He alway's knew they'd turn on him, it was inevitable everyone always left him eventually; he just didn't think it would happen like this.
The former yellow mech was hiding in one of the cities storm drain pipes, despite his small size it was still a snug fit as he hid from his friends.
He was looking at a particularly large dent on his chassis amongst others he'd collected that night, had it hit a little more to the right and he was certain he'd be offline; he winced at the memory of the wreaking ball.
He didn't mean it, he didn't know, he tried to reassure himself that Bulkhead would never hurt him.
But he had hurt him.
He grabbed at his helm, no he just didn't know.
Shouldn't he though? He was his best friend beside Sari, didn't that count for anything?!
Apparently all it took was a color and helm switch for them to fall for Wasp's trick, past experience telling him that he should have expected this; it was only a matter of time.
Especially since he had tried explaining himself to Bulkhead and Prowl, but the two refused to believe him and then the flying Autobot's showed up.
"What am I going to do?" Bumblebee didn't know, he had no idea how to get out of this.
His friends and the elite guard were after him, and there was no one who believed it was him.
Were they blind! He obviously wasn't Wasp, didn't they notice their optic's or how Wasp acted!
He wouldn't put it pass Sentinel as purposely being glad to have a reason to arrest him.
He punched the concrete of the drain, all he did was add some new dents and scratches to his servo.
But it took his anger with it leaving nothing but dread, what was going to happen to him now?
Everytime he tried to explain himself they attacked him and it led to a chase, then that led to another hiding spot and more chasing.
He hugged his legs to his chassis putting his helm on his knees, he really messed up as how did the human's put it? He made his berth now he had to lay in it.
Suddenly there was the sound of an engine and jets as he stilled, pushing himself as far back as he could and no matter how much he hated it; Wasp's green paint job blended in better at night compaired to his usual yellow.
Of course if he was in his usual color this wouldn't be happening right now.
There were the footsteps of two mech's, he hoped they'd just leave as it seemed Primus the damn fragger; decided to be merciful for once.
"We no be seeing traitor"
It was the twins which one was talking he had no idea, the two sounded similar and at the moment didn't care.
He didn't move, didn't twitch, his vent's hitched, he just wanted them to leave him alone.
Part of his processor wondered if this is how Wasp felt every day since he escaped, it hadn't even been a whole day and already he couldn't stand the paranoia, the constant running and looking over his shoulder.
"Lets try the docks" Bulkheads voice sounded.
Bumblebee vented in relief when he heard them leave, so he was safe for the moment.
But is this what it was going to come to, running until they caught him and then end up taking Wasp place in the stockade's; part of him actually wanted to just let them catch him.
But he was too stubborn to give up without a fight, even if he didn't want to he'd have to fight back; he couldn't run forever.
He looked out seeing as the danger had past for the moment, he needed a place to hide from them if only for awhile; they couldn't track his signal thankfully.
Thinking ahead wasn't one of his strong points as he wracked his processor for a place, Sari's was out as she might not recognize him and even if she did he would just end up dragging her down with him; no Sari was out of the question.
That left two other place's.
Dinobot Island which was inhabited by the dinobot's, go to one danger to another but the dinobot's would also make the other's wary; but they'd probably also try and tear into him.
And there was also the danger of Blackarachnia.
And second was the bottom of Lake Erie, while that could work it would also eventually mess up his system's being underwater for to long and rusting under a lake where he'd be a sitting duck was not appealing.
He slowly stood up and looked around again scanning the area just to be sure he was alone, well if push came to shove he could drive to Chicago or Ohio.
After all the Autobot's weren't that well known outside Detroit, the idea didn't appeal to him as he realized he was closest to Lake Erie.
Well if the dinobot's got him at least they'd kill him pretty quick, if Blackarachnia found him well he hadn't thought that far ahead.
(Meanwhile)
Wasp had just finished reading everything he could find out about Bumblebee, he needed to play the part though it didn't matter much; the Autobot's seemed to be very blind.
He was suprised they hadn't caught any of his slip up's and they even believed the lie about his battle mask.
Thinking about what he had done brought a smirk to his faceplate, right about now the little bot that was the cause of all his problems was being hunted like a decepticon he mildly wondered if he should have just offlined him; after all he caught the bumbler off guard.
It wouldn't have been that difficult to stab a stinger into his spark chamber.
But no that would have been to much of a mercy, he wanted him to suffer for everything he made Wasp go through.
Especially from what he had found out about the yellow bot, he had it pretty easy after ruining Wasp life.
And that infuriated the former green mech.
That little yellow glitch hadn't suffered a day in his life, while he.
CRACK!
Wasp looked at the organic creation in his servo's, it was called a game controller if what he read was correct; it had broken in half from the pressure as he threw the piece's onto the ground.
"Stupid game!" How Bumblebee found this entertaining was beyond him.
But he'd have to play this organic game if he wanted to keep his ruse up.
He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard approaching engine's and a very annoying voice complaining, Wasp could admit one thing under all his messed up circuits; Sentinel Prime was the most infuriating mech this side of the galaxy.
"What do you mean Wasp escaped!" The big chinned Prime was basically yelling at the twins.
The two mech's winced, helms and wing's lowered at the yelling not that it was anything new; Sentinel was always like this when they messed up.
"It wasn't their fault!" Bulkhead spoke up, feeling bad for the twins.
It was kinda Jetstorm's winds that blew Wasp away, but Bulkhead had been the one to hit him in the first place.
"So it was your's!" The Prime switched victim's.
Everyone else sighed at this or in Ratchet's case began to swear loudly at the Prime, all of them at the end of the proverbial rope.
No one noticing Wasp who wasn't at all happy to hear that Bumblebee escaped, it made the idea of having offlined him when he had the chance much more appealing.
"Bumblebot not get away, even if Wasp have to find Bumblebot on his own" Wasp would make sure he paid, even if he had to track down the other minibot himself.
He was brought out of his processor by that big oaf calling for Bumblebee, reminding himself that he's suppose to be the yellow mech he turned and was ensnared in green servos.
What the slag!
He struggled which apparently wasn't anything new for the blubbering oaf to see, as he let him go and apologized.
"Opps, sorry little buddy! Wasp got away and I got a bit worried that he came after ya again" Bulkhead tapped his claws together.
Wasp held back a snarky remark at being nearly crushed by Bulkhead, suprised by the genuine concern in the green mechs voice; then again the bulking idiot was suppose to be Bumblebee's best friend.
Maybe he could use that to his advantage.
"Wa-I mean I'm fine, Wasp hasn't shown up" Wasp answered Bulkhead as he looked down the hall, he could hear Optimus and Sentinel arguing.
Bulkhead turned" Bossbot want's to start up the search again in the morning, but Sentinel want's us to keep looking" the argument would probably take awhile, especially when it came to the two Prime's who disliked eachother.
Wasp nodded at the explanation, not really caring.
Day or night Bumblebee was going to pay, Wasp just had to find the other minibot first but he wouldn't have long; before they'd want to try and fix his fake battlemask problem.
Unknown to the former green mech someone else would be able to expose his deception.
As the only noise was the arguing Prime's, Ratchet's comments and the twins asking about the gamestation.
Jazz and Prowl stayed out of the circle instead exchanging idea's on where Wasp could have gone.
While far from the base a green mech was walking through the lake toward's a certain island.
I never realized how stupid this episode was until I watched it nearly a decade later like come on!! How blind are these guys Wasp still had his patterns despite being yellow and his optics are purple! Anyway this came to my brain those who follow me know I have a thing for torturing my fav character's so we all know where this stories headed
