Hermione was stranded. She didn't know where she was or which door to go through and her friends were lost within the Department of Mysteries. There were 5 doors around her. She chose the one with a picture of a time turner and she entered. What she did not see was the danger sign on the floor. Inside was a room filled with darkness and she moved cautiously, not knowing where she was within the room. Hermione could not see the door, she could not see her own hand. While walking in darkness, she tripped and crashed somewhere. The bushy haired witch tried to look up but unconsciousness walked up to her like an old friend. Just as she fell unconscious, a bright, blinding light filled the room. Rushing in, Harry had seen the bright light and entered to see Hermione Granger, his best friend disappearing from sight.
1976 Hogwarts
The Marauders were sitting near a beech tree, finally finishing their O.W.Ls when a bedraggled 15 year old girl popped into Remus Lupin's arms from out of nowhere. The boys stared and Sirius pondered why the girl had arrived in Remus's lap not his or James's. The girl had began to stir. When she was fully conscious, she looked at them and froze.
"No, it can't be true. I can't be here with Harry's dad. I know that they're dead. Oh shit. I know what happened." muttered the girl unaware that Remus could hear her.
Remus was shocked, this girl was a mystery and he intended to solve it but he needed to know her name.
"Ummm, what's your name and how did you get on my lap?" asked Remus warily
The girl had just seemed to notice and suddenly jumped up mouthing a swear word. Remus frowned as she got off him, the warmth that had spread across his body had disappeared.
"Uh, hi. I'm Hermione. Hermione Gr-Clarke. Hermione Clarke." said Hermione before she was off running to the castle. James adorned his Invisibility Cloak and the boys hid under it with him and followed Hermione.
"Shite, I'm with Remus, Sirius, Pettigrew and James. Ok let me get my info straight, James Potter aka Prongs is a stag animagus and owns an invisibility cloak. Sirius Black aka Padfoot is a dog animagus and Pettigrew aka Wormtail is a rat animagus. Lastly, Remus Lupin aka Moony is a werewolf and has problems with thinking that people would not be his friend because he suffers from lycanthropy. Oh and they created the Marauders Map." muttered Hermione. Remus was shocked, angry and scared all at the same time because she knew everything about them and angry because he so definitely did not have a problem with the lycanthropy friend thing. He had never seen her anywhere yet she knew everything, she knew too much. Could she be a Death Eater? Should they obliviate her? These questions rolled in his mind.
