomoe. In return she trains with Hiko and has fought his battles. She can cook, and I believe she has a child (single mom)...not 100% about that last part. There is a scene about a falling leaf or a falling sakura petal. However, something happens to Tomoe and Kenshin vows revenge against Kaoru for hurting/killing Tomow. Then, Kenshin/Battousai merges with the new Kenshin and they are confused by the conflicting memories. I cannot remember the rest of the arc...I know it was 2 different stories...can any help me out witht he name of the story and/or the author? Many thanks. ALSO, I remember reading this story in either HS senoir year or in College...this would have been around 2006.
