Hi everyone, it's Autumn! I just wanted to say that this will be my first story, and I'm super excited for you all to read it! Like I said in the summary, this story will mostly have OCs, but you might find a real Warriors character here and there. I know this prologue looks really short, but I promise the chapters will get longer and longer as we go on. So anyway, if you happened to stumble upon this story, please give it a chance! :)
Sitting upon a star-studded tree trunk was a silver tom, gazing into a pool of water in front of him with narrowed green eyes. He let out a long sigh, curling his scarred tail over his paws tiredly. The tom was old, without a doubt. He bore many old wounds, and lived to see so many battles, so many deaths… He was ready to just leave all of this behind. All of this grief, and pain, and worry.
"Thinking of your old age, Riverstar?"
He turned, eyes falling upon a sleek, well-groomed, ginger and white tom. This tom was much younger than Riverstar. He'd even lived long enough to see him grow from a little kit whose paws were too big for him, to a wise, noble leader of ThunderClan. The first leader of ThunderClan. Oh, how he was proud.
"Don't tell me you're thinking of retiring just yet," Thunderstar went on, whiskers twitching with worry, "You know the four of us still have one last duty to fulfill. We cannot rest until we fulfill that duty. Until… we know our Clans are safe."
"This time, it might be a lot harder to ensure the Clans' safety," a feminine voice mewed. Riverstar turned to face the pale brown she-cat next to him, who licked a paw and drew it over her ear boredly.
"Windstar is right." An elderly black she-cat mewed, flicking her tail sharply. "Whatever's coming, it's going to affect every single one of the Clans. If they continue to fight amongst each other like a bunch of starved badgers, they'll never survive."
Thunderstar rolled his eyes, the words sounding bitter on his tongue. "So we must send them a prophecy to make them sure of how doomed they are."
"That isn't the point!" Shadowstar snapped back, "Look, we don't have much time for this. We must warn the Clans as soon as possible! But we have to be careful of who we send the message to."
Riverstar's eyes glowed with thought. "I have an idea. What if…"
The cats of StarClan were sure of their plan that night, but only time will tell if the living Clans will survive…

So... yeah! I only included RiverClan and ShadowClan in the allegiances because they're probably the only two Clans with prominent roles. Most of ShadowClan has real characters instead of OCs, because I'm not really putting as much focus on it, but RiverClan is full of 'em. Also, if you happened to notice that Skystar wasn't in the prologue, it's because when SkyClan was driven out, their ancestors stopped being a part of StarClan. I believe it was the same case in the actual books as well. Just to clarify, I have no plans on bringing back SkyClan, just because it's not really the point of the story and I've always sort of preferred these four Clans. Anyway, I hope you keep reading!
