Myou looked at Sesshomaru from across the field. She had a smirk on her face, and lifted her sword across her body, reflecting the light at him. He watched her, motionless and silent, knowing she was about to make a move. His silver bangs drifted back and forth before his golden orbs.

She step forward and leapt toward him sword at the ready, and swung as she neared him, narrowly missing his chest armor. As she passed him, her green eyes looked directly into his golden ones. She spun gracefully to the side and came to a stop three feet from him. Her sword dropped to the side, her other and in a small fist by her side; a grin displaying her fangs.

"You missed, you have no reason to smile." He stated.

"I didn't miss." She lifted her hand and uncurled her fingers to the show the wings of a butterfly. "I wasn't aiming for you. How did you not notice it? Seems your perceptions are slipping after only 400 years."

I grow tired of this." He stated and turned and began to walk away. He paused for a moment and took a deep breath. "He's awake." He pondered how that would have happened and then lost interest and continued on his way. Finding the tomb of his father was the only thing that was important to him.

Myou sheathed her sword and started to follow him. "Are you sure?" She didn't smell or feel anything yet. She was usually sensitive to the changes of energy.

Sesshomaru glanced at Myou, not sure how she didn't feel that large shift in energy. She normally noticed these things before him. It was coming from the same area where he was pinned to that tree from chasing the shikon no tama and that priestess. Sesshomaru had visited the site once around 25 years ago to see if the rumors he'd heard were true. It wasn't a surprise that the half-breed whelp had been that reckless. He was unfit to share the same bloodline.

"I'm going to go see. " Myou stated as she started to walk toward the east.

"Do as you wish. I shall continue my quest." Sesshomaru stated as he continued west, deeper into the land his father once ruled.

Myou stopped and watched as he walked farther way, "If that's the direction you wish you go…" She said ominously, "Suit yourself." She knew where the tomb of his father was placed. She was the one who had brought him to his final resting place. However, InuTaisho had sworn her to secrecy before he had passed away, she even if she wanted to help him, she couldn't. This also made her feel responsible for InuYasha's safety where his brother was concerned. If Sesshomaru didn't want to be around InuYasha, the better for them both.

As she walked along the path, she came cross a well that was dry at the bottom. It had a familiar smell coming from it… but something was off about it. She couldn't quite place it. At the same token, there was the smell of a centipede coming from the well too. She thought nothing of that, and kept walking for the village. She wasn't sure what was going on in the trees not far off, but she wasn't about to go over there and interrupt the commotion, much like Sesshomaru, Myou had little interest in things that didn't directly involve her. She knew InuYasha would head for the village, where the shikon jewel was kept, after he finished off that centipede.

Myou made it to the village a few moments before dawn, and the place was barren. It seemed they were all out fighting that centipede after it tore through some of the houses. She looked around, and saw the hut of the priestess that guarded the area at the base of the stairs going up to the shrine. She thought the shrine had the perfect vantage point, and took one leap and landed atop of the archway. She sat on one of the lower beams and leaned against the one above it. Now it was a waiting game.
