I was getting ready for the school dance when I heard my mom answer the door and say "why hello Percy." "Hi Mrs.Kane, is Sadie ready?" " Almost." Mom replied, I tied my hair into a braid and went down
. We were the last ones to leave the 21st nome. We went through the dance and I introduced Percy to my mates Liz and Emma who came with Carter, Walt, Julian and Zia. We talked for a bit when at once there was an explosion and Percy told me to get everyone to safety while he defended our backs with his sword, he didn't even give me a chance to say anything because he charged towards the monsters with such speed and power that he took out 44 in one swing. After that everything went black.
Percy pov
After I took out the monsters I called "SADIE!" I didn't hear or see her but I found a note on the ground that had a riddle on it. The riddle said My empire extends far and wide, I wash my comb in the tide. Whilst I crow, the sun doth rise, And in my breast, all Europe lies. I took the riddle to Chiron since I couldn't crack it. Go figure.
At Camp Half-Blood
I went to the Big house and asked Chiron but here's what Chiron said "Well Percy the riddle refers to Napoleon's empire through out europe." "But how's that going to help me save my girlfriend?!"
