What if: Battles which shake you up
In this AU , instead of Gogeta , potara fusion of Vegeta and Goku , Vegito fights against Legendary Super Saiyan Broly!
Chapter 1 – Vegito Returns! Vegito Blue vs Broly!
After Tournament of Power , Goku and Vegtea return to their everyday training and Whis asked them "Why do you seek strength more than you already have?" Goku answers to get strongest in the multiverse while for Vegeta , he says to kill Frieza if ever see him again. It looks like both Goku and Vegeta's wish were granted when Frieza sent his men to steal Dragon Balls on Earth.
When Goku , Vegeta , Bulma and Whis went to take Dragon Balls from Frieza's men on Ice Continent , they were greeted by Frieza but also sense a tremendous amount of power from Frieza's ship. On landing , Frieza introduced two survivors of Saiyan Race – Paragus and Broly (dbs) who were exiled by Vegeta's Father , King Vegeta due to Broly's high power level which far exceeded any saiyan in that and previous generations.
While Paragus wanted Revenge on Vegeta , he didn't know about the act which Frieza did which cause destruction of Planet Vegeta , and as for Broly , like Goku he is kind hearted Saiyan and doesn't like to fight but still fights because of his father.
At start , Broly proves to be strong enough to hold on his own against Vegeta in his base and super saiyan form and goku is excited by such strong opponent he has seen in a while. Later on , Vegeta decides to finish battle by going Super Saiyan God in which his power rivals that of God.
Broly proves to be almost no match against ssg Vegeta but goes in his Rage mode where His power seems to Surpass Vegeta's power. Before Vegeta can go beyond his Super Saiyan God , Goku challenges Broly to fight him which he does by roaring loudly.
Goku seems to enjoy his battle but his shocked by Broly's crazy strength and sees that his Super Saiyan Power is not having much effect against Broly and goes Super Saiyan God and stops Broly to move. He tries to calm him down and for a moment he looks like calm but soon goes in his rage mode again.
Broly beats Goku in his super saiyan god form and proves to be almost knocked out before motivated by Piccolo to fight and then tears his orange gi , only in his blue undershirt and goes Super Saiyan Blue , Power which is beyond God form.
As battle continues , Goku fights at equal level against Broly , although Goku is not at his full power. Seeing Broly in his rage mode scares of Paragus who says he will be killed by him and as Frieza asked if this was his limit , Paragus agrees. Frieza remembers how Krillen death on Namek years ago triggered Goku's Super Saiyan form. For Broly to achieve power , Freeza killed Paragus with his death beam piercing his heart killing him in instant.
Later Frieza coughs and yells , "Broly! Look! Look at this tragedy!" Goku and father who were in battle stops and looks towards Frieza. When Frieza saw them seeing his way he yelled ,"Your father! A stray Ki blast took his life!He is dead!"
At mention of his father's death and seeing his dead body cause Broly to grab his head in anger and sadness which cause his power to rise again and transforms in Super Saiyan. Frieza was happy to see this while Goku keeps on battling Frieza.
Vegeta starts to get annoying and start fighting Broly along with Goku , although he didn't want to. However , Broly is so strong that he beats Goku and Vegeta tearing their clothes due to impacts given by Broly. Goku and Vegeta decideds to use their signature moves – Kamehameha wave and Gallick Gun respectively together to stop Broly but proves to not have much effect on him.
They decide to fly around and came up with idea to make Frieza their scapegoat. They fly around , Broly chasing them in Rage and as soon they reach near Frieza , they make Broly see Frieza and make him is nex target. While seeing Frieza , Goku says "Have Fun Frieza!"
Frieza shocked by both Goku's and Broly appearance's get worried and says in nervous and panic voice ,"W-What are you d-doing?! I-I am Mighty L-Lord FRIEZA!" But his words seem to have no effect on Broly who starts to hit Frieza with strong punches which make Frieza to yell in Pain.
Goku grabs Vegeta and uses instant transmission to meet with their Namekian warrior , Piccolo who asks them ,"Hey! What in the name of multiverse is going on?!" Vegeta removes his hand from Goku and Goku says ,"I have not time to explain. Piccolo do you have any senzu?"
Piccolo says he doesn't. Goku thinks and saiys ,"Vegeta , you know about fusion dance , right?"
Vegeta thinks and says ,"Now , you mention trunks mention about it before. Wait , you don't mean to do the Ridiculous dance due to fuse right?"
Goku nods and says , "We don't have Potara earring and that's what all we can do right now! Let's do it! Vegeta!"
In original universe , they fuses and results in Gogeta to fight against Broly. However , this is a 'What if'. While goku try to convince Vegeta , Supreme Kai Shin appears and says ,"Goku! Vegeta! Here catch these!" Goku and Vegeta catches in surprise being completely surprised by Shin appearance saw Potara earring but in blue color. "Kaioshin-sama is this..?" Goku asks and Shin nods and asnwers ,"These are indeed Potara earring but are a level above original , it won't result in permanent fusion but would be strong enough to hold you in Vegito form evenif you go blue but due to it's upgrade , it's time limit is same as Fusion Dance!Go and defeat Broly!"
Vegeta huffs still refusing to do fusion but Goku tells him if he doesn't his 'Dear Bulma' will die which make him Blush and decides to do fusion. Both Goku and Vegeta puts on Potara earrings results in the Ultimate fusion to come back which was strong enough to defeat Buuhan and Fused Zamasu.
"Ok! It's time to do this! I wonder if I should go Blue to defeat him , I think Super Saiyan 2 would be enough or should I go for overkill I wonders." Says Vegito in his usual arrogant and confident voice which irritates Piccolo and makes Shin sweat drop. Piccolo yells at Vegito ,"JUST GO! WE DON'T HAVE TIME!"
"Ok , ok! Geez , learn to have some fun Piccolo! Vegito out!" says Vegitio who put his index and middle finger on his forehead and vanishes through instant transmission. Shin laughs nervously and says ,"Well , I am going I will see the battle from Land of Kais." Piccolo nods and saiys Goodbye to Shin who vanishes through his own brand of instant transmission – Kai-Kai.
Back with Frieza and Broly , Broly keeps fighting Frieza who enen in his Golden Form is seen to be not able to fight Broly who with each moment is getting stronger. Son of Pragus smashes Emperor of Universe again in mountain , who just yells in Pain and as Frieza sees Broly roaring , he smiles and says ,"Fascinating! Your power is amazing!"
As Frieza finishes this , Broly again roars and went somewhere else to get a new punching bag. Suddenly Vegito appears in Front of Frieza making Emperor question who this individual was. He looked Like Goku? No , Vegeta? Frieza asks the stranger ,"Who do you think you are!?"
Vegito looks at Frieza and says ,"Looks like you are beaten up , So called Emperor of the univers."
Frieza gets angry and asks ,"Shut up! Just tell me who you are!?"
"Well just like Piccolo , you can't take jokes look like. Well , I am Vegito , the ultimate fusion of Kakarot and Vegeta! And I am here to beat Broly!"
"What do you mean by that?" Frieza asks still angry from previous insult by vegito.
" Well , looks like your so beaten , you can't hear me! Well , you were dead for long time so you can say Goku and Vegeta have become one to become strong. But their power is not added , they are significantly multiplied!"
Frieza in shock hearing this yells in disbelief ,"W-WHAT!? Not fair!"
Vegito hears and only says ," Coming from you 'Not fair' is something I can't accept after Broly , it's you Frieza!" Vegito says as he teleported away from Frieza to reach legendary super saiyan.
On other part , Broly in his rage mode is seen fighting against Whis , who just dodges every attack from Broly and seem to make him more frustrated! While dodging Vegito suddenly appears in front of Whis. Whis looks at Vegito and says ,"Oh my!" and Vegito says ,"Don't worry , Whis! He has to deal with me , now!"
Broly looks at Vegito and starts growling while Whis exclaims ,"Oh my , you two fused! Looks like you can work together!" Bulma who was hiding from Broly looks at Vegito and says ,"Oh my! They did the fusion thing! And looks like it's different from one Trunks and Goten does!"
Vegito keeps looking at Broly who still growls seeing the fusion. Vegito yells ,"Let's do it , Broly!" Vegito starts flying with Broly chasing him!
Vegito seems to be faster than Broly makes Broly to not even able to land a ki blast or even an impact by his punches! Vegito to seems to take it easy and uses only his kicks to attack him which injures Broly much more than either of two Fusees or Frieza were able to. Vegito thinks it's enough playing around and decideds to finish Broly , by going Super Saiyan! He looks at Broly and says ,"This is Super VEGITO!"
Battle continues as Broly still trys to connect his punches against Vegito but fails. Vegito then kicks Broly in abdomen so hard making him cough spit and then punching him in the ground. But Ultimate fusion does not stop and uses multiple ki blast injuring Broly. Broly uses a powerful blast and Vegito uses a Kamehameha which leads , both of saiyans to enter a new dimension seeing this Vegito exclaims ," WHAT!? Collision of our blast was good enough to throw us into another dimension!?"
While Fusion was confused by this , Broly comes and attacks Vegito who dodges attack barely and sees the punch nearly connected with him and thought ,'If I didn't dodge it , he would have injured me greatly!'
Later on , Vegito keeps fighting Legendary Super Saiyan who in desperation raises his power beyond his limits which leads his body to grow bigger and him to gain green hair instead of normal yellow. Here , Broly reaches the real legendary super saiyan. Before Vegito notices his hair color and power , his kick aim at Broly's face didn't even faze him and starts punching Vegito which landed on him.
Vegito decides this is enough and goes Super Saiyan Blue and starts battling Broly again. Before they can realize , both of them were on Earth again. Blue was strong enough to not give Broly a single chance and like Gogeta uses massive ki blasts injuring Broly and like how Gogeta uses his Soul Punishers to attack Broly , Vegito decides to uses technique he used against Zamasu ,"This is the end , Broly! FINAL KAMEHAMEHA!"
The large ki wave goes and lands on Broly who screams in Pain due to massive power in the blast. Whis who was seeing battle exclaimed ,"Wonderful! What amazing display of power! It looks like battle has come to end!"
Vegito smirks not noticing smile Whis had. But during their battle , Vegito notices and saw Shenron has been summoned ,'What's going on? Is Frieza using Dragon Balls?" He looks at Broly and sees he is trying to stand up giving him enough time to sense who was near shenron and sense two unknown energies , he asks himself ,"Who are those two near Dragon Balls? Frieza's henchmen?" Before Vegito could use instant transmission he saw Broly getting up raising his power level and Vegito smiles ,"At least , he is a true saiyan! Not giving up bu the outcome is clear! You are not ready to face me yet , Broly!"
Broly growls and Vegito starts charging up a strong Kamehameha which goes on raging with power towards Broly. Broly trys to stop blast but before it could injure him , he vanishes shocking fusion. Vegito stops his wave and says ,"Where did he go?" At same time , dragon ball went up in sky and vanishes scattering around the world , Vegito sees this and guesses , "Whoever used Dragon ball , looks like teleported Broly somewhere else. Looks like you have good friend Broly."
Vegito smiles and notices a space ship heading away from Earth and senses two power levels out of which one was near dragon balls. He also senses Frieza aiming a death beam towards that ship and teleports and uses his Spirit sword to injure Emperor of Universe who barely dodges sudden attack. Emperor looks at Vegito who smirks and says ,"Not so fast , Frieza!"
Frieza releases his golden form going back to his final form and goes to his ship before saying ,"I will come to this planet again!" Later Frieza and his army left , leaving Vegito alone who releases his spirit sword.
After three days , Frieza still searches for Broly , Lemo and Cheelai so they (especially Broly) can serve him again while Goku visits Vampa and gives Broly and his friends supplies he got on his way.
Goku says goodbye to all three of them but Cheelai asks ,"Hey wait! You didn't tell us who you are?"
Goku looks and says "Oh yeah! Well I am Son Goku! But Broly…" He pauses and put his fingers on his forehead siginifying usage of instant transmission and saying with a smirk ,"Call me Kakarot!"
